    Tried to create a PDF off a web page. If the first word of the page title is with a colon, it couldn't get it save to local. Instead, seems my Adobe Acrobat DC is looking for the network drive and save it there. If the first word named "Making: steps to make a cake", then Acrobat will try to save the created PDF from the web page to the network drive "Making:", which basically doesn't exist. I am not sure if this will open up any risk for hackers trying to get onto anyone network drive (doesn't sound like…

  3. Acrobat Reader DC stopped working on Windows 10 PC no error message

    Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working on my PC (Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H2). The last time it worked I was writing in LaTeX (Distribution: MikTex, Editor: Texmaker). Acrobat Reader worked fine for a long time even when writing in LaTeX. But somehow it suddenly stopped. I tried reinstalling Acrobat Reader, tried some workarounds in the registry, messed with some file names, tried repairing it in windows programs and features and tried compatibility mode but nothing worked. I can't really imagine any way in which LaTeX would cause the Reader to crash. LaTeX outputs pdf files but the programs don't…

  4. Close all the tabs opened with one click but without closing Acrobat Reader DC

    I often open a lot of PDFs at once. To close them all at once, I have to close the app. Then I have to reopen it.

    Set tabs to colors when working with more than one file helps to differentiate and sort. EXCEL allows tabs to be colored. Similar to that. Thank you.

    Suggestion for improvement

    In "Create action links" "reach a page view" and "Use this aspect by default", the default setting does not integrate the zoom level, if I choose "full page" instead of "custom", I have to make this choice for each new link ... tedious !

  11. Steuerelemente bei Video (Rich Media) funktionieren nicht

    Da mein Video in einer aus PowerPoint exportiertem PDF nicht abspielbar ist (mangels Flash-Support) habe ich das Video nachträglich über das "Rich-Media"-Werkzeug in das PDF eingefügt. So ist es zwar abspielbar aber bei den Steuerelementen lässt sich nichts einstellen. Ob ich dort "keine" oder "Alle Steuerelemente" auswähle ändert nichts an der Darstellung. Es werden keine Steuerelemente angezeigt. Auch das Feld mit der Farbauswahl lässt sich nicht anklicken. So kann man das Video im PDF mit einem Klick darauf zwar starten, aber nicht mehr anhalten oder erneut starten.

  15. Show Key Usage on "Sign with a Digital ID" prompt

    Requesting that the Certificate Key Usage be presented on the "Sign with a Digital ID" prompt. Being able to see the key usage would ensure users are picking the certificate with Non-Repudiation in environments where users have two certificates with Digital Signatures.

    Attached is an example of the current prompt and an example of the desired prompt.
