  1. I'm a realtor and I'm paying for adobe to break up my documents and disclosures for my file. It doesn't allow me to do anything as it says i need to get permissions.   2. On fillable form being sent out to individuals would like the ability for the receiving party to attach a document to the completed fillable form and both be returned to us at the same time.Acrobat Pro DC does not offer a field under the Actions tab, Add, of a Text box for a File>Attach File.

  4. Elevated rights pose possible vulnerability with applications which grant these privileges in the C:\Program Files. Acrobat DC creates the folders below and grants everyone “modify” rights. to these folders:

    C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\COMMON FILES\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache
    C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\COMMON FILES\Adobe\SLCache

    The following scenarios are presented:

    1. Install Acrobat DC but do not launch it. Modify the rights and remove full control. Acrobat DC will not launch.
    2. Install Acrobat DC, launch it. Modify the rights. Acrobat DC launches with no issues.

    Is there a way to modify your application so it installs without having the full rights present?

  5. For ComparePDF, I hope there will be a way to make this side by side view switch to vertical. So I could be looking at comparisons this way (combined two screenshots below):

    I'm looking at financials with small font, so each line of text is fairly long.

    In Side-By-Side view, zooming out makes the text too small; zooming in makes half of each line out of view.

  6. Display problem
    The attached file shows correctly in other viewers and prints correctly from Acrobat. Also exports to image correctly. In Acrobat the transparency is gone.

  7. During the hurricane, when we were without internet service, I still had to keep working at home for my job.

    I have Acrobat 2017, so it shouldn’t require access to the “cloud” to work.
    Yet it ran astonishingly slow, so much that I had to force quit several times when it froze my computer.
    I ended up using Apple Preview because it worked properly, as advertised, without slowing my system. It is a productivity application. Apparently Acrobat is no longer in that league.

    I bought this version so I wouldn’t have to be tethered to the “cloud.” Why was that…

  8. The Acrobat DC is really **** .. I Fill up the Form 3 times and as I save it... it non editable and can't upload anywhere because of encryption

  9. I want to be able to take a filled out and digitally signed (by somebody else) form and save it as an unfilled and unsigned version of itself.

    Many times I have had to go searching over slow company intranet for a blank unsigned version of a form because the only ones I have locally are signed versions. I've even had to re-do letters from scratch because either I didn't save a blank version, or accidentally saved over the blank copy without thinking about it.   10. I'm unable to create a signature, when I select 'add signature' my screen grey's out and i'm unable to do anything. It doesn't move past this, and then I have to escape out. Is there a work around?

    Hi,

    Can you please share the below information :

    1. Your OS details.
    2. Version of your Acrobat. Go to Help > About Acrobat.
    3. Can you try clicking on Next inside Fill and Sign app and check if you are able to create a link.
    4. Please try to sign out and then sign in again.

  12. In an earlier version of DC I could erase the wrong information in paint, save and close that page. Go back to the original document open a text box and enter the correct information. I try this with this new version and everything messes up. I was in a chat with one of your techs yesterday for almost 3 hours trying to do what I need to do in the 2020 version of Adobe DC. And it looks horrible, takes a lot of time and I hate it. Please Please Please fix this. I have been looking at peoples complaints…

  13. Our PDF is organized by bookmarks. We can select each bookmark section to print, however this does not work on the first bookmark section. Additionally, if multiple bookmarks are selected to print (print sections...), it ignores the first section.

  14. If Adobe can't compare files because an "incorrect structure exists", can the error box give more information or navigate to where in the document Adobe was having an issue. The files I am comparing are very large and I have no idea what structure is incorrect or even which version of the document it is in.

  17. I cannot seem to get OCR to run on an existing PDF. I need to be able to search for specific words in this document. I know the words are in there but the search feature turns up nothing. I cannot find a help topic on this or how to do it. I've tried clicking "Scan OCR" and "Recognize text" but neither are making the doc searchable.

  18. When entering two signatories - The first signatory with a signature line, print line, title line and date line, they are automatically required by a red *. When there is a second signatory, the fields are all required except for the date. This should also be able to be mandatory. If you change this to a text box then you can make it mandatory. You should be able to format it like the date and make it mandatory like the first one.

  19. Currently during the Add Licenses process, when supplying an email address to assign the license to, a Welcome email is not sent to this newly created user.
    Please add this functionality to the process.

    Currently in order to generate the Welcome emails to the user I must un-assign the license, save the account, then re-assign the license which then triggers the Welcome email.

  20. Keep getting notified when I close a document after saving it and open a new one that the previous document was closed suddenly, would you like to reopen? If I close it myself, why would I need to be reminded that it closed?
