   The export of an OCR'ed document contains not just the values for each bounding box, but also the bounding box's x,y, coordinates, width, and height. This can be an extremely useful feature when dealing with structured forms / documents where the location of text contains valuable information.

2. Adobe crashes when I try to add "Red Lines" Balloon comments etc.

   Currently using an pentium i5 processor, 8gb ram, no other programs running. Is there anyway to shut off comments, or does anyone have a suggestion?

3. Find or Advance Search

   When using Find Ctrl+F or Advance Search the Acrobat DC stop working and crash. This happens with any document. The issue occurs in Windows 10.

4. Put Text Select Tool on Standard Toolbar

   Unfortunately Acrobat DC buries an important tool; the ability to select text. I believe it is hidden somewhere, but I have yet to find it. It is very common to want to select some text in a document. Why bury a common task deep within the program? There seems to be the trend these days with software to a have a minimalist interface and bury the most common tools. My toolbar has the least commonly used tools as standard.

5. Comment window stuck open

   It is possible to highlight text, but not enter anything in the comment box (no need to in my case). Eventually, the comment box locks in place and you can't close it.
   Workaround: save and close the document and re-open it.

7. Includes the account creation date report

   If will be very useful for any organization to have the posibility, via admin console, to know the creation date of an account.

   We have Enterprise licensing and we're surprise this info is not available, especially for audit purposes.

8. Bug Report: Adobe Bug when creating pdf from scanner in latest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

   This is not an idea. It is a report of a serious, newly introduced bug in your expensive software.

   File -> Create -> PDF from Scanner worked fine for me for several years with my Epson WF-3540 printer/scanner, several levels and versions of Adobe Acrobat products - up to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - and my old Win7 laptop.

   Last week I finally got around to deploying my new Win10 laptop and installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Today I needed to scan some letters to PDF and was surprised and disappointed.

   My usual "File -> Create -> PDF from Scanner" brings up the "Scan & OCR" page with sections:

   Scanner

   (Epson WF-3540 is selected)

   Scan using

   "Default settings" radio button is pre-selected and cannot be de-selected

   "Show scanner's user interface" is greyed out.

   (The settings "gear icon" brings up a different page of options)

   Or use a predefined scan setting

   All of these options such as "Autodetect Color Mode" are greyed out. They cannot be selected.

   My former procedure (with myWin7 computer) was to select one of the predefined settings and run with it. No problem.

   Today, hitting Scan brings up a "What do you want to scan?" dialog box.

   I change paper source from Flatbed to Document Feeder
   I select the "Black and white picture of text" radio button
   I select the "Adjust the quality of the scanned picture" hyperlink and increase Resolution from 100 to 300 DPI and hit OK (which changes the radio button selection to "Custom Settings"
   I change page size from Legal to "Letter 8.5 x 11"
   

   I hit Scan

   IMPORTANT: There is no way to save these four steps! Must be repeated for every scanning event.

   This is an unacceptable downgrade.

   I chatted with a remote session with a support agent who concluded "That's the way it's intended to work in the latest edition". And "It cannot be fixed".

   I submitted a request for assistance to the Adobe Support Community and received this reply from Amal:
   "We are sorry for the trouble and the experience. Please use the Adobe wish form (https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html) to share your feedback with the engineering team."

   I replied to Amal on the Adobe Support Community:

   "Hello Amal. Thank you for your reply. You are not the one who sets policy or fixes software bugs, so I will follow your suggestion, but please pass this comment up the line.

   Requests to fix newly introduced bugs are not "wishes". I'm somewhat put off by Adobe calling it that.
   This expensive program used to work. The same program - with the same scanner - with only a change of computer and operating system - now has a serious bug.
   Windows 10 is not new. I held off to beyond the last possible moment to adopt Windows 10. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not new.
   
   This bug ought to have been fixed by now, and fixing it should not be treated as if a suggested new feature."

   I do not want to cancel my subscription but I pay too much to accept this kind of downgraded performance.

9. BUG REPORT/Why does this happen after I reopen a saved file?

   Problem! can anyone tell me why this happens to my saved files. I reopen them and this is what I get. My files are messed up. (See Attachment) Hours of redoing contracts and still getting this sucks!!

10. Bug : Shortcut to switch between tab

    I was surprised to see that when I press Ctrl+T , the Open Document panel just pops up instead of switching between tabs.
    And since there is no option to change keyboard shortcuts how can I fix this bug.

12. Add function to add own numbers when using the measuring tool

    I just need the program to create the two arrow heads with the attached line in between with no numbers showing in the middle.

    The basics of the measuring tool should be that it can't know the ratio and the actual length of an object and you have to manually put in the numbers and length you want. You have to say how long the object are in simple text so to speak.

    This helps me in my line of word and speeds up my reports.
    Today i manually put in the arrows and line trough "drawing tool", this takes time when you have 1-10 defects to show what measuring for.
    I take pictures of defects, send them over to my pc and creates a PDF form from that an add text, measuring and arrows and it will speed up my work if you just put in the option to NOT use the numbers the program gets when measuring but instead use the ones i have on paper.

13. Disable the information when a user has always two active logons

    Hi,

    we use free seating and we have a Cirix environment. Our users complains about the information, that they have to log out from a session when they want open the next open. Why is it the job f the user to do this, Adobe has the information and can disconnect every connection automatically. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED:

16. Bug in signature validation when annotations are used

    Bugreport:
    When adding an annotation (without appearance) and afterwards signing it, adobe reader/acrobat reports that the document has been changed afterwards when validating the signature. This is however not the case. The PDF Viewer basically thinks "ah there is an annotation missing thus i am adding one. Ah and surprise, surprise the document was changed now (by me and in memory) but still I report it..." However the actual state of the document is, that there was no change afterwards.
    This bug has been described on several mailinglists (itext, stackoverflow etc) in the past, too.

17. Document Name should be unique to each file name

    I use this produce daily. Love split function - makes processing more efficient.
    The most recent update took away the feature to have more than 1 document open at a time. This has caused a tremendous slow down with processing.
    To get around this, I combine the pdfs, delete the bookmarks, create a new bookmark for each document, then use the split feature under organize pages. This is more work than it should be.
    Please fix this a.s.a.p.

    The PDF file is ENR 4.4 NAME-CODE DESIGNATORS FOR SIGNIFICANT POINTS EGENR44en2019-05-23.pdf (attached)
    The XLSX file is ENR 4.4 NAME-CODE DESIGNATORS FOR SIGNIFICANT POINTS EGENR44en2019-05-23.xlsx (attached)
    The PDF file is a table with 4 columns and approx 50 data rows per page for a total of approx 950 rows.
    Both files can be navigated by looking at the unique key which is the first column of each data row.
    There are two problems with the conversion.
    (1) Some of the PDF page headers are not exported.
    Look below the data row with key ARNUN - the page headers that should follow are missing only the column headers are present.
    Compare that with the data row BEDEK which is followed by both page headers and column headers.
    
    (2) The PDF has a second column of geodetic data.
    Most of the XLSX keeps the data (correctly) as a single column but some rows split the data into separate latitude/longitude columns.
    Look at the page of data rows CALDA to DOLAS - the geodetic data is split into separate latitude/longitude columns.
    Compare that with the page of data rows ABAPO to ARNUN where the geodetic data remains a single column - and this is true for most pages.

19. Win10 Fatal Error: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE Server

    I'm using Adobe Acrobat X Pro on Windows 10 and I've received an error saying Acrobat Failed to connect to a DDE Server.

    My co-workers are using the same program but they don't encounter this error. For a year now, this happens occasionally.

    What should I do? Adobe Acrobat is an absolute necessity to my work.
