  2. Clone and brush tools zigzag across screen when I try to use them

    When I try to use the clone stamp or brush tool, it automatically starts doing a zigzag pattern all over my PDF, not where I had indicated for it to go.

  3. Acrobat automatically jumps into OCR. I do not want OCR. I know the un-OCR'd image is in there. I need to retrieve it.

    I need to retrieve an un-OCR'd image of a (48 page) file. I know it's in there because it pops up every time I open the file and the system automatically goes through the OCR process then allows me only to save the post-OCR'd file. I click on the OCR turn off but, as I open the file, it clicks itself back to OCR land. This is very frustrating.

  4. edit

    Click Edit and the first thing that occurs, Rotate/Skew. Can this be disabled? 99.9999999% of the time I just want to add or edit text. Instead I have to wait for R&S to complete, then UNDO R&S just so I can get to edit text. Huge waste of time.

  6. QR Code from Word - DisplayBarcode Function into PDF

    Microsoft has enhanced the Mergefield Library with the DisplayBarcode Function. This Function creates dynamic Barcodes or QR Codes with MS Word.
    As of September 2022 ebanking will switch to QR Code Payment.
    Therfore I woul need to create Bills with QR Code and send them as PDF to customers. If I save the Word documet as PDF File it works perfect . See attachment, if I use the Adobe AddIn to generate the serial mailing und just save tem on a foder it does not work....

    Since the last update (21.011.20039), I can't print in pdf from some old software that were made to run on win xp but I can print in pdf with no issue if I print from Excel for example.

  8. Cloud documents did not sync all comments across devices

    I had started adding comments to a long form document in Acrobat DC on Windows desktop and saved the document to my Document Cloud. Everything appeared to have synced.

    Later, I accessed the same document on my Chromebook using the Acrobat app (logged into my account). The comments WERE synced and I proceeded as expected, and added more comments.

    Another day, I reopened the document back on my Windows desktop machine and I believe all of the comments thus far had been synced. I proceeded through the document and continued adding more comments. Each time the document was saved, it…

  10. Notification of download for files uploaded via Acrobat Upload feature

    We are a print and packaging company and use the Acrobat Upload feature in Outlook when sending proofs - It is awesome and saves a huge amount of time. Now I have been wanting to speed up the "Approval" time by contacting our clients which we send these links to, however I do not want to nag them thus I was thinking that if there was a download notification which gets sent once the client has downloaded the file - then we cold follow up as we know that they have downloaded the file but not approved it yet.

  13. Disable search look ahead while typing

    I work in a regulatory environment and searching PDFs is increasingly important to find information quickly. Many of the PDFs are large, in the order or 200 pages or more.

    In the current software, Adobe starts to look ahead after 2 or 3 characters are typed. This probably makes sense for a document that is say 10 pages long. But in a 200 page document it stalls the PC and messes up the search, for example if I'm searching for "thermometer" the PC gets stuck collecting all the words "the", "there", and anything else starting with "th" or "the".   14. Adding audio file to PDF with Adobe Pro DC (Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.1)

    Hello, I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a recent iMac running OS Catalina version 10.15.1. I'd like to embed a simple and short Audio file. I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat PRO DC from the cloud. I tried recording a note, that did not work out all. Then I recorded an audio file in Garageband and saved it as an .aif file (I saved it as an .aif file because none of the other formats would load up) and this prerecorded .aif file uploaded from my hard disc into my cursor successfully (I can actually play…

  15. No good, easy to use highlighting tools available.

    As a user I want to quickly underline or highlight some text. That currently is painful (or I have not figured out how to do this, in that case it is not intuitive). I dont want to go into editing mode with the risk of editing every single element on the page, accidently move the text block etc. Just want to use my pen to quickly select and edit a chunk of text.

    See Foxit Mobile (they have done a great job, also with dark mode) however, the project is discontinued.

  16. Resizing the auto stamp and saving it as my default size

    My job requires that I use the auto stamp to bubble all the features on my prints. As this could be any number of features I find the auto stamp very helpful. The only problem is that the stamp is to large for the area I have to place it. This means that I have to spend a lot of time resizing them manually. If I could set a certain size, even if I had to do it for each print, it would make my job quicker and easier. As a Quality Inspector I need to use my time better.

  17. Added images are not allowed to move or re-size while editing PDF

    Hello,
    When I add some files with the PNG extension to a new PDF file which is being edited, image frame and its catch points are available but I can not move or re-size them. This issue was happening also Reader DC stamping tools. Could you please check it?

  18. Acrobat blocks after start for 60 seconds

    Acrobat Pro DC 32 Bit, 2021.007.20099
    - The program blocks for approx. 60 seconds after it has started. No functions are then possible. At the top of the program bar, Windows reports: "No response". After the 60 seconds have elapsed, the program reacts normally.
    - Originally existing zoom functions are no longer available: Ctrl + / Ctrl - / Ctrl 0 (Zero) do not work

    Form field propertied incudes only tabs for General, Appearance, Position, and Options. I found no More selection on right as stated in answers to this problem.
