1. Bookmarks are opening to the page after the set destination. Action item set correctly

   I am often having an issue of bookmarks going to the page after the set destination. I have checked the bookmark properties and they are correct.

   The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

4. Bug - Encryption can be Removed from a PDF by Printing to PDF

   There is a bug in Acrobat Pro DC that allows people to print encrypted secure pdf files to pdf, and the new pdf that is produced has no security or encryption.

   After creating a pdf from a Word doc, I secure it with certificate or password security using a policy. Under Permissions for the policy, I chose Printing Allowed: High Resolution and Changes Allowed: None. I also uncheck enable text access for screen readers. I save the pdf and close it. I then reopen the pdf and check Document Properties, which state that printing in Allowed and everything else is Not Allowed. I then Print to PDF, and it prints a perfect PDF file with no encryption or security. I can then go to edit PDF and am able to edit all text. Occasionally it does not print and gives me a message stating that the secure pdf cannot be re-distilled, but when I try again it will print a new pdf with no security or encryption. I have tested this on about 25 PDF files and continue to get the same result. I created most of the secure pdf files myself with Acrobat DC Pro minutes before I testing the Print to PDF function. I also tested files that were created with Acrobat XI Pro 5 years ago and got the same result. I then found two secure pdf files on the internet, tested those, and got the same result. I have been using Acrobat Pro software for about 11 years (Acrobat Pro 9, X, and XI). In this past, it was not possible to remove encryption by printing to PDF, so I am assuming that this is a bug.

   I have tested this on two operating systems - Windows 7 and 9.

6. Unable to print 11x17 files

   Unable to print 11x17 pages with construction drawings on them in adobe standard. File never makes it to the printer queue and the transfer bar never makes it beyond 0%. No error messages occur. file simply vanishes

7. Turn Grid on/off with CMD+G instead of CMD+U

   I had somehow turned the Grid on. I love keyboard shortcuts, so I tried "CMD+G" and nothing happened. "CMD+R" turns the ruler on/off. So I went through the view nav, and found that the key command for turning the Grid on/off is "CMD+U" .... why is it "U" and not "G"? G would make the most sense because it's a Grid. There's not even the letter "U" in the word Grid.

8. Stop adding extra steps to simply processes

   Stop adding extra steps that add nothing and frequently crash the whole program.

   Save As -> Folder dialogue box. That's worked for years, why add "Recent Folders" to this process, when the "recent folders" just open the same folder dialogue box that's always been used! It's useless, and it crashes ALL THE TIME which means I can't change the name of my file.

   "Fill & Sign" -> Filling and signing. Why do we need "Who needs to sign first?" What does it matter! Useless.

   Maybe if you take out these useless steps the program won't be a massive memory hog and CRASH ALL THE TIME

10. Adding an upgrade-able title based on the .pdf saved title

    To Whom it may concern for future developments,

    In many cases .pdfs being saved have to be changed manually from #.pdf or untitled.pdf to a specific sometimes longer saved document names.
    Thus far there isn't a way to insert the existing title into a header or footer and have it upgrade automatically (or copied into the header or footer upon printing or opening and saving or transferring). It would safe countless hours having to manually changing the title. I have 1500-2500+ pages I have to upgrade at least twice when changing the titles of the saved .pdf documents. This is multiplied when having to manually change the document name within the saved .pdf. Manually changing these are extremely time consuming, but still quicker than having to print, change, scan, and save.

    Another alternative to correcting the titles manually are to have the title be a printable link (containing only the title within the folder), which can be movably positioned and have easy editable functions such as highlighting or color options (other than blue) which like to the title page. Having the ability to turn off a link without any action would allow for this also (properly labeled).
    Having the ability to add other links or multi-links to other file names would also greatly assist the in reducing manual manipulation of one or multiple documents needing to be changed within a single or multiple document change.

    Also having the ability to access properties through multiple means would be nice with Adobe. I've worked with AutoCAD for over 20 years and find the multiple avenues to access specific items or to cycle through using the mouse or deselect to be wonderful and time saving advantages missing from adobe tools. Maybe it is just me being too familiar to AutoCAD which shies me away from using Adobe as much.

11. Search is grouping results so that "next" button does not work as expected.

    This does not happen on all documents, but it does on many. I can email a document to you privately if needed.

    When using search, the results are grouped so that when clicking the "next" button to move to the next result, it instead moves to the next group of results. This also happens in the full advanced search (see screen shot). Match counts are incorrect and it's easy to miss matches when using the simple search to move through matches. We need the "next" button to take us to the next instance of the search term and not the next group.

    I believe that this is happening due to the way the text is stored in the PDF, but regardless we need to be able to move between individual results and not groupings of results.

12. BUG: Print selected pages radio button prints all by default instead of Page 1 and Page 2

    BUG: Default page range still prints all pages. "Page 1 - Page 2" selected will still print all 400 pages of a document, and can't be cancelled. Causes major problems. If you click the page range radio button and erase "Page 1 - Page 2" and replace with "1-2" it will print those two pages. This is in Adobe Reader.

    Adobe Acrobat has a similar issue: When I click the radio button by the
    "pages" bar under Pages to Print, it does not automatically change the

13. Bug report: Pro V 2019.012.20035 Can't delete files that have been created from another windows program using the print to acrobat pdf

    When using a windows application (e.g MS Word 2013) to print to pdf using the Acrobat print to pdf driver, the resulting file cannot be deleted. It says that the file is being used by Adobe acrobat. Even after the program is closed, the error remains. A reboot does not clear the error, i.e. after reboot, you are still unable to delete the file. The only way to delete this file is to enter the task manager and kill the acrobat process. Win 10 1809

14. acrodist.exe - Entry Point Not Found

    The error suddenly appears in my Windows PC. My Adobe Acrobat DC is working well. But, i think Adobe Acrobat Distiller DC made the error.

    It say : " The procedure entry point _DistBeginFileJob@20 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrodist.exe "

    Every i click the OK button, it appears soon. How to fix this?

15. Accessibility: Comments not being read by JAWS & NVDA (PowerPoint Speaker Notes)

    Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017: I made an accessible PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes. I Saved As PDF and when prompted, I said yes to converting speaker notes to annotations.

    My blind 508C Consultant read the PDF with Jaws & NVDA & Adobe's built in screen reader. He was able to successfully navigate the entire document, EXCEPT Comments/Annotations. When the screen reader hit the Annotation Bubble it announced "Text" and nothing else.

    I asked him to search for a phrase that existed only in a comment and no where else in the document. He couldn't find it.

    As a government entity we post a LOT of reports for public viewing. Many of these reports were created in PowerPoint and contain a lot of charts and graphs that require additional explanations. We use speaker notes for that purpose. We need converted Comments/Annotations to be screen readable.

    We also publish many maps in PDF format. We would like to put a comment in the upper left corner that provides a phone number where someone with visual disabilities can call for assistance. Now we are finding out this comment is not visible to screen readers.

17. "tagged annotations

    Fix "Tagged Annotations - Failed" bug

    Hyperlinked content is marked as "Tagged Annotations - Failed" in Accessibility checker even when they are properly inserted (whether manually in Acrobat Pro or in InDesign, etc.

    Adobe Support confirmed that InDesign included the hyperlinks properly and confirmed that the issue in Acrobat is indeed a bug.

    Created document in InDesign with and without hyperlinks. Exported to PDF.

    PDF with hyperlinks produced Tagged Annotations - Failed
    PDF without hyperlinks did not show failure UNTIL I added the hyperlinks manually in Acrobat, then they failed as well

    Tagged Annotations needs a "Fix" option AND needs to correctly recognize correct hyperlinks

19. Window to close automatically after clicking the 'Attach to Email' button

    Basically, as the title explains, I would like the window in Acrobat to close after clicking 'Attach to Email'.

    Reason: E.g. After exporting a document in Indesign, which then opens in Acrobat, I click 'Attach to Email' email window opens with your attachment, I send proof and go back to Indesign to start the next job if I do the same process and forget to close the 'How do you share file' window it errors which is really annoying! Please fix I'm sure it never used to do that.
