Now, when users try to fill and sign the form using Reader, they get an error message reading, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." They are unable to save a signature onto the document.
   Not the most helpful of error messages. How can I avoid users getting this error?

2. The "Set Destination" option in the Destinations context menu does not appear to behave correctly.

   If I create a brand new destination within a PDF using Acrobat Pro DC, then host that PDF on a web server, and then open up and navigate to that Destination via a web browser via the #[Destination] or #nameddest=[Destination] anchor tag (it makes no difference which browser), it will properly take me to that destination. However, if I then change that Destination in Acrobat Pro DC by moving to a different location in the document, and using the "Set Destination" option in the context menu of the Destination, and then rehost the PDF on a web server and attempt to navigate to the Destination again, it will not properly navigate to the new Destination location. I have to delete the Destination and recreate it for the Destination to be properly navigated to within the browser.

   Interestingly, within Acrobat Pro DC, it will navigate to the new Destination location if I double-click the Destination. But the browser will not. The browser will open up the first page in the PDF. It does not seem to recognize when a Destination's location has changed. The Destination has to be deleted and recreated.

   It seems as if the behavior behind the "Set Destination" option in the Destination's context menu does not reflect all of the same behavior behind creating a brand new destination; like perhaps there's a property that should be getting set that isn't, which might be specific to browser plug-in behavior but not the native behavior within Adobe Pro DC.

4. quick tools disappear

   Fix Disappearing Quick Tools
   I see where others had this issue in previous versions, but I'm having the same issue for months now with my Windows 10 64bit - Adobe Acrobat DC 21.007.20099. I can add the Quick Tools I want to the toolbar, but then after some random number of open and closings of the program, they all disappear and I have to set them up again. I've uninstalled, deleted all Adobe program files, reinstalled with the same result. No add-ins for Adobe.

5. BUG : White outline around images with transparency

   With Microsoft WORD (2016) & PDFMaker:

   With an Image with Transparency: .PNG File. Placed against a dark background (paper colour) to show the white outline that occurs around the image.

   Occurs in .PDF files when No image resolution downsampling is set, and image types are stored in NON-lossy image formats, e.g. NONE, ZIP, JPEG 2000 (LossLESS)

   It occurs at all zoom levels. But disappears when zoomed in to the maximum zoom level.

   When the resultant PDF File is later, either DownSampled or LOSSY Image comprressed (Using PDF Optimiser), the white Outlines become part of the Image and are much more Visible.

6. BUG: Acrobat PDFMaker - Microsoft Word - Interface

   In Microsoft Word (2016).

   When Acrobat -> Preferences menu (ribbon bar) item is selected for the FIRST time since Word starts, the dialog window for PDFMaker does not display the SETTINGS tab.

8. BUG: Security policies with password included fail to save if password contains a space

   I'm trying to create a fillable-form for a prescription that will create a password-protected file on save (for at least the illusion of security) and I've been unable to do it for days now:

   Whenever I tried to create a security policy, no matter what combination of options I chose... I'd get to the review step, click finish and the whole security policies option window would close completely.

   Eventually I decided to try not including a password, and it saved fine and took me back to the list of security policies, where I could now see my new entry.

   This went on for a while until I decided to try a password without any spaces in it, and it finally worked.

9. Reading Order for Jump to Links

   My team is trying to remediate a lengthy PDF (200+ pages). In attempting to use the standard accessibility tools in PDF, we've been unable to add certain headers and all jump-to links to the reading order. For the jump-to links (appear as navigation buttons on every page to the user), they register in the correct tab order, but not reading order. We're unable to gain 508 compliance status without these items fixed. When we try to add the reading order number doesn't stay or, more often, Adobe Acrobat completely shuts down. We've tried working on it in InDesign, but nothing has helped with the remediation of the exported PDF. Any workaround or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

10. Units Selector in Object Inspector

    For European users, a units selector is needed for the Object Inspector in the Output Preview panel so dpi can be checked. Otherwise, you have to go to Preferences, switch from Millimetres to Inches, then switch back to Millimetres again.

11. Automatic Certificates Creation

    Good afternoon. I need to create hundreds of 1 page certificates. In MS Word I use the Mail Merge to include the participants names and signature. I convert all of them into a pdf file. With Adobe Acrobat Pro, I bookmark every certificate with the participants name. Before the name, I need to write "Certificate" so the name of each pdf would be for example "Certificate Joe Doe". I do this manually in the bookmark part. Then, in the Organize Pages part, I split them by Top Level Bookmarks. In Output Options, I wish there would be an option under "File Labeling/File Name/Use bookmark names for file names" to allow to add label name (for example in this case "Certificate") BEFORE the name of the bookmark. Is there a way that Adobe recognizes automatically the name of each certificate, since all of themare located in the same row of the document? that way I don`t need to do the bookmarks one by one? Also, once all of the certificates are named and splitted into a one page, I need to protect the signature (without a password) just with the Certification used by Adobe CDS CA, Adobe Sign. Is there a way to do this in bulk?. Shadow all certificates and do this operation? That way we could save a lot of time for a simple task. Thank you.

12. Labelling (Custom tagging) PDFs

    Starring PDFs is great but, you usually star PDFs that you use ALL the time and that you want to have displayed at the top of the Home tab. But what if you don't want to have them displayed up at the top but you want to have them in a place where the rest of the similar PDFs are, that's where a very useful feature called "Labeling" that would be great to have in Acrobat comes into play. It would be the ability to make custom labels (e.g. School or Work, or ProjectX) for PDFs so you could have them all in one place. I'm currently working on a university project and there are lots of PDFs I use frequently so if I could add a custom label for them all, let's say, "Current project" and then have access to them instead of having to scroll through the recently used PDFs on the Home tab. I've attached the picture of how I thought it could be added.

16. Ability to Save As PDF from within Acrobat Pro

    Acrobat Pro Feature Request

    I have a document that is approximately 6x3". I need to output this document to two different PDF deliverable files:

    1) at the 6"x3" size, for use on a tiny screen

    and

    2) on 8.5"x11" size with 3 tiny pages per sheet, for efficient printout on standard paper or viewing in PDF

    I save my source content to the 6"x3" size and get a beautiful PDF file. Deliverable 1 looks great.

    But, I cannot save my source content to PDF with multiple pages per sheet (from Word).

    Also, from Acrobat, I cannot save the output 1 file to a PDF with 3 pages per sheet to get high-quality deliverable #2 files.

    The workaround I'm currently using (which results in poor image quality, mostly dumb/broken PDF file, and virtually no control over settings): I PRINT the option 1 deliverable to the Printer "Adobe PDF", under Page Sizing & Handling, select Multiple > Pages per sheet: Custom, 1 by 3; Page order: Vertical. Refer to the attached screenshot of my printer settings and the print preview for what I'm trying to achieve.

    The result is a pretty ugly, useless PDF file. But, it's printable on normal office paper (double-sided if you like). A Save As option that allows alignment of multiple pages on one PDF page would solve the whole messy problem and save steps, too. (Happy customers and document readers!)

    Summary: I would like to be able to Save As PDF from within Acrobat Pro and have the option of laying out the pages as shown in my work-around screenshot. This way, the image quality, hyperlinks, etc. will work and be optimal.

17. End a Shared Review, writer still has access to comments or can save them offline

    I want the ability to end a "Shared Review" (to prevent new comments from coming in) yet still have access to the comments after I've closed a review to additional comments.

    Currently, I have to leave Shared Reviews open until I've cleaned up/followed-up on each of the comments reviewers have left or else the comments disappear.

    I don't like the options for saving/printing/outputting the comments to paper or files; they're not nearly as useful as having it all right in Acrobat Pro with the tools I normally use.

    Please add the feature to close a shared review to new comments from reviewers but leave it available to the tech writer on the Cloud.

    Even better, for traceability/accountability purposes (who changed what and when and why), provide a way to save the file off the Adobe Cloud yet retain the comments for additional editing and clean-up work by the tech writer after the review period ends.

18. suddenly shutting down while doing ocr

    im using acrobat dc pro on windows 11 64bit, and the program suddenly shuts down with no error message while doing korean ocr. (with the same document, english ocr works well.) i've reinstalled windows and acrobat, deleted all fonts, but the problem occurs again.

    (i think windows 11 is not the reason because there was same problem on windows 10)
