  2. Comment Text too small.

    When I double click the comment box in the right column so that I can select it (to copy and paste) the text becomes so tiny that it's illegible.

  3. Default Save As

    DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
    The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

    If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

    Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
    Let me know if that solves your concern.

    Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  4. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC BUG

    There is a bug in this software that does not allow you to save the document. A blank window pops up and nothing shows, i.e. where the file could be saved. Only after several attempts does the "save as" window fully show up. What is the solution for this bug?

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
    Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using
    Also some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

  5. You need to bring back the check box.

    When you have 500+ comments/corrections its time consuming to have to right click to mark each one. It was MUCH better before when you just marked the box.

    In the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use. As part of that, the checkbox is moved to the right click menu of the comment.

    Open comment>Right Click>Add Checkmark

    Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark.
    We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and will consider adding the check mark by default for future updates of Acrobat DC.

    However there is one workaround to make the checkbox appear in one step by using the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + K .

  6. Adobe default prints to pdf instead of printer.

    Allow users to set the default printer to an actual physical printer rather than having Adobe continually default to "printing" to pdf. Multiple times a day I have to "re-set" my printer preference from "PDF" to the physical printer. After a few hundred times, I find myself deeply irritated with Adobe engineers and designers.

  7. why can i not just highlight something? Why am I prompted to fill out a comment as well?

    The older versions I could just highlight something, now I am forced to highlight and then enter a comment or manually close the comment box. Also, why can I not pin the comment features (box, arrows, text) to the task bar like you use to be able to?

  9. Ability to rename a scanned document while in Preview Pane

    I would love the ability to rename my scanned documents while viewing them in Preview Pane in my Explorer folders. I currently need to preview them, remember detailed information, close that view, then rename the document -- hoping I remembered my information correctly. It would save a TON of time and make us more efficient. Thanks!

  10. Sending unsaved PDFs

    You've removed the ability to directly email a PDF from adobe without saving. That needs to come back. I don't always have the ability to save a file before emailing. Microsoft does it.
    And when I tried to save, it didn't save, and added about 10 steps to save it.

    Fix it please

  11. Crash opening Output Preview window

    Crash when trying to open the Output Preview window in Acrobat.

    Architecture: x86_64
    Build: 19.8.20074.305283

    This is since the latest update, sometimes the preview window does open, but mostly the complete program crashes. This happend with several documents.

  12. Email from PDF

    Why can't we email from the PDF like we use to. If I pull up a PDF and want to email it to another person it does NOT give me access to our Outlook email contacts to select a person to choose from. It only give me our internal email addresses. No Bueno. What am I doing incorrectly if it is still an option.

  14. Sending PDF from Adobe

    Bring back: File, Send.

    The new Share File, then you have to select the 'Send at Attachment' and wait for ages for an Outlook Mail box to open is ridiculous and time consuming.

    Also, if you make any changes to the PDF, ie 'highlight' a word, then you MUST save the file BEFORE you send it. Again, ridiculous. We DON'T always want to save the change.

    If it aint broke...

    It would be so cool to have LaTeX support in the comments. So that people can jot mathematical notes for themselves while reading.

  16. single user disc and license

    Involuntarily upgraded to W10. Now, my older Acrobat versions no longer work.

    Current Win version: 10.0.17134 Build 17134

    Am now retired but MANY pdf files/documents from years past that are no longer accessible.

    Need a single user disc and license for my single computer. NOT CLOUD -- internet not stable.

    Sharing, collaboration, team stuff totally not needed.

    Too old for school discount and my military access ended with retirement.

    Is there a simple solution, relatively inexpensive solution for those of us who still need your product?

    Since the update this past week (October 2018), Adobe has made it harder to find things that used to be easy to find, and now it takes forever or completely lags when I try to find whether I have sent something to someone using the interface on my desktop for the old Send and Track feature (which apparently is now called 'Share' another renaming that threw me off this week).   18. Fit page to window

    New update moved the fit page to window button to a hidden drop out floating toolbar. I use this tool and family of tools every time I am in Acrobat I should have the option of making always visible is the top docked quick tools toolbar like it was in the previous versions just the other day.

  19. Bug in Output Intents after upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20071

    Hello,

    a few days ago, Acrobat Pro DC was upgraded to version 2019 a

    today I found that it shows the wrong CMYK values for Output Intents.

    To calibrate RIP, I have created in Adobe Illustrator PDF-X4 file with CMYK values. I checked out that Acrobat showed me poor CMYK values.

  20. Acrobat text-edit comment functionality improvements needed

    Three problems with the new update on Acrobat, all relating to text-edit comments. 1) Underline, strikethrough, replace, and insert are now represented only by arcane symbols in the comment pane. Before, there used to be the actual words "underline", "strikethrough", "replace", or "insert." Such text labels are gone, and they don't even appear with a mouse-over. This is awful. I work a lot with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat comment functionality, and this only makes it less clear for them.
