Send as Attachment does not work on new system
I tried to send a PDF as an attachment - which the old system did fine - but when I hit continue, nothing happens.

Add option to print using system dialog by default
In my office we have user codes we use when printing. The code is saved into the print driver of each user. When printing from Adobe we are forced to click "properties" before every print, even if we don't need to make any setting changes. If you do not click properties, the user code embedded into the driver is not sent with the print job and it fails with an authentication error at the printer. I've been using Acrobat for a number of years and I HATE the new revision!
Seems I'm not alone. I guess if Adobe is bent on forcing this down our throats we'll have to look for alternatives.

Highlight Tool should allow override to text recognition
Your Highlight Tool tries to be smart by automatically switching from freehand to text select when the document recognizes text. There should be a keyboard shortcut (i.e., hold down Ctrl while using the highlighter tool) to override this and use freehand. Text recognition is buggy and leads to weird performance when trying to highlight recognized text.

Loop video
When inserting a video with Acrobat Pro, allow an option to have the video loop (by default when played).
The video players should also be updated with a loop option that can be changed from the default by the PDF reader.5 votes -
copy and paste
I have a problem, I have PDF pro and I have edited a pdf document, and saved it, then when I copy and try to paste to another pdf document it will not carry over my edited additions to the document. but when i go back and see my edited document my additions are still there, it just wont copy an paste the complete new document

I have PDF's open and they work fine until I undock my laptop. The tab I have active will continue to work sometimes, but when i click to the other tabs I see a blank form and the error given for the title. adobe acrobat pro dc continous release verison 2018.011.20058

Open multiple files from Recent list at the same time
When opening Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, it shows you a list of Recent Files that you have used; however, you can only open one of these files at a time. Similar to the ability to select multiples files in other programs of holding the Control key to select more than one file or holding the Shift key to select a range of files, it would be useful (and a standard Windows function) to be able to select multiple files and open them all at the same time. Side Tools should be default & Menu Dropdown should show options without having to click on open
Return Menu Tools to the Side where they belong. They are next to useless now. Put actual menu items under the menu drop-downs instead of extra steps to open what should be a drop-down. Sorry - I hate the new look. Hate it. I should not have to navigate away from a page I'm working on in order to get to tools. I should not have to spend half an hour to discover you apparently no longer have this option. Security tools, if still in existence, should be obvious.

I need to make transparent buttons with HTML links in most of my documents. Someone forgot to program this in the DC version.

Acrobat DC closing automatically
Acrobat DC began closing automatically, again. This is two weeks after I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled. Whether I open a pdf file from the Explorer window or open Acrobat and then select the file to open, the program closes automatically 10-15 seconds after it opens. After reinstalling the program, the problem continues. I have already tried the suggestions from an earlier post (updating the software from the Help menu, repairing the software from the Help menu and running Acrobat distiller). It does seem to be checking my registration status, but does not remain open long enough for me…

The measure tool causes the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC app to constantly crash, I have used the tool on two separate brand new laptops, yet the problem happens on both. Is there a problem with the tool?

Comment Windows: Display Sticky Note Color
In Acrobat 9, the "comments" window displayed the COLOR of the corresponding sticky note (there was a small sticky note icon in each window that showed the color of the corresponding note).It was possible to quickly view and navigate to related pages/sections of the PDF even if the page was not directly viewable; I could quickly scan for all comments that were associated with a RED sticky note, or a BLUE one, etc, by simply scrolling through the comments -- it was not necessary to view the actual page of the PDF to check the color of the sticky note.

Rotate Clockwise Save
Hello Adobe Engineering Team,
In prior versions of Adobe, when I opened a document and right-clicked on it to rotate it to the proper orientation, the Save option appeared to allow me to quickly save the changed orientation.
Latest version of Adobe requires me to click on Organize pages feature, select the pages, click the rotate buttons to orient the pages correctly, then Save option appears.
There are a lot more steps needed in latest version of Adobe to quickly change a PDF document's orientation than in prior versions.
It would be nice to allow users to save a PDF…

An ocean of old texts are in Latin. Many of these need OCR. Support on this would be most welcome as they are often the subject of academic work.

Word count for ctrl+f word searches
I would like there to be a word count for a ctrl+f word search that appears in the search box next to the word, much like in Google Chrome. You can see the comparison in my screen shots. The ctrl+shift+f feature is too cumbersome.

Edits that I am making to pdf not saving even after I save as
I am making simple changes (such as rotating the document) and then saving as to try to lock the edits into the document, but the saved as doc is rejecting these changes.

You are using Rotate View option which rotates the view of the document.
You need to use Rotate Pages option present in Organize Pages app or Page Thumbnail pane. -
