  1. Save as Adobe PDF in word does not convert graphs or alt-texts on images

    When exporting from word using the option "Save as Adobe PDF" none of my alt-texts on my images follows to the PDF and all graphs are marked as artefacts.

    Artefacts are also still present in the order-tab wich makes remediation for accessibility more dificult.

  5. MS Windows 11 not able to print to "Adobe PDF" via system dialog

    Steps to reproduce issue:
    -turn on MS Windows 11 machine
    -install Adobe Acrobat 
    -open MS Word 365
    -open existing document
    -file menu -> print
    -select "adobe pdf" for printer
    -print
    -select filename
    -wait for file to be generated
    -ERROR file generated instead of pdf

    ENVIRONMENT
    OS - MS Windows 11 updated today 11.9.2024 "2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044380)"

    EXPECTED RESULT:
    a generatated pdf file

    OBSERVED RESULT:
    a text file was generated instead, this is the contents:

  7. Please make the free option stop popping up automatically

    Every time I create a PDF, the free Adobe trial pops up with the PDF, when I really just want the one that pops up automatically from my Google page. I do not want to sign up for Adobe, and this has been happening for a year. I have to close the unwanted PDF each time and it gets time consuming and frustrating when I'm having to close hundreds a week. Please make an option to decline the free trial so that I can get on with my life.

  9. Text box alignment and size

    Acrobat is soo frustrating. Everytime we enter text is a space the text is a different size. Please add multi-select capabilities with options to make the text boxes align on the bottom and make the same text size... .OMG. Please fix. This is been awful and still no fix. It makes people and business look amaturish.

  10. Comments Pane

    I have tried multiple times to uncheck the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" box and clicking "OK". When I reopen my preferences, the box is checked again. I don't want that pane automatically opening. I have tried closing out of Adobe completely afterwards and even restarting my PC. What am I missing?

  12. [Proofreading] The comment cannot start or end with space or any other whitespace character

    Hello,

    I'm working as a proofreader and I have used a lot the commenting feature to mark errors and point potential improvements to typesetter working in InDesign.

    Especially useful was the feature of typing leading or trailing spaces in comments (e.g., in Add Text or Replace Text features) such that typesetter in InDesign can automatically apply my remarks to the book.

    Recently, however, I've discovered that Adobe removed the possibility of leading/trailing whitespaces - see this page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html (and in an attached image).

  13. UI CHANGES TO BE OPTIONAL

    HAD MENUS SET FOR EASILY DOING WHAT I DO. AFTER THE UI CHANGE I HAVE TO SPEND A DAY RESETTING THE MENUS. HIGHLY INEFFICIENT AND A WASTE OF MY TIME. DO NOT THINK THAT ONCE I RESET MY MENUS PERFORMANCE WILL BE IMPROVED, BECAUSE AFTER THE PREVIOUS UI CHANGE THAT WAS NOT THE CASE!!! FROM THE OTHER FEEDBACKS IT IS OBVIOUS THAT ABOBE DOES NOT CONSIDER THE USER!!

  16. Repeat Field on All Pages

    In the legacy version you could right click on a field and select "repeat field on all pages". This was incredibly helpful for contracts that you need to initial each page of. In the new version that option is no longer available, creating a need to switch to the legacy version everytime you want to send a contract out via Adobe Sign.

  17. <Lbl> accessibility check

    According to the PDF Association Syntax Guide Page 26 (https://pdfa.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/TaggedPDFBestPracticeGuideSyntax.pdf#page=26), and <Lbl> tag should be applied to any labelling text, even if it is inside a caption for a figure or table. However, every time I run the accessibility check in Acrobat Pro on this, it fails it; it appears the check thinks that only LItems should contain an <Lbl> as a child.

    Additionally, I think <Lbl>s should be allowed as the children of Paragraph tags as well, in the case where a single paragraph is labelled but the labelling text is not indicating the start of a…

  18. pdf printer for windows 11 arm

    The Adobe Acrobat PDF printer needs to be updated to work on Windows 11 ARM architecture. It will not currently install as the drivers must be specifically written for the ARM architecture. This means it won't work with any of the new CoPilot PCs using the SnapDragon processors.

  20. pdf tab number

    Have renamed and moved all tab numbers for form to be filled in the correct order, however still encountering errors in the actual document. Section 17 is being prompted as if it were section 14. Is this because the box for data is higher up in the document than the others? Happening across multiple PDFs.
