  1. I used to be able to add text boxes anywhere on an existing PDF form. Now, if the place I want to put a text box is already a text box, it force me to write within that text box and edits it as I type. Like if there's a line in place, my text pushes the line out, instead of sitting on top of the line like it did before. Can you fix this please? Also the program seems much slower now than before.

  2. Please make the Prepare Forms/Fields panel able to increase size side to side. I use long names for the fields and need to see them in whole. I use a wide monitor and don't need to see as much pasteboard when I work fill fields. The Comments panel can stretch side to side and I could really use that ability with the Fields panel.

  3. The DISABLE NEW ACROBAT must be a big flashing buttton on the main start page if you ever do that again. My lawyer will sue. I nearly died. People depend on being able to do work WHEN they need to do it.

  4. I just saw the "new" adobe acrobat reader. Where did the page number that you are currently on go to? I use that all the time to skip to a certain page or just to see what page I am on so I can print a particular set of pages. That is a killer for the new version, I'm using the old version for now.

  5. Before it was possible in Comments mode to simply copy some text and paste it over text you wanted to replace. Now you must right click, select Add Note to Replace Text, then past the required text into the comment section. This takes so much longer. Usability and productivity has been reduced

  6. There is currently not a way to align text vertically within a text field. The only alignment options are left, center or right. I would like to be able to have the text align bottom center or center left.

  11. Why was screen shot removed? The explanation in help is useless.

  12. I am attempting to generate PDFs which are considered accessible using Python.

I am checking their Accessibility in Acrobat and getting what I think spurious warnings with regards to the title tag.

The XML packet before the acrobat "fix" looks like this:

  13. You are referred to the American Society for Indexing Digital Publications Special Interest Group – Embedded Indexing Resources.

See the Hyperlinks Report under Compatibility observations.
The request is for ranges and range names to be accessible from Acrobat readers enabling users to create hyperlinks to named ranges.

  14. This must be a bug! If I have to close All Tools EVERY TIME I OPEN A NEW PDF the rest of my life, I WILL GO INSANE. You HAVE to allow us to hide this if we don't want it, it covers so much of my screen and is SO UNNECESSARY. You must hate your customers :( Or if this option is in preferences and I didn't see it, please tell me, and you'll have my thanks!

  15. Users will have admin rights to run usage reports and don't need access to add/remove licenses.

Essentially a read-only with the option to run reports.

  16. Even though Adobe has supported native Apple Silicon since Sep 2021, every Apple Silicon Mac user has to FIRST install Rosetta 2 BEFORE they can install Acrobat and THEN in the Acrobat preferences set Acrobat to run natively. Why?!

Why, after over two years of having Apple Silicon Macs available, can't there just be a native installer that does NOT require Rosetta?

  17. Please let us customize the Keyboard shortcuts. There are so many possibilities with Acrobat and so many shortcuts with pre-setup and confusing key-combinations. Please allow this to be editable.

  18. The major name in Electronic Signatures has the ability to place a field that you can draw in. I would Adobe Sign to add this field type to their platform.

We would like to use this feature as a solution for when multiple people are collaborating on a document in person and allow for people in the room to initial their approval on each line item rather than have to email the document to each user to review separately.

  20. Allow users to remove these buttons as they take up quite a lot of space. ADOBE continues to worsen the user experience using this PAID app, by forcing icons in valuable real-estate.
