Adobe reports Printer in offline mode and wont print
Adobe will not print on my HP Designjet T520 as is says the printer is offline. Drivers and Adobe are up to date. Foxit PDF reader has no issues printing my files but lacks some things i like about adobe. I think there is an issue with your software to not recognize a printer. I would not be saying this if Foxit or other PDF readers had an issue printing on this printer but adobe is the only one who will not see the printer is online.

Redact > Find Text fails with many documents (e.g. 200) in the search folder
This is my process under Windows 10, Acrobat acrobat DC 2015.00630527
Open any file (a bit silly, but you need that to access the Search Text command dialogue box - without a document the 'Find text' from the Redact toolbar is not greyed out, but nothing happens when you select it. Which in itself is a kind of bug).
Tools > Redact > From Redact toolbar select 'Find text'. A dialogue box opens. Select the folder with 200+ files. Enter the search string, make sure it is a search string that will find a hit in +200 files. Or maybe the number of hits is the issue? In that case I think make sure you have +6000 instances found. Select them all. March checked results for redaction. Target folder: Same folder. Keep original file names. Overwrite existing files. Apply redaction marks. OK.
You will find the Acrobat halts at some point: giving strange messages. Like: ""This document was successfully saved, but an error occurred after saving the document. Please close and open again." (independent if the open document - seebeginning of my explanation- is included for redaction or some random document) " and memory errors.
This error even comes up when you keep redacting small amounts of documents but keep Acrobat open for the next batch. I guess bad memory management on the part of Acrobat. So you have to close Acrobat and reopen Acrobat even when you are working with small batches of documents. This is my process under Windows 10, Acrobat acrobat DC 2015.00630527

Allow more than one adobe User ID to login
Currently, if you have more than one Adobe account (for instance, one for work use and one for personal use), you have to sign out/in of each account before using the application. This process is already daunting, as it just shuts down if you do not already have an account - the only fix I've found is to pretend like you are going to buy the product, at which point you can finally switch the user ID. You then have to log out of one User ID in order to login to the other User ID to use the other product. Doing so logs you out of the previous User ID, so when you use the other product, you have to go through this whole process again.
For instance, the company I work for uses Adobe DC Pro for our work projects, so I have to use the account that they have paid for under the company's account. I also have my own Adobe account for using photoshop for my side-gig of doing freelance work. I need to keep these two accounts separate for tax purposes (as well as maintaining professionalism). But any time I want to use one account or the other, I have to go through the whole process described above to switch users... it gets very frustrating every time.
If we could login to more than one account at a time (somewhat like google), it would fix this problem.

Scrolling preferences window (Windows)
Currently the preferences window is very hard to use and frankly, broken:
You can't scroll with a touchpad.
You can't scroll with a touchscreen.
You can't scroll with a mousewheel.
Scrolling over a combo box changes the setting >:(
Content doesn't scroll when you drag the scrollbar!
The preferences window cannot resize small enough for smaller screens.
Overall: infurating.

Assign shortcut keys to all menus and options
Not only is the DC interface confusing and more time-consuming to use than the old one, but it does not comply with Section 508 of the Americans With Disability Act, which requires that the federal government, in its software procurement process, consider accessibility. Adobe Acrobat does not take into account the needs of users who rely on voice recognition software to accomplish actions that fully abled users accomplish with the mouse. When using voice recognition software, it is quick and easy to dictate a shortcut key or sequence of shortcut keys, but extremely slow, cumbersome and error-prone to get the software to click on a particular location. In the older version of Adobe Acrobat, most of what I did could be accomplished by dictating shortcut keys. In the new version, very few commands can be accomplished with keyboard shortcuts (or even with a series of them, as in Microsoft applications). As a result, I do almost nothing in Acrobat with my voice recognition software. Using the current version exacerbates the repetitive stress injury that I rely on voice recognition software to minimize. For one of many resources explaining that the availability of shortcut keys is an element of Section 508 compliance, see: https://www.justice.gov/crt/software-accessibility-checklist.

Page numbering did not work correctly
When exporting a PDF from Word recently the page numbering got messed up. It should have been 1 of 21, 2 of 21, etc. Instead what I got was 1 of 2, 2 of 3, etc.
I just tried it now on what should be the same Word file with no changes (and no changes to my Options settings) and it correctly numbered the pages.
When this happened earlier I did a Save as Adobe PDF in Word and the page number came out correctly. Word had always displaying the numbering correctly.

Adobe Sensei for Acrobat
Adobe Scan can automatically crop, resize, and reduce distortion on images, producing decent quality PDFs. To do this it uses Adobe Sensei, a form of AI. Given there is currently no way to automate these steps on Acrobat or Photoshop, and so no way to automate these steps on a desktop at all, please could you create a feature to achieve Adobe Scan level automation within Acrobat.

Auto-size the picture when pasting into one document
When pasting pictures/screenshots, the size of the pic is always exceeding the boundary of the paper size, but when you are trying to resize it, Acrobat can auto-fit into the width/height of the picture corresponding to the page size. I recommend resizing the picture in the first place when initially pasting it to the doc, that would save a lot of time.

Share multiple files at one time
Currently only one file can be shared at a time, but it often makes sense to share multiple files. Add the ability to share multiple files with one link.

FIT WIDTH/FIT VISIBLE works one way only with mixed size documents (shrinks pages only)
I often works with mixed size documents. I have document set on Fit Width or Fit Visible and it is at about 80%. Then I hit a page in landscape, and it is still Fit Width or Fit Visible but my view is at about 30%. Then I scroll down to regular portrait, and I am still at Fit Width or Fit Visible but I remain at 30% so I have to MANUALLY adjust it. I usually pick the other of the two - Fit Width or Fit Visible - and I am back at 80%. Can you make Fit Width and Fit Visible adjust BOTH WAYS? So if I work with portrait at 80%, get landscape page and it shrinks to 30%, but when I go back to portrait pages, the view would adjust to 80% again? Presently, Acrobat shrinks pages but DOES NOT go back to bigger pages after that out of size page and that's quite irritating - I have to adjust it manually every single time. Thanks!

Converting MS emails .msg type files to PDF using 'Combine Files' Feature
I would like to suggest .msg file type to be added to the list of supported files for multiple batch conversion to PDF using the 'Combine Files' feature.
I sure many users would fine this feature useful, we receive a lot of documents many of the .msg file type we need to convert into one pdf bundle together with other types.
I'm aware Acrobat has a plugin to support manual conversion of emails from Outlook to PDF, but it would be really beneficial if we could present emails and other supported files to Acrobat to convert as a batch without manually converting.
Many thanks,
Rob.

No way to password protect a PDF from editing BUT allow annotations on mobile devices (Samsung tablet, Ipad etc.)
I need to be able to protect PDFs on my Mac from editing BUT allow annotations. We have tried taking the following steps...
We saved a Word doc as pdf on Mac, uploaded it to Adobe Pro, in 'allow changes' chose commenting, filling in form fields, and signing existing signature fields.
We then sent the protected pdf to various devices.
Recipients were prompted to enter a password in order to annotate on Samsung Tablet and Ipad.
Surely, allowing annotation while protecting the pdf from editing is much in demand these days, in particular in the education field where students are receiving pdf worksheets and wish to write their answers using annotation tools on their mobile devices.

Unmarked annotations - option to tag all at once in Acrobat
When we create documents in InDesign using interactive buttons, there are usually unmarked annotation errors in Acrobat's accessibility checker. This happens when the buttons are on master pages or when they're not included within the Articles panel.
As well as fixing this, it would be really helpful and time-saving to be able to search for all the unmarked annotations using the search function within the Acrobat Tags panel, and tag them all at once, rather than having to find and tag them one by one.
