  3. Live Text Wrap While Adjusting Size of Text Box

    When editing a text box the text does not provide a preview of what it will look like at a certain width with the text wrap. This is a feature Bluebeam has that makes it quick and easy to see how the text box will appear as you adjust the size, saving time.

  4. text properties issue after recent update

    when using the comment tool with text, the text properties appears, if it is changed it disappears and wont come back until I close the tool and reopen the comment tool

    Hi,

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (19.021.20049) containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  5. Autolinks need to recognise URL without www.

    Working for a UK University, we produce pdf.publications for the youth demographic, from prospectuses to course guides. It appears that Adobe is unable to autolink a URL in a pdf. that doesn't contain https:// or www. This is extremely old fashioned and not good practice from a design point of view. In 2020, it is widely accepted that these prefixes are not used, so I would like to requested that the autolink can be programmed in a way which reads these as URLs in a pdf. for example: swansea.ac.uk/research

  6. Errors syncing preferences

    I'm running Acrobat DC as part of Creative Cloud (CC) on several Macs. I use the sync feature to sync Acrobat preferences between all of these computers. I especially rely on the Acrobat preferences being sync'd for things like signatures and custom toolbars arrangement. I recently added two new computers, a MBP and an iMac Pro. When I installed CC and Acrobat DC on the MBP it worked fine. But on the iMac Pro Acrobat preferences sync is broken. The following steps illustrate the problem:

  7. Screen freezes with every change made in the PDF with Quick tools

    Every change made with quick tools or tool bar freezes the PDF, takes 10 seconds and then blink screen once before allowing other changes.

    For example, If I want to highlight a text. I move over it with my cursor and it shows me the highlighted text. The screen freeze for 10 seconds, blinks and only then will it let me scroll down or choose another option or allow another highlight.

  8. Bug (Accessibility): Link and bullet issues after export from InDesign

    I'm having an accessibility issue that may be a bug with Acrobat or InDesign, or a combination of both. I have a single page of show notes for a podcast. Paragraph styles are used, export tagging is set, and order is laid out in the articles pannel. Upon export and listening with the NVDA screen reader, the reading order is correct, but the bulleted list of links is just read as "bullet, bullet, bullet, etc." without the accompanying text, and the links are skipped.     I checked the issue reported by you. I would like to inform you that the bullets and the links tags are not tagged properly as can be seen in Tags panel in Acrobat.

  9. Full Screen PDF reader/more comprehensive PDF reading capabilities

    I know many people who opt out of using Adobe Acrobat for other PDF reading applications (such as PDF Expert). They do this because they are either students or scholars who read PDF's daily and find the reading experience better away from Adobe. I am a faithful Adobe products user and do not want to spend on a different PDF reader, otherwise I would have months ago. Adobe ought to make a designated section for reading PDF's, and enable a full screen, double-page option where users can have a pleasing and comprehensive experience while engaging with their PDF's.

  10. Sending document to multiple people for individual signature

    It would be great to send one document that needs an individual signature to multiple people at one time; receiving each copy individually once person has signed document.

    eg: Send ABC form to Bill.Cool@gmail.com, Sandra.Cool@gmail.com, Tricia.Cool@gmail.com as group email.
    Each person receives their own copy of ABC form...Bill signs form and submits, Sandra signs her ABC form signs and submits, Tricia receives her ABC form, signs and submits. Sender receives, Bill's signed form, Sandra's signed form, and Tricia's signed form all individually with unique signature in each one. As it stands now I must send ABC form first…

    I pay monthly for Adobe Pro DC. I go back and forth with pros and cons of it.

    pros

    I love adobe for its combining feature, ability to write anywhere on the document. editing, moving items. all sorts of things HOWEVER

    Cons
    The BIGGEST problem i want to mention
    Adobe CRASHES and/or FREEZES ALL THE TIMEEE AND IF I DIDN'T SAVE YET I LOSE EVERYTHING
    This problem is driving me crazyyyyy

    -Inability to continue onto a new page
    -unless i just cant figure this out (you cant add shapes or lines etc. from adobe directly)

  12. Please separate Add Text from EDIT PDF

    I'm a notary public and signing agent. I often need to insert text such as date, location etc into a notary certificate that is in files that have been scanned by a Title Co and sent to me to print. I used to just make a selection and add text that stayed open until I was finished with it. Now I have to open Edit PDF 1st and it converts the page before I can just hit ADD TEXT. The other way is easier and less time consuming when I'm dealing with 200 pages.

    Hallo,

    wir benutzen Cirtixserver in Verbindung mit lokalen Rechnern. Dadurch müssen ständig Anmeldung zur Registrierung durchgeführt werden.

    Das nervt total. Vor allem, wenn kein Internet vorhanden ist. Wir überlegen schon, auf ein anderes Programm umzusteigen.

  15. No way to correct OCR errors in Acrobat pro DC

    There is a major problem with OCR in Acrobat Pro CD. I have recognized (OCR) text in many documents. They still contain a lot of recognition errors in the hidden text used for search. When I try to use the function/tool "Correct Recognized text" (translated from Norwegian), I get a message saying that there are no suspected errors. It is not possible to correct the remaining errors. This is just stupid, there is no 100% correct OCR program, there are lots of errors in the recognized text.   16. same interface on both web platform and desktop app

    The Acrobat DC desktop app is VERY limited in its functions... I'd love to see the same functionality as the DC web platform. Example, creating and accessing adobe sign templates on the desktop app.

  17. Commenting using dual high- and low-res monitors

    Opening multiple Acrobat windows on separate displays causes problems with the resolution calculation in the comments panel, if the screen scaling is different for the two screens.

    I'm using the latest release version of Windows 10 Professional, and one panel is 3840 x 2160 at 150% scaling, and the other is 1920 x 1080 at 100% scaling. Acrobat is Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042.

    Ordinarily Acrobat rescales correctly as you move windows between screens, but the comments panel seems to have an application-wide display scaling (unlike the rest of the UI) and whichever screen you use most recently ALSO changes the…

  18. Compare bug when compare to Acrobat 7

    We do the compare output with Acrobat DC latest Release with Acrobat 7. and our comparision finding are listed in the spread sheet "Compare report case study_V1".

  19. Need to be able to change the size of a redaction area.

    At present, when you mark an area for redaction by drawing a box, you cannot adjust the size of the box afterwards. This needs to be changed to make this possible. I’ve used other redaction software where this is possible. This change is vital because in very large PDF pages, it is not always possible to precisely mark an area for redaction on your first attempt, so you end up having to delete the redaction you’ve just drawn and try again.
