Recent documents keep disappearingLinks to my recent documents keep disappearing from the Recent list. The message says: "There aren't any recent files". Acrobat is currently up to date on my Windows 10 laptop. This is happening sporadically, with recent docs appearing as expected for some time, then vanishing without explanation, sometimes while I'm looking at the list Acrobat Pro DC. 4 votes

Make it easy to remove pop-up toolbar associated with pan toolEven though it vanishes after a few seconds, the new menu bar that pops up every time I use the "pan" tool is very annoying. Why in the world is it not easier to remove the pop-up option? I'd like to dock it, remove it, whatever. When I'm panning through a document that's several hundred pages and have to wait a few seconds every time I use that pan tool, it's not only annoying but reduces productivity. 1 vote

Opening PDF crashes IE 11Windows 10. Adobe Acrobat DC 20.13.20064.405839. When I open a PDF in IE 11, the first one loads fine, but if I close it and open a second PDF, this crashes IE 11. I am a developer, and we use an application that uses IE 11 as its rendering engine, and the same bug occurs there as well. Open first PDF, go to a URL (ex: google.com), and then open another PDF, and it crashes our application. Please advise. 1 voteHi, Requesting you to please update to the latest version of Acrobat by going to Help > Check for updates. we recently had fixed an similar issue. Please let us know if the issue persists on the latest version as well. Regards,
 Sandeep

Acrobat DC Keeps asking to save PDFHello,
I work with hundreds of PDF's from screenshots or other sources. Anytime I open a PDF to only view it, and then "X" out to close it, I continually get a request to save, Yes or No. I have done nothing to PDF, other then viewing it, at time maybe 10 seconds. This is unbelievable and takes alot of time and frustration each time I view a PDF to then answer NO, which is not the default selection and requires a "mouse" movement to change the selection to NO. You have no settings to Ignore this or change this in preferences. I tried turning off JavaScript and it does not work. System Report Info

Create filenames according to origin, no matter how long the filepath isOur companys filepath are long, becasue we are dealing with many different subjects and projects. Even our filenames are long. When the filepath is to long, Adobe PDF is cutting the proposed filename or even make no proposal. Why? This consumes a lot of power in sum to type an own filename.
As long as this problem is current, we will have to use another product to create pdf.
Because some (e.g. "DWG to PDF" of Autodesk) are working without this problem.
This should be a blame of the inventors of PDF, right?1 vote

Open PDFs with a single click from SharePoint OnlinePlease provide a way to open a PDF in Acrobat with one click (or one double-click) when the file is stored in SharePoint On-Line (and in Microsoft Teams). We can open them from an On-Prem SharePoint server, but not from the On-Line version. We can also open them from Outlook, but not SharePoint On-Line. The work around is to click on the PDF, which opens it in a browser; then, I can download it to a local drive; then, I can open it. Please just let me open it from SharePoint (or Teams) On-Line. Thank you. 2 votes

Better control over printing booklets and signatures and imposing pagesI have a 400 pages pdf I want to print and bind myself using ten sheets in each signature. It is a big pain ********** when I have to print 20 pages at a time using the print booklet option.
Can not you create an option to make our lifes easier? I could choose and booklet option, number of pages per signature and happily wait for the printer to finish.1 vote

Splitting documents without saving in one mapSplitting pages in separate documents without saving it, but just open them in adobe PDF tabs.
Saving them would be so much easier if you can see the document and save it with the right name. At the moment you have to split the document, then open a doc to see wich paige it contains, then close the doc, then change the name and at the end replace it in the right document map.
The is a VERY time-consuming process while filing documents with 20 pages. It should be an easy fix.1 vote

Acrobat DC hangs up Outlook when PDF is sharedwhen I share a document using email on outlook, Adobe acrobat Pro often hangs up my email so I can not access any features. The only way to regain email access is to close every open pdf, and then close the lingering windows that shows recent documents. I use Adobe acrobat DC all day everyday, so I am hung up at least once or twice a day. 1 vote

Zoom BoxI LIKE the zoom box. I WANT to see the zoom level, NO MATTER whether I'm in the "window" view or the "tab" view. You removed the zoom box in the window view, to "utilize more space", as your technician wrote me. I DON'T WANT MORE SPACE. I WANT THE ZOOM BOX!!!!! 12 votes

'Apply' blue ribbon [to apply redactions] prompts errors and greatly detracts from the productThe blue ribbon that prompts me to apply unapplied redactions is a major inconvenience. (See: Adobe Acrobat blue ribbon.PNG) I use Adobe Acrobat to redact information from large documents. I can spend weeks assessing and redcating the same document. I do not apply the redactions until I am finished, because: 1/ I need to be able to refer to content that is being redacted throughout the assessment process. 2/ I need to keep a copy of the document with unapplied redactions. 3/ Sometimes I need to be able to undo previously made redactions. Prompting me to apply redactions when I am not ready to do so increases the risk of prematurely applying redactions. This means I need to keep backup copies of documents I am working on and regularly update them. This is a huge waste of time and greatly detracts from my experience of using your product. But not as much of a waste of time as it would be if I actually followed the prompt and prematurely applied the redactions in a moment of lapsed concentration. Also problematic is the fact we are prompted to apply redactions when we save documents. (See: Apply and save.PNG) For the very same reason. Please remove these features, or at the very least make them optional. The blue ribbon that prompts me to apply unapplied redactions is a major inconvenience. Remove "save as" windowWhen I click "save as" it takes me to an intermediate window where I can pick a folder or cloud location to save in. This window is a complete waste of a window because the next window serves the same function. In the second window I can also choose a folder. Please provide a means to turn this window off. It will save time for your customers. To make thinks simple, you can add the creative cloud option to the Quick access section. 1 vote
