Acrobat makes incorrect QR Code when input Japanese strings.
Description.
In case of making QR Code with Japanese Strings. Actobat DC makes wrong codes. This bug is the same as InDesign CC's behavior.
However, InDesign fixed this problem since ver.14.Step to reproduce...
1. Make a form field with QR Code.
2. Type Japanese characters in the form field and Acrobat will make QR Code that is incorrect.Here is more detail and prease refer attached image.

At start, Actobat selects 8bit byte mode and its correct behavior. However, after adding 39 bytes, Acrobat changes encoding mode. Why change mode here?
The String that I provided is the same code range and doesn't need change mode. Additionally, Your Kanji mode has crucial bug.
The Kanji mode needs Shift JIS Character encoding. But Acrobat doesn't change encoding. Do not use Kanji Mode with UTF-8.I recommend discard Kanji mode and forced to set 8bit binary mode with UTF-8 for all characters the same as InDesign.

Coping with javascript and interactivity in PDF files
I have created interactive Maths resources in PDF files ( I have attached one sample). They work fine with the Adobe Reader on Windows & the Mac but not on Android phones or the Ipad. I need to use "PDF Expert"for the Ipad & FOXIT PDF reader for the android to see them working properly.
I would prefer that they work on an Adobe Acrobat reader.1 vote -

Distiller Output and Input folders name changed
In the latest Update for Acrobat, 19.012.20036, Distiller broke all our Workflows! Distiller renamed the Input and Output folders on our German MacOS Installation from "In" and "Out" to "Nach innen" and "Nach außen". It seems to get somehow translated automatically, since "In" and "Out" correspond to the translations the folders now have. The Problem ist, we are working with scripts to check those folders, and those are now not working anymore! This needs to be fixed ASAP! Also, the "ß" in the "Nach außen" is a big problem when working with network shares, as this is a special character and can break paths! Something happened in Distiller in the latest 19.012.20036 update, but it is not mentioned in the Changelog nor the Known Issues. Please Adobe, if you change something inside a Software, atleast put it in the changelog!!!

Acrobat icon in Windows 10 menu
I have already reported the fact that, when installing or updating Adobe Acrobat (which happens rather often), the program icon in the Windows menu is incorrect. I know how to bypass the problem by creating manually the good icon, but each time Acrobat is updated, this bad icon reappears (see screenshot).
This is a VERY long lasting bug. So please, fix it!!!

Could you please try the following steps and let us know if the issue is resolved:
• Delete Adobe Acrobat icon from the Start Menu, the desktop and from the taskbar.
• Go to C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs and you’ll find the " Adobe Acrobat DC " with the wrong icon. The that looks like a shortcut. Delete it and close the window.
• Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > Adobe > Acrobat DC > Acrobat and find Acrobat.exe
• Right click on Acrobat.exe > Send to > Desktop
• Right click again on Acrobat.exe > Pin to Start Menu… and close the window
• Right click on Acrobat.exe – shortcut (that you just created on your desktop) > Copy
• Go back to: C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs… and Paste the shortcut here (you need administrator privileges for that)
• Rename this shortcut from “Acrobat.exe – shortcut” to “Adobe Acrobat DC” and close the window
• Again pin the icon on the taskbar.Thanks

Saved Printing Preferrences on single document
Microsoft Office products, such as Word or Excel, have the ability to remember previous printing preferences, even when you move the saved document to a different area or attach to an email. The document will still print, with your saved preferences. This is a feature that is highly needed on Adobe. For those of us with high profile clientele, it's nice for the client to be able to print without having to set settings or change preferences.

Window Snap bug it does not paste back or to any other pdf files
When snapshot is used and selected area is copied it cannot be pasted back to the same document or any other opened pdf document or into next page in the same pdf document,

Reduce Multiple Files - select a previously saved "custom" optimization
When "Reduce Multiple Files" is selected to optimize an entire folder of PDF files, there needs to be a question added to the questions/answers path that asks you to select from the list of saved optimization settings.
Right now, it ALWAYS uses the Standard settings, and the resulting graphics quality for screen shots and similar images is not very good. I have created a custom setting for the PDF Optimizer that gives the results I want, but there is no way currently to apply it across a folder of PDF files.
This should be an easy fix -- please implement it. Thank you.

I have just had an interesting conversation with Adobe "Support" about emails being delivered to junk rather than inboxes.
I have just had a conversation with Adobe "Support" (I use support in the loosest sense of the word) regarding emails being delivered into the junk folder rather than the inbox when sending to Hotmail, Yahoo and Outlook domains.

Yes, that depends on the allowed trusted sites of the system who receives the email. The emails don't go as a hotmail yahoo or outlook emails, they are sent as an adobe email. If the receiver system does not trust the adobe server/site/certificates it would go into junk email of the Inbox.I did not say they go as Outlook, Hotmail or yahoo... Alright, Let me explain it to you, Adobe Echosign supports Government bodies and it is not at the fault to reach spams. Echosign is secured and verified to be used Globally. I would request you to check with the email settings of outlook, hotmail or yahoo emails. However not every customer who receives echosign mails to outlook or other domains have reported about mails reaching Junk inbox.you are wrong

Well, we do not direct the emails to junk folder. It is a verified email/trusted site from where the email will be triggered. However the the email reaching junk folder is depending on the receiver system and their verified sites. As the echo sign emails are triggered from same server their is no specific direction/rule to hit junk folder or any other folder.I know there is no rule.. And I know you do not direct to junk. As I said prior it is based on sending reputation... ie DMARK, DKIM, spf, blacklists, reported bulk senders, ect

Well as said earlier you will have to address this issue through our global request form so that our engineer will look into it an reply. As a workaround you can create a rule in your mail box to have echosign emails hit your Inbox directly.You can not create mail rules for Yahoo, Hotmail or Outlook domains.

Well they would explain you better as in why the trusted site email is reaching the junk folder. An email which has been verified and been used by the US government is reaching junk folder of these specific email domains. So they would be the right people to check as to why these emails are reaching the junck folder.lol

Acrobat extension 15.1.1.3 incompatible with chrome 78.0.3904.70
Acrobat extension 15.1.1.3 under Windows 10 is incompatible with chrome 78.0.3904.70. It causes the browser to be unable to work at all. It's not possible to fix any other way other than to downgrade Chrome. Even removing Acrobat has not effect. Somehow, the incompatible Acrobat extension leaves behind something that won't allow Chrome to work. Downgrading to earlier version of Chrome fixes this.

"Import form data" via button not working
In creating a form, adding a button, and making the action of the button to Import from data" in clicking "add", the application will not allow me so select any other file type than pdf, but even then i cannot select a file to use for data.
