unable to resave a PDF file
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is dropping Excel formatting (boxes around cells) when converted to PDF document. It also will not allow a PDF document to be changed and resaved as the same file name. You now have to save as a new file name every time, which makes it impossible to work with.

Can you share a sample Excel document where you are facing this issue? Is it happening for all Excel files?
Thanks

Export animation from InDesign to interactive PDF please!
We are an enterprise customer with over 1,000 Adobe users.
I would like our users to be able to create animated presentations using InDesign rather than PowerPoint and export the content as an interactive PDF. Currently this can't be done, you can output the animation using Publish Online, which outputs a URL, which isn't secure or in a format we would want, not everyone wants to view presentations on the web, most of our presentations our confidential!I can't express enough how useful it would be to be able to export the animation to interactive PDF. We could move the…

Changes compared between 2 PDFs are not accurate
When comparing 2 versions of a PDF, some of the items the program highlights come up as changes where there isn't any. For example, in one section, a piece of text had been moved a few millimeters, and yet the program registered it as a completely new piece of text, which is false.
What are the rules on how Acrobat identifies changes between 2 PDFs? And can this be altered by Adobe and/or the user?

Bug: Acrobat Pro DC opens on its own (Mac)
see https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2574582
The most recent version of Acrobat Pro DC continues to open on its own, at random times, without being launched or installed in Login Items.

Big: Filter status not working as intended
When filtering comments by ‘completed’ and then actually selecting a comment as having become ‘completed’ it is not removed from the list of visible comments. You need to go to filters, turn it off and back on again to clear the ‘completed’ comments. Very frustrating. It’s worked as intended before this latest update.

Reading Order not showing up
- When I open a document the reading order is missing.
- One of my clients has sent me a pdf with the reading order attached and the tags assigned, the document has been tagged, it's all good to go. However, when I open the document on my end, all of the reading orders have been removed. I know the reading order has been set, i checked the original document and it was tagged properly, but when she emails it to me the reading order is not showing up on my end.

Allow users to save documents for E-sign
As a lawyer, I need to send documents for client's signature using my own email platform. Having the documents sent by adobe is a hassle and creates a privacy issue for us. On top of this, I also send contracts using our invoicing software. Adobe doesn't allow me to download the contract containing the e sign box for the client to sign. I believe that Docusign offers this feature. As such, I am likely going to have to switch to them unless this issue is resolved quickly.
Pretty confident that this is an issue for others, especially law firms like…

Acrobat DC Pro crashes every time I open multiple PDFs
Acrobat DC recently started to crash every time I open two PDFs. It just closes all the windows without showing any error messages.
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. I assume this is associated with some recent update, since this bug started to appear in the last one month. Would anybody know how to fix this?3 votes -
Global font formatting
I would love to have the ability to select an embedded font of your choosing and change its formatting across the entire document. Enfocus PitStop allows you to do global font replacement, but adding the ability to change size, color, and other formatting would be a major time-saver.
Thanks,

Text can still be copied after setting PDF Protect to Content Copying: Not Allowed.
When I have PDF security set to Content Copying: Not Allowed in Acrobat DC but allow low-resolution printing, I can still copy text from the PDF in Apple Preview. If I also set printing to Not Allowed, then copying of text is disabled. It's a both or none situation. I need to allow low-resolution printing, but not allow content copying.

Leave panels the way I left them
I often work with similar types of documents in Acrobat. I need to view comments by color. To do this I need to:
- Open the right hand panel.
- Click on "Comments"
- Click on "Sort By"
- Click on "Color"
- Click on the Options button ...
- Click on "Collapse All."
I have to do this every single time. Please make it so that tools are left the way to user last used them, as is done in probably all the other Adobe programs.
This is how Bluebeam Revu functions and it saves so much time. Usually when I need to work with…

More comments at a glance
I compared Acrobat X with the current version of Acrobat: At X you have 20 comments in the window at glance and in the current version it's just 9 comments! If I have a document with 1000 comments I have to scroll much more than in X and makes my work slower than before.
Please make more comments visible at a glance again!

This is currently an error that we are experiencing. We are doing shared reviews and this was working fine several weeks ago. We were able to previously send out pdf's for review but now we are receiving this error.

Convert, not embed, email attachments (carry over attachment into the converted PDF)
Attachments need to be converted to be included and placed behind the email. Email + attachment in one PDF, not embedded. As previously noted, this is a very important feature for law firms.

Text-to-speech functionality does not work with the Apple OS version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, as in previous versions
It has been important in my practice to review reports and multitask. The Apple OS version of Adobe Acrobat is not compatible with the system-wide keystroke of option+s, which activates text-to-speech. This essential function works with MS Office 365 and other third-party apps. Secondly, the rate of speech (even after changing the preferences) is too rapid for use. Clearly, the options of reading the whole page or whole document are limitations. I work with patients who have auditory processing problems, and I can imagine that this function makes some document reading inaccessible. The current configuration is probably an upgrade for…
