Exporting files to Word automatically defaults to "Do not spell check" .
When exporting a PDF to Word, the files automatically default to Turn Spell Check off. This has caused numerous errors in my documents as spell check is an necessary function. This is under the Review tab, language Function in Word. I don't understand why Adobe would default to that. It did not used to do that. At the very least, you should offer the option to the individual doing to conversion to have the choice in their setup.

Soft and hard hyphens in German text
German, as we know, is a language with some very long words. Therefore it is very common that words will be automatically split across lines, using what we used to call a "soft" hyphen. When exporting a PDF in German to a Word document, this "soft" hyphen is not distinguished from a "hard" hyphen (i.e. one which is produced by a key-stroke (as in the hyphen used just then).
I was asked yesterday to "Compare" a revised document in German (submitted as a pdf) with a former version in Word, and submit an estimate for updating the English translation. The…2 votesNeed Info

Adobe Acrobat Pro bug - extracting text with ligatures
This is about both editing and exporting PDFs.
The attached PDF has an explicit explanation of the issues + screenshots. Text from the attached file goes right here.I’ve got Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release Version 2015.006.30355.
On Web page https://www.zm.gov.lv/mezi/statiskas-lapas/nozares-informacija/buklets-meza-nozare-latvija-?nid=1088#jump
..there is a link to a PDF file "Latvia's Forests During 20 Years of Independence" 2010, https://www.zm.gov.lv/public/ck/files/ZM/mezhi/buklets/MN_20_EN.pdf
The PDF file seems to be a nicely composed PDF with Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (7.5.2).
The font used, Museo Slab is a publicly available font, I bet it should not have any major issues. In the said file, page 47 there…

Incorrect conversion of Greek letters
Hi,
We use Adobe Reader Pro to convert PDFs to DOCX. However, there is a problem when we are trying to convert a PDF having some greek letters (please check the screen I have attached). For example, lowercase Greek Delta is being converted into uppercase Gamma. Is there any possibility to change this behaviour to the correct one?Regards

Vector Rasterise
Rasterise all vectors option in the export PDF dialogue window.
I use lots of detailed vector files in my layouts and when producing PDF's for approval this can be an issue as the files sizes can be too big to send back and forth over email. There are numerous work arounds but none really give a seamless document flow that should happen. Making a JPEG of my files and placing those instead of eps or ai files can be a headache also.

Slight problem converting from Adobe PDF to Microsoft Word (.docx)
The type and spacing are out of sorts - especially if a graph happens to be in the paper. You have to essential hand type in the data to make sure all data it's aligned properly. Often font changes, as does spacing. This just requires extra attention, and editing. Apart from that - great program!

Snapshot of PDF page for export to JPG has bugs
If you open those files in Acrobat, and use the snapshot feature, then "control-a" to select everything, you will see differences in each one. In each case, on the right side, the app selects more than it should be selecting. For example, the sample with inset and color has a small band of white on the right side that is included in the selection that should not be. This was a bug in Acrobat 9. I was hoping to find this problem fixed in this version, but it is not. I only discovered this recently, because I started adding background…

Export to MS Word without putting every **** piece of text in a text box
I can see certain documents were created in MS Word with simple follow on/flowing text and standard paragraph styles ie no **** text boxes. Even with the export options turned off, Acrobat does this incredibly annoying export to text boxes where it is simply run-on (flowing) text. You then have to extract the text, box by box to get the document to be in an editable form. Even exporting to rtf has similar issues. Exporting to plain text means you have to format.
In the end, you waste valuable time either extracting the text or having to reformat the text…

User Product Report
Within the Adobe Admin Console an administrator does not have the capability to export user data identifying which product is assigned to the user. To run the reports you have to drill to every product and export the data. I asked for the report from tech support and they said the feature I am requesting is not available but to request to it added as a feature. On the feature wish form drop list it does not specify Admin functions so I chose first Adobe product on the list. The function to export all user data to understand the products…

Export PDF as InDesign file
We often receive multi-page PDFs of publications initially created in InDesign with a request for updates. In order to make these updates flexibly, we would have to recreate the document indesign and then make the updates.
I seams reasonable to ask Adobe, to create a functionality, where one can convert or export PDF (generated from InDesign document) to .indd InDesign file format.
