  1. In my process of lien searches when I scan the completed documents, to prepare for the return e-mail to the customer, it is easier to scan all 20 - 40 items at the same time. Then I select each customer's document from the multiple scan and label the new pdf with the customer's name and search #. It would be expeditious to be able to have the "Current Page" selected without having to return the mouse to select it for each new pfd.

    Hi,
We need some information to understand and resolve this issue:
    - Acrobat version
    - Scanner details
    - Scan settings
    - Number of pages scan
    - Does it happen for small files also or only for these bulk scanned files.

    Thanks.

    1. Enhance multiple files at one time
    2. Add the add files/folders option to select multiple files to enhance the same way I can do so when recognizing text
    3. Saves time - since this option will add OCR it will deskew the pages at the same time

  4. When viewing and correcting scanned text, the field is so small as to not include the whole word. Also, it would be much easier to just retype the correct text directly in the document

Thanks for reporting your concern. As of now there is no such option. I will share this idea with the team.

  6. Acrobat DC doesn't remember settings of action "Create PDF file from scanner", in Output: i have to manually select "Multiple files" instead of the default "One File",
and when saving files at the end of the scan, i have each time to change the default acrobat directory.

  7. When I open up a document on my Macbook which has been scanned in using Adobe Scan (on my phone) then Adobe crashes. Mostly it does this before I can save the files to local disk. Once on local disk, it opens them OK.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting your concern.
As of now, Adobe scan app is not implemented for Windows. We will update you if its done in near future.
    Thanks.

  10. Once I have scanned a page I am not able to save the file to any folder, See the attached screen shot, this is the screen that I get. I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and re-installed and still get the same thing. Please advise.

  11. I was able to do this in the past. The most recent update must have removed the ability. I would select the "spot" or the edge of the page where the document feeder skewed the page in the scanner, then hit delete. Now I am unable to do this. I want to be able to present clean documents.

If I am not wrong you are using edit functionality of Acrobat. There you can select the edge or small bounding ox and delete it if it is not required.
If not please use Edit tool.

If you are facing any issue on any file please share the files.

    Thanks.

  12. I'm currently unable to scan to Acrobat: when I attempt to create a PDF from scan, my scanner and Acrobat go through the whole process, and at the point where the scan should be appearing in Acrobat, I'm returned to the Scan page of Acrobat with no file created. Scanning to Photoshop works fine, so it's not my scanner. I'm on macOS Sierra, with the most recent release of DC.

  13. After OCR recognition provide a facility not just for correcting the text, but for meta-data labeling of fields and regions. This data would make machine-learned document management much more effective.
For example, the automated extraction of data from Insurance company EOBs. You might argue, of course, that this is not in Adobe's balliwick, but I'd argue that this is a natural addition to your commenting tools.

For the first question, ability to correct OCRed text. This functionality is already there. Go to Tools> Enhance scan> Recognize text> Correct Recognize text

For the 2nd query I will raise a feature request for you. We will look into this and inform you if there is nay update.

    Thanks.

  14. As a preprocessing step for our document analysis technology, we need to OCR hundreds of document scans. Since we need not only the recognized text, but also font information and text position, your OCR technology as integrated into the Acrobat DC provides the best quality for our needs, but unfortunately, there seems to be absolutely no possibility to automate the OCR process? Your mobile app seems to access some cloud api, since there you can make a picture with your phone and get the OCRed PDF within seconds from the Adobe servers, but the API is not public (at least…

  16. Create shortcut on Home page to "Create PDF from Scan". A lot of users primarily use Acrobat to create pdfs from paper. It shouldn't take 4 mouse clicks to get this done. Also, there is now no way to use keyboard shortcuts to effect a scan. Alt-F-R-S is as far as one can go because the new blue Scan button does not have a keyboard shortcut.

  17. I'm trying to deskew a PDF in Acrobat Pro DC, but it will only work when compression is on at the 3rd lowest setting.
When trying to go higher or turn compression off the deskew fails.

  18. A patch is urgently needed for Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and DC to overcome Windows' misbehavior vs. Acrobat after the latest update. Acrobat crashes during scan under Windows 10 latest update, often when one scans the first page, but sometimes only after one page or maximum two. I verified that by installing a fresh Windows 10 Enterprise, checked that Acrobat works; then Windows 10 was updated to the latest version and Acrobat scan stopped working on TWO different computers.
