One Acrobat instance installed but 2 instances of Acrobat PRO DC running concurrently prevent PDFs from opening. Only solution is to quit "both" Acrobats and try again. Uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat does not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling the entire ACC suite does not help either. Problems observed in three separate, not networked Macs. No Acrobat Free Reader installed on the systems either.2 votes
Can you elaborate on the behavior here:
1. What happens when you open a PDF with Acrobat? Does it trigger two instances of Acrobat.
2. When you just launch Acrobat from finder, does that also trigger two separate instances.
cannot activate acroat dc pro - with existing account keeps going back to Trial expired - buy, i am an annual customer already. Tried to contact live person, held on phone 20+ plus minutes, transferred and have been holding 49.51 minutes so far. Agent said "do not hang up" will take longer. This is ridiculous.. Adobe has no problem in collecting my annual fee for these services, i should have no problems in having full accessibility. What's up Adobe???2 votes

Can you please share the steps where you are facing this issue. Also, if it is file specific, can you please share 1 file as well.
i already created a bug report to pdfbox because i thought it's not a adobe bug. But in the comments they told me thats maybe an adobe bug.
The link of the bug is:
Is it possible to check which is correct?
Thanks for raising your concern, we are escalating the issue to the concerned team. I would like to add Acrobat XI now is end of life, i would recommend upgrading to Acrobat DC for a better experience.
There should be an option to export one PDF file to one HTML file. It should export it like if there is only one symbol in PDF.1 vote

I need to process large PDF files that are often sent to me with duplicate pages. Dupes are often very difficult to manually locate in a 3,000 page + Document.4 votes
I have a merged PDF document to which I added multiple bookmarks.
When I run advanced optimization as I usually do, it removed half of my bookmarks.
This has never happened before.
This is a task that I perform every other month and has worked fine for years.
We are running Windows 7, and have an Adobe CC team account.2 votes
Can you please be little specific about your request. We do have a compare tool in Acrobat. Did you try using that?
When I open up a document on my Macbook which has been scanned in using Adobe Scan (on my phone) then Adobe crashes. Mostly it does this before I can save the files to local disk. Once on local disk, it opens them OK.2 votes
I'm not sure if this is an issue with Mac (OS X El Capitan, 10.11.6) or Acrobat (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, 2018.009.20044), but if i put Adobe Acrobat Pro is in fullscreen mode it will occasionally pop out of it and appear in the current view. I have not been able to recreate the issue in an accurate way, but I've mostly noticed it whilst chrome is loading pages in a new tab, but it's also happened with other programs like the finder. If I'm viewing another program in fullscreen mode when it happens Acrobat appears infront, blocking my view. It's quite a nuisance. I made a screen recording of it happening, though as I mentioned I'm still not sure of exactly what triggers it.

Working on a MAC (mac OS High Sierra v 10.13.2 updated 12.14.17) in Acrobat Pro DC v2018.009.20050
I think this problem started right after OS update.
Open a PDF document, extract a page, and now want to save that page.
A Save As PDF window opens but it is empty and you can't do anything. If you try it too many times it will lock up acrobat and you have to force quit. Does the same thing if you want to do a save as to an existing file and rename etc. Screenshot attached.1 vote
After an update of Acrobat DC has been installed on our computers:
the PitStop Pro toolbars had disappeared and
the PitStop Pro selection tool frequently becomes unresponsive
Windows specifications: Windows 10 Pro / version 1709 / OS Build 16299.98
Pitstop specifications: Enfocus Pitstop Pro 17 Build 786028
Acrobat specifications: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - version 2018.009.20050
Are those issues known by you and do you have a solution for those problems ?1 vote
When I try to sign a document, it tries to connect but never does. Occasionally I get a message saying "cannot connect to the service, try again later"
Yes I have checked my internet connection etc.1 vote
Using Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.23 (Acrobat, not Reader), our PowerBuilder 12.5 application hangs for 8-10 seconds when an OLE PDF window is closed. The same delay is seen with Reader DC 17.012.20093 and all subsequent versions but is not seen with Reader DC 17.009.20058 and older, or Reader XI 11.0.23 and older.
There seems to be some delay in the destruction of the OLE PDF viewer object; the delay can even be seen when closing a window containing an OLE PDF viewer from PowerBuilder 12.5 IDE.1 vote
