    In attempting to Save a PDF as PDF-A I receive the following error message. I have exited and re-launched Acrobat several times. Using Acrobat v 2024.002.20736 64-bit

    Acrobat add-in causes Word to become unresponsive when inserting a link.

    After installing the Acrobat add in to word, Word would become unresponsive when attempting to insert a link into the document. from the insert tab, to Links and link, the "Insert Hyperlink" window would pop up, and Word would go unresponsive and would need task manager to force quit.

    After disabling the Acrobat add in, Word was able to insert hyperlinks into Word docs without issue upon restart.

  3. Acrobat locks up when signing in via Google

    I open a PDF and Acrobat launches fine. I click "Sign in" on the top right. I click "Continue with Google" and it launches a browser window and says "You're all set!". Acrobat locks up. I can't click on anything. The only way to close it is via the taskbar.

  4. when hilighting a pdf on an ipad with Adob pro, allow text highlighted to be copied to comment, or allow exporting highlighted text. in

    On theipad, this settings option is not available and its extremely frustrating because I would like to read/annotate on my ipadt I can then export (essentially exporting my "notes" from the pdf). On my ipad, this settings option is not available and its extremely frustrating because I would like to read/annotate on my ipad as the highlight functionality there is superior to desktop.

    Also, I have a university/enterprise account and couldnt login to vote/submit the comment because the SSO option is not enabled for this page.

  5. Comments Shouldn't Spam Mentioned Users

    Comment workflow will often be one user making a pass over the document, followed by another user, and so on. Currently every @mentioned user is sent an e-mail the moment you mention them, which floods everyone's inboxes and leads to users editing a document before it's ready. Suggest copying Word's system, where users are invited to comment when the user chooses, rather than the instant they are mentioned.

  6. PDFMaker adding unwanted characters to Word running headers

    When using running headers in Microsoft Word, extra characters are inserted into some running headers that use StyleRef fields. The particular circumstance is when the heading used to populate the running header appears in a previous section of the document. PDFMaker injects tracking characters into the heading before processing the header field, so the tracking characters are inserted into the field.

  7. Adobe crashes when closing document within the first 3 sec after opening

    OS: Windows 11
    Windows Build-Nr.: 22631.3447

    Product: Adobe Acrobat Reader
    Version: 2024.002.20736

    Bugreport & Steps to reproduce:
    1. Initial situation: There is no Adobe Reader window currently opened.
    2. Open any pdf document by double-clicking from Windows explorer
    3. Close right after opening (or at least within the first 3 seconds) by clicking the "x" on the PDF tab

    Expected result: PDF Tab gets closed but Adobe Reader Window remains open.

    Actual result: Adobe Reader crashes.

    Additional Information: It also crashes if you click the "x" on the window itself, but here it doesn't matter since we want…

  9. I need to go t previous version please. This new version has paralyzed me.

    How can I go the to previous version please?

    This new version is debilitating. I can not get my work done, as it is painfully slow. Unnecessary changes and bugs, in annotation,. Why is Acrobat trying to be Miro or some random mix of other apps, and can not do its main and original function anymore?

    Please give me a way to go back. This has paralized me and my work.

  11. Page move enhancement

    For large documents (e.g. 50 or 100 pages+), moving a page by drag and drop is a) laborious and b) inefficient. Instead, it be better to be prompted where to move it and, as a bonus, ask for "Before" or "After" for exactness. Other PDF products (e.g. Kofax Power PDF Advanced) offers these options.

  12. Skip "save in recent folder" step

    When I save-as a document the recent folders presented in the "save in recent folder" pop-up are virtually always irrelevant. This needlessly adds an extra step for me to then "Choose a different folder." I just want the option to immediately open up to File Explorer, which already has recent folder functionality.

  13. AI Assistant Notifications "blocks" the ability to leave comments

    First of all, these notifications are super annoying. Second, when they appear, I cannot write comments. Only when I close the notification about the "AI Assistant" - do the comment fields (where I can type) appear again.

  18. Error 1328 when Installing Security Patch on 7 May 2024

  19. Tired of the AI assisant pop up on the top right corner of the screen.

    I'm so sick and tired of seeing that pop up notificaton to use the AI assistant on the top right corner of the screen. It makes me not want to use it. I'm not stupid, I know the feature is there and I will use it when ever I use it.

  20. Format Editing

    Using Adobe Acrobat Pro, under Prepare Forms. When editing a form field - mass editing for format please.

    Mass editing Properties of fields is only for general, appearance, position, options, action

    Would like to add FORMAT to that list.
