  2. Acrobat Reader Freezes when signing in

    Reader freezes on Windows10 when I try to use Google Sign-in. As a result, you lost all unsaved changes on the document after restart.
    Very shameful for such an uptodate software.

  3. (Website) Changing region shows funny messages

    This is not a bug on the application, but simply on https://www.adobe.com/ch_de/#langnav, but there's no option to give feedback on the website ...
    When changing region while being in ch_de, some countries appear with funny names (see screenshot)

  4. If we uncheck "Enable AI," actually disable it for us.

    I very intentionally do not have "Enable generative AI features in Acrobat" checked in my Preferences. For security reasons, I can't use AI in my work, nor do I want to. This appears to be the only place I can indicate my choice not to use Adobe's AI features.

    However, I still have:
    1) a pop-up pushing AI every time I open Adobe;
    2) a bright flashy button at the top of my screen pushing AI;
    3) now when I highlight a word the popup with editing tools ALSO includes an "ask AI assistant" option.

    This is incredibly distracting when…

  6. Acrobat AI Assistant User Guidelines are Inappropriately Restrictive

    I am an epidemiologist that researches suicide. I am unable to use the AI Assistant in Acrobat for ANY purpose. It will scan the document I'm asking it to summarize and IMMEDIATELY return a "Some content in the document, question, and/or answer violates the User Guidelines". I have tried this with multiple journal articles and self-produced work. This needs to be addressed with regard to those of us who work in the public health sphere, otherwise it is absolutely useless functionality for us.

  10. When closing documents, the selection dialog does not get focus

    I have updated to the current Acrobat version 2024.002.20759.

    Now when you close open documents, the dialog window that follows (save / don't save / cancel) doesn't get focus. I then always have to click into the dialog window instead of conveniently making the selection using the keyboard.

    I use Acrobat on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5

  11. "Update" causes significant issues Adobe Acrobat DC (Professional) - BUG FIX NEEDED

    I need help about some significant problems that arose after a recent Adobe "Upgrade" - which is really a "Downgrade" in Acrobat DC Professional.

    I've searched other posts on the Community for this issue on Windows and did not find any (there were some similar Mac problems).

    It seems crazy to me that Adobe managed to mess up simple things like scroll bars in a recent "upgrade".

    There are no scroll bars on my version of Adobe Acrobat and I've tried some of the other threads on the community. Adobe will also no longer remember the last view settings.

  15. set a default size for blank page in preferences

    Hello,

    I am always working in A4 dimension (from the creation to print).
    But actually, each time I create a blank page with Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Pro create the blank pages not in A4. So each time, I am obliged to go to Acrobat Preflight tool and change page dimension to A4.

    As a feature request : it would be nice if we had a preference to set a default size for a Blank page. So, each time we create a blank page, it would be automatically in A4.

    Ich muss oft Dokumente einscannen, die natürlich nicht den gewünschten Dateinamen haben. Jedes einzelne Dokument zu öffnen um es dann umbenennen zu können ist unheimlich Zeitaufwändig. Es wäre daher sinnvoll ein Tool zu haben, das den Text erkennt und daraus automatisch einen passenden Dateinamen generiert.

  20. I do NOT like the display in Adobe Acrobat and I do not know how to change it.
