  1. Problem: if I want to look act three instances of document A, I have to save the document as something like A1, A2, and A2. Then, open each individually.
Solution: allow one to open three instances of document A without having to save three different documents.
(even Google's chrome browser can let me open as many instances of a document that I would like)

  2. Adding Signatories to a document can be challenging - if following the instructions in Adobe Sign, at no point does it mention that you need to go to Advanced Settings in order to create a signature block. The simple instructions simply advise the user to add the recipients to the correct areas of the document, then click "send". Doing this results in an error message:
"There are recipients who need to sign this document that do not have a signature field assigned to them. You can go back and add signature fields or we will add a signature block for…

  3. When creating multiple PDF's, if I choose to place them in the source folder, everything works fine, and all files are being converted into PDF, remaining the source structure. But I end up with a folder structure with mixed files (Word and PDF) next to each other. I do want a different output folder, but preserving my source folder structure. This way I get a new output structure, with only PDF-files in the structure. This option is currently not possible. When selecting a different output folder, all files are created directly into that new main folder. I would like to…

  5. The recent update to Adobe Acrobat DC (20.006.200042) has removed the action button from the Prepare Form menu.

I am unable to add buttons to form like "print" or "email". When opening older forms, the print still works, but it is unedible the action you can do. The email button goes off to an unknown link.

In addition, the DC help still list the old way to add and edit these action buttons without listing a new method to create or edit these buttons

  6. Previous versions of Acrobat would hide comments when their status changed and no longer matched the current filter. Can we bring this back? It makes doing corrections so much easier.

  7. was working on v.10.1.14 - it was easy to use, clean interface, didn't take pressing many buttons to do common tasks. current version a pain to use, just like MS Office, you have taken an excellent product and made it clunky and awkward, a real shame

  10. If we create a tagged PDF from InDesign, the contents item for hyperlinks is missing. This can be fixed with Acrobats single preflight fix: Create Contents Item For Link Annotations.

However, this broke already in 2019 and still is broken in 2020!
In 2018 it works in one go.

In 2019 and 2020 we have to run it is many as five times before it is actualy applied!

We save the document each time under a different name, sometimes the third time we run the fix it sticks, sometimes after five times, sometimes not at all.

    Now we heard this…

  11. There is no way to validate a digital signature for a printed document. If a QR code was generated and included with the digital signature a person could then validate a digital signature for printed documents. Some business are reluctant to use digital signatures for printed documents because of this and continue to use wet signatures. QR code reader apps are widely available for smart phones.

  13. Your pathetic sign in procedure interrupts me every few seconds, no matter how many times I sign in. I have been trying to notify you of this for months. If you don't have somebody call me at 707-688-4639, simply CANCEL my subscription.

  14. I beleive it a nice feature would be to restrict portions (part of) a PDF would be handy. for ex, i use documents at my institution where part of a document says "for office use only" I would like to restrict that portion from anyone trying to edit that area and only my office staff to be able to make changes with a password.

  15. Helvetica Regular does not show up in font options in Acrobat DC. Bold, Light, and the Oblique variations are all available to select, but Helvetica Regular shows up as an unidentified font.

Currently on MacOS Catalina which shows Helvetica Regular, Bold, Italic etc in the font book. Helvetica Regular is the only one that is unavailable in Acrobat DC.

Seems to be a common issue in another forum. One suggest was to select Helvetica Bold and unselect Bold to get regular, but this is an unreliable fix.

  20. When a docx is saved as a PDF (by Microsoft Word 2019 MSO (16.0.12624.20348) 64bit) and form-fields are added in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042, and the resulting PDF with formfields is then filled out and saved using Preview.app 2020.006.20042 on a Mac, the resulting PDF hides the filled out content of form-fields. Clicking into the filled form field reveals the contents. The PDF renders fine in other PDF viewer implementations.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an empty word document and save it as a PDF.
    2. Open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and add a form field…
