  1. You need to make this easier and less quirky. I'm using a mac and have downloaded acrobat pro for windows and mac. It's taken me ages and youtube videos to create a digital signature and on a blank pdf I can add it. But when sent a pdf that already contains digital signatures it won't let me sign. In the end I used Mac Preview. This obliterated the original signatures but at least I could sign and send it back for resignature by others. The whole exercise is very unpleasant and very very annoying.

  2. When receiving electronic signature documents, there is now - no way of applying a comment box or adding text any other way. Most departments/agencies use a Document Management System (DMS), and still print a hardcopy as part of the workflow. There is a requirement to place the DMS registration number on the PDF prior to printing, so that the document is easily retrievable on the DMS whilst the hardcopy circulates within the area. I understand the requirement that the document is not "editable" and propose the solution to allow text to be added, but somehow make it identifiable on both…

  3. I recently discovered the new feature in Acrobat Pro DC that allows me to use the highlight tool to highlight "text" in a scanned pdf that has not been ocr'd. I tried to use it today but it would not work. Was the awesome feature removed? If so it should be brought back!

  4. I have had multiple PDFs made in indesign with REALLY SIMPLE .mp4's just refuse to play. In this one, the second video plays fine, but the first will NOT play no matter what I do. I've switched the video, I've reexported it, I've deleted the contents of the page and started over, and it still just sits with that ugly loading bar whenever I open it up in acrobat to test it out. I work with video regularly, and this happened last week when I tried assembling a few videos for a project for another client. All of them loaded…

  5. Steps to reproduce the issue: Create an exportAsFDF script in a privileged context in a folder level script. Specify an array of some but not every child field of a non-terminal field name using the aFields parameter with exportAsFDF. Next, employ ALL child fields of that multi-field set a pdf, not just the fields in the array, and enter values in every field in the family. Call the script from the pdf to export and save the fdf file. Reset the fields in the pdf to a blank state. Import the fdf file to that pdf.

    Environment: Acrobat Pro DC;…

  6. It currently works fine to embed 1080P videos in an adobe document. They play smoothly and the sound and video track nicely. But could you make the same thing possible for 4K and 8K videos. At this time the video is lagging / choppy and the video freezes and all you can hear is the audio. Thank you.

  7. 10 years ago I was able to link to external video sites like YouTube.com and have videos appear in Adobe documents with Acrobat. But for some reason the software has a bug now and when placing a url into the dialog box it says "No media file has been specified. Please select one and try again." Can you please fix this soon. This is very frustrating since it use to work fine 10 years ago. Thank you.

Did you try the existing Rotate functionality? Right click on the page thumbnail and select Rotate Pages. From the dropdown, select 180 degrees and Press OK.
Let us know if that works.

  14. If I select multiple copies and check the two-sided print option and go back to print, it resets the copies to 1.
Also, the collate option was hard to find being hidden until you select more than 1 copy.

  19. Hello,

    In the attached file

-Select a grade under Grade Level
-Open up the standards selections under "I am going to learn" under any of the lessons
-Use the scroll bar to scroll down as far as you can

I'm developing the document on a Mac OS X system but I have also repro'd the issue on a Windows system.

    Expected Behavior
I expected the scrolling to go all the way down to the last item on the list.

    Observed behavior
The scroll only lets you go partway down the list. You can use the arrow keys to continue down…

As a workaround, please try the following
    1. Deactivate “Show field preview when editing or adding fields” in the Fields tab of the Preferences

    2. Switch off JavaScript while you work

    3. Please update Acrobat to the latest patch and check if that resolves the issue. Launch Acrobat > click “check for updates” under Help menu.
Let us know how it goes.
