  1. In the Send for review there doesn't seem to be a checkbox in the dropdown only resolve. Why is this different to reviewing a normal pdf with comments? Even shift K doesn't work to add a tick. Shouldn't commenting be the same across the board in acrobat whether you are just opening a pdf or opening a shared review?

  2. I set up my Acrobat DC to use my Google Contacts as default contacts when sharing PDF's. I have around 1,000 Google Contacts.

Each time I press the contacts search button to select contacts with whom to share a PDF, Acrobat loads and parses all the contacts. It is slow.

Instead, load the contacts once. Allow some method (a button?) for re-loading if the user (me) thinks the data needs to be refreshed.

  3. The new "Send for Review" feature is fantastic! But it would be EVEN BETTER if it included all the features (Such as "insert text" and "replace text" the stamps feature, and even inserting an audio recording, for some examples. Not

Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using

  5. Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).

  6. The Action Wizards that are custom setup can no longer save to a pre-specified folder.

Previously action would save to a designated folder when "Save to Local Folder" was the option.

It no longer saves at all even though the operation is checked.

What should happen is it should be saved in the folder specified as previously.

I'm running MacOS 10.14 and using Acrobat 20080 on a MacBook Pro.

For saving the file to a particular folder you can click on File menu > save as.
The popup opens up now select ‘choose a different folder..’
Now you can save your file to your desired location.

  7. The Acrobat Firefox (and most likely Chrome, etc.) plugin's settings dialog for page size isn't localized for metric support and only displays units in inches and not millimetres. Please fix this ASAP. We are not all American.

  8. having 3 steps to complete a comment is now REALLY frustrating. when it was just a check box on the comment it was alot smarter and quicker. not sure why this was hidden in a menu 2 layers down.
Suggest putting it back on the actual comment.

  9. Editing PDF images completely removes large image mask features and just moves it to random place. Cannot resize or move because it's larger than the document page, and anytime I try to move, it doesn't because it's trying to align to some arbitrary spot.

  10. When I try to filter comments on a PDF Acrobat freezes and i have to force quit the program. The size of the file and the number of comments are not factors, acrobat crashes every time. I"m MacOS Sierra 10.12.6.

I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
Can you please details the issue you are facing.
Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using
also can you share with us some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

  12. I mostly use the Edit or Prepare Form tools. While I'm updating my document, Acrobat crashes at random times. There is nothing consistent, it just seems to be more finicky after the most recent update. After it crashes, I reopen it and the customized toolbar on the right has reverted back to the default tools. This is very inconvenient and happens several times a day while editing or preparing a document. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for this?

  13. See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2553080 for full details

/GoToR links that point to named destinations in a different document should respect the destination zoom properties.

ie If we have a named destination on target.pdf /D1 defined as /XYZ destination: page 2, x: 0, y:0, z:0 or null, then when a user clicks a /GoToR link to open /D1 on source.pdf with 250% zoom, the target document should be opened at 250% zoom.

This bug is reproducible both on OSX and Windows 10.

  15. Bug Report. 10/14/18 Windows 10 update 1803 broke the ability to assign adobe as the default app for .tif files. I can assign any other offered app (paint, sketch, photo). I had to do a system restore to revert back to temporarily correct this issue.

  16. When emailing a pdf you can't hide the sidebar and it makes the pdf too small to read when sharing.

  18. This concerns the window for the Creative Cloud user interface. It always resets to some Adobe service that is being promoted such as Adobe Stock. This is annoying. Every time I start my computer I have to reset, first to Applications, and then again to installed applications. There appears to be no preference that will override this. I know this is very very minor, but after hundreds of repetitions of this experience, I just had to let you know how irritating it is.

  20. A recent update made the circles in the corners of lines drawn with the pencil tool or small stamps applied absolutely HUGE, obscuring the line/stamp itself as well as the text below it.

This makes it near impossible to properly position a line/stamp and also to see what the heck it is when you select it in the comments pane.

I work in publishing, and we need to be able to precisely place proofreading marks and be able to read them so we can see what to do with the source text file.
