  1. Copy a text box across multiple pages

    When processing information requests, I often redact multiple pages. Each redacted page requires a note (currently using a text box) regarding the reason for the redaction. If I have a range of pages that all get redacted for the same reason, I would like a feature where the same text box can be copied on the range of pages without having to manually copy and paste the text box onto each page. I am considering a subscription, and this would be an enticing feature.

  2. AI assistant

    AI assistant doesn't recognize loaded languages. I got a scanned pdf from China, the AI couldn't process the file. I had to upload to google translate to read the file.

    Also, regular scan and ORC didn't work... but the freeware from google works.

  3. Help that actually works

    I'm looking for help for a particular feature. I don't want a ******* tutorial. The help panel is ******* useless. I want to type in the feature i need, and have options from there. Instead, you present me with this panel full of mostly irrelevant options. In particular, the crop tool should actually CROP SOMETHING. Instead, i've got a keyline with handles of some kind around the part of the page I want to crop.

  4. Default Page Thumbnail Size

    I am coming from Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 and started using Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release (latest and greatest?). My only real complaint is that Pro 2017 would keep the last thumbnail size and panel width when opening new documents. Our office uses Adobe to extract documents using the page thumbnail feature, and now we will have hundreds of employees having to readjust the thumbnail size/panel width for every new document. This is going to add hours of work per day on a feature that Adobe removed for... some reason? Please bring back the feature or add an option in…

  8. PDF text disappears in Acrobat Application but opens fine in Acrobat for web

    Does anyone else have this issue of opening a PDF in the Acrobat application, and the text disappears, but when you open it in the Acrobat for web or in the preview app, its totally fine. Like what am I paying $25 a month for if the Web version is more reliable.

    Have tried to do all the suggested check for updates/ embed text/ remove security settings etc etc but still haven't been able to get it to work

  9. Adobe Acrobat Extension for Chrome strips Referer Header for AWS S3 documents

    When clicking on a hyperlink to access a non-Public document on Amazon AWS S3, the document will not open ONLY when the Adobe Acrobat Extension is enabled. When the extension is disabled the document will open.

    Instead, the new tab displays information similar to this example:

    This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

    Access is denied because S3 is not receiving the Referer Header information from the browser to authenticate the request.

  10. Focused link doesn`t work with Screenreader when pressing Enter

    Hi,
    I hope you can help us. We have found out that links cannot be executed with activated screen reader (NVDA, version 2024.4.2) after focusing with the Tab key. Although you can focus the link, you cannot execute it by pressing Enter.

    We use Acrobat Pro 2024.005.20421.

    The links works in other PDF viewers (with NVDA, focussing and Enter).
    In Acrobat Pro It affects almost every document with (many) pages and links.

    Is this a bug? Can you help us with this?

  11. Why in GOD'S forsaken name of inefficiency does CTRL+F searching default the ENTER (focus) button on an AI feature !?

    People. Please. The selection focus after opening CTRL+F should be to SEARCH not to have an AI explain the document to me. Come on.....

    How is it possible that cropping a pdf is a complete ******* mystery? Should be:
    1. Mark area
    2. Click Crop
    3. Done
    Now it is
    1. Click crop
    2. Mark area
    3. Click, nothing happens
    4. Realize you should have double-clicked, WTF?
    5. Start over, double-click
    6. Get mysterious dialogue
    7. Press OK
    8. ???? nothing happened?

  13. Ctrl+F

    The first time a PDF is opened, Ctrl+F will open the search box, but will not move the cursor there, so if you start typing your search term, it will apear as a comment. This is very frustrating!

  15. Single Page Continuous doesn't work

    I chose the option "Single page continuous" as my default in preferences, but it doesn't work.

    Steps to reproduce: Choose "Single Page Continuous" in preferences. Open a pdf document for the first time.

    Environment: Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 ; Adobe Acrobat Continuous Release | Version 2024.005.20320 | 64-bit

    Expected behavior: Continuous scrolling.

    Observed behavior: Page-wise scrolling.

    SO SLOW! It would be one thing if i was putting in a couple boxes. I have done everything recommended and the speed is worse than old dial up internet!
    PDF reader Pro is so much faster but doesn't have the same customizing options.
    This cant be the best Adobe could do? If so I want my money back

  18. Adobe automatically installing collaborative services in background.

    Why are collaborative services running on my end user's computer? What do we need a collaborative synchronizer background service running for?

    We are a company that forbids the use of cloud based services for obvious security reasons. Downloading a PDF viewing app such as Adobe Acrobat does not warrant the installation of cloud based services that we did not sign up for.

    We have begun using Foxit, because Adobe continues to ***** around with customers, thinking that we need this or that while installing it all automatically without the option to opt out of any of it..

  20. Bug recent update broken dragging a document by its tab to create a new window crashes whole adobe session

    Prior to recent update, when wanted to visually compare or read two documents simultaneously could drag by the doc tab to make new window. Now that crashes whole session - their is also a bug in the menu function open new window, it does move the open document to a new window, it also leave sit in the other session so you to close it manually - made working with multiple windows very time consuming and difficult
