1. Drawing polygon always ended a triangle

   This is no an idea. It is a utter disappointment that I paid for perpetual license for Acrobat Pro DC 2015 and I am getting nowhere to be able to draw multi-sided polygons. Always automatically ended a triangle after the third click. Same happens when drawing clouds. Cannot draw multiple segments of connected lines in the same line, always terminated after the second segment.

2. Send & Track Personalized Invitations E-Mail

   Allow senders of Send & Track personal invitations to create a closing signature block or a letterhead that includes the senders contact info (such as sender's name, company name, street address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, website address) within the e-mail. It's time-consuming to type the same info every time I send the invitations.

3. expired trial

   I keep getting offers to try out Acrobat Pro DC. I install it. It says I have zero days left, since I used my trial when it first came out. Since this is going to be an evergreen product, I'd like to see the "timer" on the trial expire, so that I can see if the newest version is something I'm interested in/features improved, etc.

4. Provide date with 'signature block' when recipient chooses image.

   Using 'Send for Signature' with added signature block. Date does not appear when uploading an image. Unlike type and draw which has the date automatically added under the signature. See tickets #0188780191 and #0188780008 on 3/21/17.

5. Improve the Bates Numbering

   Currently the Bates Numbering option does not allow the user to select folder and subfolders to the window for incorporating Bates Numbering. Users currently have to separate the subfolders onto the desktop and then add each folder separately to the list, once all the folders are added, the functionality can then be operated. However, most of the time users have up to 500 subfolders, so its essential that the subfolders are numbered to that the Bates numbering follows numerically correctly. 6. Support for opening and combining OpenOffice Documents, odt and the like.

   Simply format support for OpenOffice formats used by OpenOffice and LibreOffice.

   This is vital for those that prefer those formats over Microsoft Office formats. While they aren't as fully featured or useful in some cases they are free and open source making them a great alternative to the closed source formats of their Microsoft counterparts. Plus my book features some of these formats and i'm too lazy to convert them over...

7. AI preferences not saving

   I do not want AI summaries, etc. More important, my clients do not want me to use AI. So why must I go in EVERY DAY to change my preferences to remove the Generative AI prompts? If all my other preferences are saved, why isn't that one? Please fix this bug. I need to be able to choose whether or not I use AI.

9. Custom Comment status

   Useful function in previous comment made in 2017 quoted below was replied by Adobe to work on but yet to be incorporated in the latest adobe acrobat version in 2025:

   It would be nice if users can create and manage custom status tags. Often when I'm addressing comments I use the status tags for organizing which comments I've addressed and how I address them. I turn them on and off to keep track of which one's I've addressed. For the most part they are usually accepted or rejected, but sometimes there are some that should be addressed by someone else, some that require further clarification, some that I simply want to put on the back-burner but don't want to see when I filter out comments that have not been addressed, and other types. The remaining options of "Cancelled" or "Completed" don't always fit and that has created confusion in the past. it would be nice if there were more options in order to improve the usefulness of the filtering tool and to eliminate confusion among reviewers.

   Hope Adobe can promptly incorporate this useful function.

10. Edits on one page appearing across other pages of a document

    When I edit a document, whether it be striking out a word or adding a new paragraph it will past the same actions across multiple pages within my document. Its a bug I cant seem to get rid off. I just want the one area edited not pasting what I am editing across every page of my document. Makes the program unusable.

11. New Tool Design

    Hi,
    the new design (at this date: 02.01.2026) makes it very difficult for me to distinguish between the individual functions.
    With the help of the colored tools, I could immediately see which function was behind which design. Now without the colors everything looks the same. There are simply too many tools to remember all the differences in the icons.

14. I cannot disable the popup "Try Acrobat Pro with a 7-day free trial"

    Please either get the Preferences/General/Messagews from Adobe - "Show messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat Reader" checkbox to work.

    Presently, it resets as soon as I close the app

    OR

    Add a choice to "Do not show me this message again" onto the "Try Acrobat Pro with a 7-day free trial" popup.

    I have zero interest in Pro and if this persists (like all the other dev wet dream 'improvements') then I will be looking for alternatives. I certainly don't want another AI infection tampering with my workflow.

15. Pop ups

    Stop putting advertising throughout the Adobe suite, and get rid of all the pop-ups that are slowing me down and bloating the software. I pay for a subscription and do not need your horrible "suggestions" - I just want working software. I am sick to death of closing random pop-ups and suggestions I never asked for.

16. TEXT RECOGNITION IN PDF SO THAT WORDS CAN BE HIGHLIGHTED

    The Convert Webpage to PDF, and Add Webpage PDF functions were completely destroyed by Adobe about 9 months ago.  I requested fixes a couple of times and eventually Adobe restored these to much better functionality about a month ago.  I responded that the functions were now good.

    BUT I have since found that once the PDF is created from a webpage, there is no text recognition within the PDF.  When I try to use the OCR recognition function, it responds "could not perform recognition because this page contains renderable text".  

    The consequence of this is that highlighting of individual words is IMPOSSIBLE.  It just wants to highlight a huge square.

    Once again, Microsoft Print to PDF and much better at all this than Adobe Acrobat Pro -which is charging a lot and increasing its price.

17. Why is it still SO BAD!?!

    It would get a great idea to actually make Fill & Sign work. After 12 versions and years of offering this tool, how great would it be if it actually worked in a bug-free and intuitive manner. Just upgraded from 11 and tried to fill a form. When you hover over an entry field, it seems to find the location of text entry and puts in "Type Text Here." Sometimes you can type text in the entry field. Sometimes you can enlarge or make smaller the text. Sometimes you can go back and edit the text. Sometimes it just puts "Type Text Here" and you can't edit that or delete it. Sometimes it puts a new "Type Text Here" over the old "Type Text Here." Sometimes you can delete all the letters of "Type Text Here" except the initial "T." Quite frequently it does something else completely random. And, as everyone who has used a computer for the last 35 years would intuitively understand, CTRL-Z won't work do undo field entries or go backwards as it does in just about every other tool in Acrobat and every other app available for Windows. I mean, after all these years how can it be so broken?!? Do your programmers not know how to test? Do none of them ever actually fill in PDF forms on a day to day basis? I could see if it had some of the same problems as version 11, but why is it worse now in the new version? For a 2025 application program, this is really a bad showing for a company's flagship product and just makes me think Adobe is incapable of producing good software anymore. But alas, I need it for work so I will just go back to fighting it.

19. Bug: Font color changes to black when creating PDF from MS Word file

    Using latest MS Word and latest Acrobat DC on latest MS Windows.
    Creating PDF from docx file, turned off all accessibility features in Word and Acrobat. Settings maximised for best quality.
    Since last week, the export is rendering some fonts as Black in the PDF, whereas in Word they are Navy blue, or white with navy background.
    Rebooted, installed updates, tried other colour combinations, checked all Word and Adobe settings for accessibility. I have opened the PDF in other viewers and the problem persists. Images are all fine, it's just the font colour which changed.
    This was working ok one week ago - I have not changed the colors since. See screenshots.
    Same behaviour whether using the 'Create' function in Adobe DC or using Export to PDF from Word.

    Using latest MS Word and latest Acrobat DC on latest MS Windows.

20. Request: Upgrade Acrobat OCR Engine to AI-based Model
