  4. We have 5000 users with large monitors. We want to view 3 pages of A4 side by side. Acrobat only lets us see 2 pages.

  5. There is an issue with Adobe's printer dialog menu / print preview that, when you print to a copier that requires a copy code in order to print, the job doesn't come out because the Adobe dialog menu isn't sending the copy code.

    This is a macOS issue only as far as I know.

  7. I use the italian version, so maybe the commands I write here are not the exact name of the command in English, please forgive me for that.

    i have a pdf of a technical handbook, with some initial pages with latin number and then from chapter 1 there are the normal pages with arabic numbers.

    In Organize pages I select some pages and right click, then Extract pages. Unfortunately, there is no way to preserve the original number of the pages: they are renumbered in the new file starting from 1.

  9. Allow option to choose font, font size, etc. when fields are created so I don't have to go back and change all of the fields to the format I use. This can be several hundred times per document and it would sure save me some time and effort.

  10. A figure created in PowerPoint for Mac is pasted into a Microsoft Word for Mac document, but then a Windows based colleague with Adobe Pro and Word for Windows creates a PDF from the docx.

    Problem: The figure is silently omitted (blank space on the page, no warning).

    (a) BUG: even if you can't render it, doing so without warning is very poor as it means we need to check ALL the figures in a big report to make sure they have come out.
    (b) PAIN POINT: there is no obvious vector format for the Mac user to use that…

  11. I came from Acrobat DC, in DC, there's option "Copy selected text into Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline comment pop-ups" in Commenting preferences. It really speeds up my commenting, because I need to search the highted text, especially in a long document, such as book. So, please add it back. Thanks!

  12. Acrobat is soo frustrating. Everytime we enter text is a space the text is a different size. Please add multi-select capabilities with options to make the text boxes align on the bottom and make the same text size... .OMG. Please fix. This is been awful and still no fix. It makes people and business look amaturish.

  13. I have tried multiple times to uncheck the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" box and clicking "OK". When I reopen my preferences, the box is checked again. I don't want that pane automatically opening. I have tried closing out of Adobe completely afterwards and even restarting my PC. What am I missing?

According to the PDF Association Syntax Guide Page 26 (https://pdfa.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/TaggedPDFBestPracticeGuideSyntax.pdf#page=26), and <Lbl> tag should be applied to any labelling text, even if it is inside a caption for a figure or table. However, every time I run the accessibility check in Acrobat Pro on this, it fails it; it appears the check thinks that only LItems should contain an <Lbl> as a child.

  16. Leider kann man nur einen Dateinamen vergeben, wenn man das gescannte Dokument abspeichert.

    Möchte man das Dokument nach dem Scannen direkt per Email versenden, so wird der Dateiname lediglich als "Unbenannt" gekennzeichnet.

    Insofern wäre es hilfreich, wenn man vor dem Scannen bereits einen Dateinamen vergeben könnte.

  19. My self and 3 other colleagues are experiencing a delay when viewing PDF documents. We are using Adobe Reader continuous release 24.004.20220 64bit.

    The page opens initially then after a few seconds the screen hangs and displays as not responding. After a wait of 34/40 seconds it comes back on line.

    I have updated all staff to the most recent version, this seemed to help, but the problem has arisen again.

  20. The functions of the Acrobat page transitions unfortunately do not work on the MAC. Acrobat does not display page transitions, regardless of whether they are created in Indesign or in Acrobat itself. It would be nice if this problem could be fixed soon. Among other things, I use a Macbook Pro M3 Max under Sequoia with the latest Adobe applications.
