  2. Unfortunately there are already like 80 feature requests for usage reports.  As a company, we view the lack of visibility into usage as a sign of adobe not wanting to be transparent with its users. We have no way to track how often people are using the product, which in turn is making us buy more seats constantly. I apprech the hustle, but dang, I will certainly be looking for new products to swap to and to remove us from this endless loop.

  3. Dear Adobe Support Team,
I am writing to share my frustration with the current version of Adobe Acrobat, specifically regarding the inability to move tool panels—such as the Bookmarks panel—to the left side or other locations within the application window. In previous versions, the placement of the Bookmarks panel and tools was on the left (which makes sense to be on the left), and it is essential for my daily workflow and productivity to keep it on the left.

The recent interface changes have switched sides of all the tools, and now the Bookmarks panel is fixed on the right…

  4. All the HELP articles say by holding the shift key and dragging the highlight tool, it will highlight in a straight line. When I hold down the shift key, it disables the highlight tool. (When I drag the highlight tool, nothing happens.)

  5. From the Comments pane, I go to the three ellipses to access more options, and choose from there "Export All To Data File", this option provides two file formats only (PDF and XFDF).
I need to use PDF comments in our office database for analysis, hence I need to export comments in Text format such as .txt, .rtf, or even .docx.

  6. Please configure DC so that comments are automatically saved the moment they are created! Why do I have to "post" it to my offline PDF file that no one else has access to? I had to write the same comment three times, which was very frustrating. I'm using the latest version of Acrobat on a Windows 11 computer.

  7. In our process it is regularly needed to submit our work of multiple months/years to authorities. This requires a flattened PDF file of all documents included with valid signatures and all other properties. But it is not possible to do this without losing individual properties and signatures.

  8. There is not much to say except what is in the title: CTRL+C & CTRL+V DOES NOT WORK!
If I want to copy some data from pdf I need to do right click and then click again to copy. This is slowing me down terribly. I think I will cancel my subscription and move to alternatives.

  9. When you add a text box, the size of the default box is too long and you have to manually shrink the box to the left. If you don't, it can cover another box and then you can't adjust it because the boxes overlap. When boxes overlap, you have to drag one of the out of the way to edit the other one, then manually drag the first box back into place. There should be an option to specify, as default, the internal/external margins of the text box instead of having this long rectangle as an unchangeable default!

  10. Adobe claims the issue of setting a default font and size has been resolved. This is not so. You can set the default font in the Preferences>content section, but there is no option to set the color or formatting such as bold or italic. These should be part of setting the font characteristics!

  11. I type out on a document. I have the whole thing ready to save. I save the document and random letters do not save on the typed areas that I have created. I use Windows 11.
This seems to be counterintuitive to the functionality of PDF's. Please help

  12. Make it easier to use Acrobat's accessibility interface.
Make a keyboard shortcut to add New Tags or add multiple tags.
REMOVE "AUTO TAG DOCUMENT" FROM IMMEDIATELY BELOW "NEW TAG." Or at least add a confirmation that you want to Auto Tag.
Allow us to UNDO Auto Tagging. (Auto tagging sucks, by the way)
Maybe read and apply all of the feature requests and bug reports that will improve the accessibility features instead of sitting on them for 10+ years?
Merge the reading order and tag panel so that they're not always glitching each other. Making changes to the reading order…

  14. Offer two user interfaces for Adobe subscribers. One can be a simple interface for opening files, saving files, finding and using tools, all the important things for people who don't need all the ****.

The second user interface can be the crapware that has more garbage on it than functional features.

Who needs 60 Acrobat templates? That's what Word is for. The AI must be powered by Meta because its results are somewhere between illiterate, inaccurate or sixth grade.

I know, it's so important before the bubble explodes to have AI on everything from toilet paper to Acrobat's interface. But…

  15. I got tax return statement from my accountant and opened it in Adobe acrobat, but now it keeps glitching and asking for the password multiple times. I already put in the password before the tab opened and now with the document open it asks for password but then nothing happens in the text box when I type!
If I try to type without seeing the password in the text box, the app freezes.

other solution, failed on receivers end: Opened doc within email app on iphone to sign documents -> but then receiver couldn't open signed form

  16. Acrobat’s “Combine Files / Create PDF” tool does not support all file formats.

    Specifically:

.msg (Outlook email files) are only supported when Outlook is installed and configured, and even then, they are not recognized when browsing a folder in bulk.

.ica (meeting / calendar-related files) are not a supported input format for Acrobat conversion.

  18. Adobe has crashed 6 times in 5 minutes. Without saving my progress I have lost major progress. This is usually a reliable product. I have paid a lot for this product and would expect it to be much better. I have more than one license and this is very upsetting and disappointing.

  19. disable annoying popups like "Translate with Adobe Express" or let us disable them in options with one click. It looks like Adobe is out of finding useful functions and just adding more and more clutter to all excising apps.

  20. I want to report a bug.

    Steps to Reproduce the Issue:
    1. Log in to Adobe Acrobat Sign on a Windows desktop browser.
    2. Send a Service Agreement to a client for digital signature.
    3. Add the responsible employee’s email address in the CC field.
    4. Wait for the client to complete and sign the agreement.
    5. After completion, observe which recipients receive the signed copy notification.

    Environment:
    1. Operating System: Windows Desktop
    2. Platform: Adobe Acrobat Sign web application
    3. Use Case: Sending Service Agreements to clients for digital signature and CC’ing the employee responsible for that client.
