  1. Pretty much every time I open Acrobat, I get a window asking me if I want to restore the previous documents, because Acrobat had crashed the last time (but I didn't notice this -- I quit it manually and no notification of a crash until the next time I start up).

  3. Since Adobe Pro is asking for a password for every document we try to edit or combine. Appears same happened last year when a new version was released. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2452664

  5. When I secure a document to prevent it from being exported, then anyone I share the document with is unable to print it. I cannot separate printing from preventing export of the document as part of security.

  6. Acrobat Pro DC began crashing immediately and repeatedly after updating to Mac OS 10.14.2. (MBP 15/32GB/4TB/ 2018).

After searching Acrobat forums, it appears others have experienced this issue, albeit with prior updates of High Sierra.

My solution: I attempted a solution that was successful in one of the posts. I uninstalled Acrobat using the uninstall function of the application. I rebooted in 10.14.2 and then reinstalled Acrobat Pro DC. Acrobat Pro DC now works well, without apparent glitch and no crashes after 2 days of constant use since the uninstall/reinstall procedure.

  8. Environment: Mac OS 10.13.6
    Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.010.20064
    Build: 19.10.20064.311007

    Steps:
    1. Open 2 PDFs and tile them vertically
    2. Activate the Comment app in both documents.
    3. Collapse the Comment sidebars on both documents
    4. Select some text and click on the Highlight tool in the commenting toolbar
    5. Observe that both Comment sidebars expand automatically (undesirable behavior).
    6. Type Command+W to close PDFs without saving.

    Result:
    Acrobat crashes.

    Expected:
Documents both close without a crash.

  9. When adding a sticky note to a document, it faces the wrong way. I wish there was a way to rotate it so the talk bubble faces in the direction of the text, as well as resizing it, or at least, allow it to scale with the text. If I resize the document, the icon doesn't appear to stay locked. I've use the arrow on the bottom but would prefer the talk bubble.

Is there a way to adjust the orientation of these icons?

    Thanks

    Hi,

We have made some fixes around this area. Can you please update to the latest version : Go to Help > Check for updates.

Do let us know if you still observe the crash after updating to the latest version (2019.010.20069).

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

    1. Open this PDF in Adobe Pro
    2. See "bad stream" error.

Any other PDF reader (Chrome, Evince, Mac Preview, GhostScript) opens it just fine, but Adobe Pro is unhappy about it.

Is it a bug in Adobe Pro?

  12. what happened to the old mark up tools? highlight text with note, delete text (red line through), etc??
I used those extensively previously, and this new version is pretty useless without them

Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us.
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Can you use Strikethrough text or Add Note to replace text to create the red line through .
If you have any specific requirement of a new annot , please let us know the exact use case for the same .
If the use case is not met by existing annots, we shall add this requirement to our product backlog.

  13. Hi,

I have an Action Wizard doing the following:
    1. OCR
    2. Optimize
    3. Save the file
When I run this same Action on two separate Machine against a folder with a lot of PDF files in it, after running for a while, say doing 100 - 300 files, if fails. The DC Student version gives out of memory dialog box error and stops and the Pro DC version gives a dialog box saying "There was an error opening the document...." I will attach the screen shut of the error I get.

  14. Hi,

When including Enhance Scan in an Action Wizard and running it against a folder with Multiple files in it, repeatedly prompt and ask for the next file... I don't want to see that prompt, like when I am OCRing I can uncheck the Prompt check box...

  16. Comments and highlights should look color coded regardless of how they are sorted out... all in the same color looks elegant and everything but it was MUCH easier to read comments in past versions of Acrobat when they were shown with their color

  18. I deal with multiple sheets of similar layout. I would like to zoom in on an area and go from sheet to sheet with the same area zoomed at the same scale. The version prior to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allowed me to do that IF I was zoomed in anywhere that included the top margin of my image. But the new Adobe Acrobat Pro DC will only allow a similar zoom if I have zoomed into the TOP LEFT corner of an image. : ' ( : ' ( : ' (

  19. After Acrobat updated to 2019.008.20071, my Enfocus Pitstop Tools have disappeared. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Acrobat and Pitstop. With no change. I have checked for an update to Acrobat but get a message that 20071 is the latest version. Enfocus says the problem is in Acrobat.

When can i expect a fix for this. I need these tools in order to be able to work with my customers. Thanks
