1. Ask the user before installing

   Why would you not ask me where to install the program, like any other Software in the history of mankind on this planet. Now I have to uninstall and reinstall your bloated, mutated, ****** and overpriced Software just to ********* another hard drive. I wish software engineers were paid like nurses and vice versa. All I want to do is read PDFs.

2. cursor callibration

   Is there a way to calibrate the cursor precision?

   When using Adobe Acrobat, there is an issue with the cursor not responding as expected to mouse clicks when hovering over anything clickable like text, buttons, links, menus, etc. I am using the Larger cursor set by default provided by win 10 and now win 11. There is no issue with other programs, including other Adobe CC suite programs (P, LR, AE, ME, etc.), only with Acrobat. I've changed the cursor to normal size to see if that would fix but the same thing happens. When I hover over anything that is clickable, it does not respond to the cursor unless the cursor is directly above what is being clicked. I've been able to adapt but it's awkward and it often leads to misclicks and wasted time. This has been ongoing for years.

4. The Preflight window does not respect virtual desktops

   The Preflight tool window will appear on all virtual desktops instead of just the one it was opened in or manually set to. This is not standard behavior for any Windows application and disregards the user's intent. All individual components of Adobe Acrobat should respect the standard behavior of appearing on a single virtual desktop and being able to be moved between them by the user.

6. Bug: IAC interface draws PDF in top-left corner of the screen

   Version of the app:

   Acrobat DC Pro v22.003.20263

   Platform and OS version:

   Windows 10/11 (no other tested)

   Issue:

   Our application uses the IAC interface to draw PDF into one of our application windows using PDPage.DrawEx. IAC interface draws PDF in top-left corner of the screen.

   Steps to reproduce:
   * use version 22.002.20191
   * run the SDK sample 'StaticViewVB' or 'StaticViewVC'

   Expected result:

   The PDF page is drawn within the specified window

   Actual result:

   The PDF page is drawn in the top-left corner of the screen

7. Acrobat cannot output to JPEG to a OneDrive folder

   Hi. I have found a bug. If I try to output a jpeg from acrobat to a folder in Onedrive. It fails to do so. It goes through the motion like its done it but there is nothing in the folder. If I output elsewhere it works as expected

   Windows 11.
   Core i7 11700k
   32gigs ram
   All ssd
   RTX 3080

    I have a great Idea!
    Why not avoid force feeding someone your code?
    I preferr to load SW myself under my direction which is my right! I am a little old yes, but not stupid, in my world "I AM WHATS TRENDING!". I wrote code long before you snowflakes were born. I am multi skilled in many things and have forgotten more than what you kiddies think you know. I am learning everyday, but, somehow, I have no idea how I subscribed to an ADOBE account that skims my bank $15/month. I almosted purged my bladder all over myself I was so angry. I suspect this occurred right in the midst of document reviewing or production at the moment of getting documentary climax! Bill Gates, and whoever Runs Adobe can KM a$$, deploying or force feeding your code midst document under final review is just "GD! RUDE!"

    However, am not happy W/Wierdo pervert Gates, and I instinctively like the ADOBE interface. Plus, most don't know in my circles that PDFs are prized in court due to the Metadata it contains. So, am entertaining moving all my doc production to ADOBE. Does it do spreadsheets from scratch? And what is the cost per GB for storage?

12. PDF comparison improvement - specify pages to skip

    The PDF comparison tool would be more useful if their were additional optional settings to allow the user to specify if, for example, there have been additional pages inserted into the middle of a document which should be ignored when comparing the document to an older version with a smaller page count.

    The PDF comparison tool currently doesn't cope well with this scenario (additional pages in the middle of a document) and the only workaround is to manually delete these pages before performing a comparison on the remainder of the document.

13. Can we get Immersive Reader support for PDF files?

    I appreciate that Adobe has the 'Read Out Loud' function, and I am familiar with how to use it and change the voice, but it is objectively worse than Immersive Reader in terms of usability, user experience, and universal design.

    Can you please dedicate some resources towards PDF compatibility with Immersive Reader?

14. Ability to change "default" settings at the User level for Adobe Sign

    As of right now, if I want to change the "default" setting for "Signing Order" to "Recipients will sign in any order", but a user on our account would like to have that setting default to "Recipients will sign in the order they are entered" for themselves (at the user level), this is currently not possible as confirmed by Adobe Support a few minutes ago. It would be helpful for users to be able to change some of their own default settings rather than only having account-wide default settings for every single user. This is also true for setting a default "Reminder" interval such as "every business day". It seems like an easy fix to allow users to set their own default settings for simple features like these.

15. [Bug] Text Box Resizing on 4K Screens

    I am on Windows 10 64-bit, on a Dell XPS 15 9500 with a 4K screen.

    On any other word processor app, resizing a text box is intuitive and fast. While on DC Pro, the cursor switches between "Move" and "Rotate" more often than land on "Resize". Some times I need to zoom in to 150% or 200% just to be able to nail the "resize" tool.
    As you can see in the attached photo, my cursor is hovering over the resize dot in 200% zoom, but it is still on "rotate". This is very counter-intuitive and time wasting.

    When I am creating a large form entirely within DC Pro with multiple boxes, this adds up quickly and becomes very time consuming.

    Again, refer to the above-linked video where in MS Word, hovering my cursor on a resize dot almost immediately changes to resize, while on Acrobat DC Pro, it takes a while to get the resize tool.
    Again, all this time wastage 30 seconds at a time adds up on larger documents.

    I see that a user named Alexandre brought this issue up on 4th October 2017, and 5 years later it is still not addressed.

    Now that 4K screens are almost a norm on mid-tier to high end laptops, this issue is very easy to replicate.
    To replicate:
    Edit PDF in Acrobat Pro on a 4K display with default display scaling
    Add text box
    Type a long sentence
    Resize to make it a single or 2-line text box

    In comparison, try the same operations on a different word processor.

18. Keyboard shortcut to import comments from another PDF

    Everyone wants a keyboard shortcut, and I am no different, would love there to be a way to import comments from another PDF into Acrobat using a keyboard shortcut, vs. the current way of clicking the little dot menu. We do this all day long every day at the agency where I work.

19. Give me back a real menu -- where is "OPEN" or "SAVE AS" or....?

    Man. This sucks. Somehow I got 5 PDFs open in one Acrobat window. They are all lined up as tabs. That's cool.
    Now I want to "SAVE AS" ... there's no file menu available anywhere. All I can see is "CONVERT, SIGN, MORE" at the top bar.
    
    Hitting the HOME icon takes me to an indecipherable mish-mash of options to add comments, open recent documents (which duh are already open) or look at "Starred" files. (huh?) Oh, and the side menu now has a bunch of "cloud storage" options (which are useless... I just want to save the open file as a new name.

    So I gave up.... tried to open another file.... same problem. Where the **** is the OPEN FILE menu option? Christ. Puhleeeze give me back a standard windows menu interface.

    This is both a bug and feature request (after meeting with an Adobe Support team member):

    This is feedback from an Intellectual Property practice group, which requires very specific Adobe specs for filing patent applications at the USPTO.

    BUG: when saving JobOptions, our settings tend to get wiped sporadically. We need our JobOptions to stick and have the ability to push them out to everyone in our law firm

    FEATURE REQUEST: from Microsoft Word, printing to PDF image directly would be very helpful. The two-step process to save to PDF and then print to image does not work for all USPTO filings and often crashes our system if we convert large documents.

    NOTES: There are other vendors in the space (AutoDocs) that use a third-party ghost script to "Print to Image" and this allows us to file our documents without issue to the USPTO. I understand that the USPTO has JobOptions for Adobe, but those do not always work for chemical structures and large documents.
