2. Bring back 'Send and Track'! The new 'Share' is too stripped down.

   Bring back Send and Track! The new 'Share' feature is not nearly as useful and too stripped down.

   -- We liked the ability to send a custom email message with file link directly from the application.

   -- We liked how the user received an email with custom message about the shared file.

   -- We liked how recipient could easily find and click 'Download' to receive the file, and that the file didn't always open in browser plugin. (FYI, browser plugins can erase some of the important options that were selected during exporting the file to PDF, including password protection for editing and printing and two-page viewing options.)

   Send and Track worked well and could even have been enhanced -- instead you have stripped it down and changed it to 'Share'.

   Why would you change, downgrade, remove something that so many people found useful?

3. Adobe Acrobat DC Version: 19.012.20040 freezes on startup-white dialog box

   After updating to this version, on startup the application displays an empty dialog box and completely freezes, forcing you to quit the application in Task Manager. Repair, uninstall/reinstall, clearing temp files all did not work.
   Starting application on the administrator account allowed it to go through the dialog box which had to do with resetting default apps then allowed the application to startup and run correctly on the limited user account.

5. Show Number of Pages in pdfs when combining multiple documents

   Acrobat 11 had a feature that showed the number of pages in each document being combined. Acrobat DC has it but you must hover over the document to see it.

   I often combine 100 pdfs together to make one document. I need each file to have even pages so that they print correctly and each section starts on a left hand page. In Acrobat 11 I could read at a glance which sections needed an extra page. It now takes 15 to 20 minutes to hover over each pdf (there are 100 of them) to see if they have even pages or not.

   Please go back to the old feature that allowed instant access to the most important information that is needed - the number of pages in the document.

8. Include highlight color in contextual menu

   Graduate students, researchers and practitioners are required to stay up-to-date in their area of expertise. This means they regularly read academic papers, white papers, e-books, reports, and other documents that come as PDF.

   Having a quick way to switch between colors when highlighting and commenting text (i.e., without relying on the "Comment" menu on the top of the screen) would allow more effective reading.

   This could be easily implemented by including a "color" command in the contextual menu that pops up when hovering the mouse on the top of highlighted text (right now it shows "Add comment" and "delete" only).

10. BUG - Rearranging pages after export

    Lately when I move pages around in the thumbnail preview and save (then close). When I (or my client) open the pdf it opens (defaults) to the page that WAS page 1 in the original InDesign document, instead of the rearranged pdf page 1. e.g. It would open to the middle of the pdf.

    i.e. The pdf has saved the page rearrangement but it opens to the 'old' page 1.

    My only workaround is to create another InDesign file, rearrange the pages and export. This is because my document is a 4pp double-page spread, so page 1 is in fact page 2 on the export... This also is a pain for DL brochures etc.

    Hope that's clear as mud.

11. Acrobat Form feature, merge data files issue

    When merging PDf form to CSV file. Chinese text will fail to export.
    will show ... instead of correct Chinese characters. it's been a while. Please help fix this bug, thanks!

12. Export animation from InDesign to interactive PDF please!

    We are an enterprise customer with over 1,000 Adobe users.
    I would like our users to be able to create animated presentations using InDesign rather than PowerPoint and export the content as an interactive PDF. Currently this can't be done, you can output the animation using Publish Online, which outputs a URL, which isn't secure or in a format we would want, not everyone wants to view presentations on the web, most of our presentations our confidential!

    I can't express enough how useful it would be to be able to export the animation to interactive PDF. We could move the majority of our users off PowerPoint and stay in InDesign for onscreen presentations. They create all their reports and exhibition boards etc. in InDesign for print, but they switch to PowerPoint when needing animation. It's so frustrating when there's a really great animation panel in InDesign, which let's you create amazing animated presentations. I've seen the animations Diane Burns creates and we could really benefit from using the tools.
    I suspect this is something that the Acrobat engineering team would need to implement, maybe working alongside Abhinav on the InDesign engineering team.
    Please tell me if this is on the roadmap?

13. Full-function Surface Pen/Digital Stylus input and options

    Basically, make it easier to use Surface Pens and digital stylus with Acrobat Pro. Look at Drawboard PDF, a $10 purchase with lifetime updates. It is 100x more feature-rich for using pen input/stylus input. Please add this into Acrobat so I don't have to switch between PDF programs constantly. Also, for goodness sake, fix the Erase feature. It literally takes a scrubbing to get rid of a stray line while using a pen in Acrobat. Make it like every other program in the world -- when I erase one part of a pen stroke, the whole pen stroke gets erased. Lacking this functionality makes your pen use a punishment. Please fix.

14. Update Features Optional

    I understand that some new features come from users that want these features however making them mandatory for everyone is not great.

    It would be great if Adobe got smart about the Updates and had a pop up that could be accessed any time after an update which allowed a user to switch new features either on or off. That way we the user can control how the software works and if done correctly Adobe could build it so they get reports back and even feed back on why something is switched off or on to enhance the software in the future. This would make the users happy and allow Adobe to see how many users adopt some new features, and if the switch on/off should be permanently built into the options in the next release.

15. Check marks not appearing when opening coworker's PDF.

    When I open my coworker's copy of a PDF with most of the 500+ comments checked as addressed, I don't see his check marks. I have Version 2019.019.010.20100. He has an earlier version. The commenting feature no longer makes collaboration easy. Is this a result of the update?

16. Graphics disappearing when auto-tag used.

    When using auto-tag, often graphic elements are forced to back or deleted. See attached examples, where the text next to the HHS-CDC logo is messed up after auto-tag.

17. Allow Specification of Default "Scan To" folder when Scanning

    Hi,
    I do a LOT of scanning via Acrobat Pro DC. I am often creating multiple documents, but each time I initiate a scan I have to select a folder to save the documents to (usually 5 or 6 clicks in an AWFULLY BADLY DESIGNED folder selection window.

    I ask just ONE thing - can you please provide an option that allows me to specify a DEFAULT folder that will be selected when I wish to scan (and save multiple files).

    This is the biggest pain in my *** right now - adds 7 clicks and 20 seconds every time. Does not sound like much but when doing 100's of these things over days, weeks and months - that's a lot of clicks and a LOT of time.
    I attached a screen shot of the dialog box which is my bane......

18. Multiple Undo in Order and Content panels

    2 years ago, Adobe programmed that the Tags panel would have Undo. That was very helpful.

    But we also need to Undo in the Order and Contents panels, too.

    When remediating PDFs to meet accessibility guidelines and laws, people work in the Order and Content panels, too, not just in the Tags panel. As in any workflow, we sometimes need to undo what we just did.

    Right now, we must revert to the previously saved version which might go back too far and not be helpful at all.

19. Sort folders by Date Modified

    We use Box Drive and Clio. When I try to save directly to these from Adobe Pro there's no option to sort the folders by Date Modified. I therefore have to scroll through 2k+ folders to get to my recent cases. I find this to be a ridiculous oversight that it isn't an option, when I was able to do it in the free "preview" version of Adobe on my Mac. This needs to be resolved ASAP.
