2. Language selection selection list too small (vertically) in new UI

   The new user interface changes the way that language for OCR can be selected, and the vertical list is now too small to easily scroll through to find languages. It should be at least twice the current height.

3. Cannot Locate Simple Features

   The current Acrobat Pro User Interface/UI hides simple features from users and forces them to type a search request to locate them. E.g., I want to "crop" a PDF. Previously this option was a click or two away in some rationally-organized menu. Now I have to type "crop" into a search field and hope I move fast enough to capture the "TOOLS...crop" search suggestion before it disappears and the search bar unhelpfully tells me that "No matches can be found" in the PDF document (combining "Help" suggestions and document word searches in one search bar field is confusing).

   Please put things back in logical menus so we can use a mouse to activate them and not have to resort to the keyboard to type searches constantly.

   Also the UI on this product seems to change A LOT relative to other products I use, and they're dramatic changes that no one greets with enthusiasm. Please tap the brakes on these constant UI changes.

4. Please add the following features or I am switching to Docusign

   Okay, first of all, due to COVID, e-signatures have become increasingly important.

   You need to make this feature exceptionally robust within both the desktop program and the web portal. It is utterly, utterly underwhelming as of Q4 2020.

   There is currently no way to create or manage document templates directly within the desktop app. You have got to be kidding me. You folks need to wake up over there.

   Secondly, creating and managing said templates via web browser is extraordinarily cumbersome, and your instructions on how to do this are outdated as the web interface looks noticeably different and with fewer features than those displayed via screenshot on the support site.

   For example, I cannot edit template permissions once created, and the help website is useless because the screenshots on there show you outdated images of the web interface.

   I promise you there are plenty of folks who feel like me and do not have the patience for this foolishness. I will give my business to DocuSign asap so i don't have to worry about this at all.

   Please fix before tax season 2021.

6. I want to append a word document to an existing PDF

   Do you offer a way to combine a word document when going to print to pdf from the print driver to combine to a PDF file already saved instead of it overwriting the file but it combines it with the PDF from within that interface?
   When attempting to do this it just prompts me to overwrite the PDF instead of combining it.

   We have this option in the docuPrinter printer, not with Adobe PDF printer.

7. saving to sharepoint

   When saving to SharePoint using Adobe interface (V. 2024.002.20933) when ".pdf" is not included in the name "pdf.pdf" is added to the end of the name. So, if the name is "FCFC" then you click save it's actually saved as "FCFSpdf.pdf".

8. Message to allow cookies covers 'Finish' button for signers in Adobe Sign

   When a document is sent through Adobe Sign to someone who doesn't use Adobe products, they are presented with the web interface that shows the document to sign. The pop-over warning about cookies (or asking for cookie storage permission) appears at the top of the page, but doesn't prevent the signer from finding and completing the signature field. (i.e. it can, and may be, ignored)

   After putting their signature into the field, the person feels that they have completed the process, because the 'Finish' button is covered by the cookie notice. There does not appear to be anything more to do.

   I had someone tell me repeatedly that they tried to sign the document and they got frustrated when I told them on my end it didn't look that way. Only after I asked them to look for a 'Finished/Done/Save' button did they discover that they had to accept/clear the Cookie notice to see it at the top of the page.

   Put the cookie notice or the Finish button somewhere else on the page so they don't interfere with each other.

9. Remove "Create" Button On Top Menu Bar

   Please go back to the old interface! Or let us customize where all the buttons are located and if we want them to show at all. The new "Create" button on the top bar next to the document tabs takes up so much space and is so sensitive that if I have more than 3 documents open at once, I can't move the window around on the screen. You can only click to the right of the tabs to drag the window on your screen and now there's a big create button and 4 icons that don't really need to be there at all, plus a huge blank space before the minimize button. This effectively kills my ability to do most of my work as I often am comparing a document to something in another window and can't move the Acrobat window on the screen at all.
   Also, the AI Assist - please let me remove that button, and put a checkbox to select "don't show this pop-up again" because I'm physically dreading every PDF I have to open right now. Any time I click on anything, it seems like I get at least 2 different pop-ups for things I do not want.
   All of the tools have moved around, and the left sidebar that keeps opening every time I open a new document is horrible. It takes up so much real estate in the window. Same with the right. When I open a document, I can't see the entire page unless I zoom out because there are all these menu bars on top of it.
   The entire interface and functionality is absolutely terrible and has given me nothing but trouble since it was installed.

11. German umlauts in Adobe Sign-templates render the form erroneous

    Recently (May/June 2025) the user interface in Adobe Acrobat Sign switched to a new expierience, which is now mandatory for all users. Since this event, my forms with german umlauts (ÄäÖöÜüß) are not working properly, when umlauts are used in conditions with fields or values. While the template creator in the old experience is working correctly, the new interface doesn't understand umlauts causing conditions not to work anymore. It is also not possible to fix the error with the umlaut on-the-fly as these conditions are still not processed at all and recipients are not presented these fields, if previous conditions are met.

    I used the online interface. Uploaded file for signature (using Mac, Ventura 13.1. SafariVersion 16.2 (18614.3.7.1.5)). Placed signature box for signing party. Felt uncomfortable as it didn't look normal based on my usual experience of the software (the default UI has changed). Clicked button which says something like "switch to classic interface". Page appeared blank so placed signature box again. Hit send.

    Expected result: Signer should receive file and sign once.
    Observed result: Signer received file and was made to sign twice.

    You can see two signatures overlayed in the signature area. The audit report for the document, however, only indicates a single signature.

    Nothing in Acrobat DC feels natural or with a glimpse of intuitive. Adobe tends to override OS given interface interaction limiting it to its Adobe application which is by itself insanely unintuitive. I mean who drove you [the engineering team] to this Interface? Ugly, bloated and counterproductive, not to mention the lack of customization. But this is a path clearly visible in all Adobe applications. Either Adobe reduces its Applications to nearly zero (Lightroom = the *** Cloud version for Desktop) or bloating it until needlessness (Illustrator).
    It just creates anger and hate to the one that must accept working with this "Industry" standard application in daily (corporate) use.
    Just, get a life Adobe.

    Currently there is no way to have lines breaks when specifying a default value in a multi-line text field when using text tags. The web interface does allow line breaks, though. It would be nice to have this feature available using text tags.

16. Page Content and Information - Setting more accessible

    It would be incredibly useful to be able to toggle view of some items like Art, Trim & Bleed boxes in the main interface rather than have it as a system setting. I find it frustrating to have to make system change when I want to look at these options

20. Make the menu/tool system easier to use.

    Please put some thought into the menu and tool system. Try to develop a logical interface with the goal of making it easy to use. Basically dump what you have now and either go back to earlier versions or start over. Consider hiring someone to manage the process.
