Acrobat Lite Edition
All I want to do is:
- Combine PDFs
- Remove pages
- Rotate pages
- Basic editingI'm not going to spend $450 USD on Acrobat Standard, and I'm certainly not going to waste money on a yearly subscription for a product I only use a few times a month.
If an "Acrobat Lite" version were offered for $150 USD or less, I would purchase it, but since they don't, Adobe makes $0 off me.

Unable to add notes to PDF due to error message
When I attempt:
to add text to a PDF
select multiple pages to delete from or move within a pdf
search for words within a pdf
I get the following error message:
"Exception Processing Message 0xc0000139 - unexpected parameters"
the title on the error box is "Windows - Entry Point Not Found"

Adobe Acrobat DC x64 Unified Installer - hide/disable PDFMaker functionality while in 'Reader' mode
Requesting Acrobat DC x64 be updated to enable PDFMaker functionality across applications for a user ONLY if the full functionality of Acrobat Pro is activated by sign in and license validation; and disabled, hidden or greyed out when the user signs out of Acrobat and is in 'Reader' mode.
When using the Adobe Acrobat DC x64 Unified Installer the PDFMaker add-ins for Office products (Word, Outlook, etc) are automatically enabled, however, users that are in 'Reader' mode cannot use these features (Save as Adobe PDF, context menus to convert or append Outlook mailboxes to PDF, etc) and receive an error when doing so, causing increased service/helpdesk calls. Hiding these options from the menus while in 'Reader' mode would alleviate confusion.

why did you get rid of the option to remove the home page?
Bring back the option to get rid of the home page! So aggravating to have this addtional stop on the way to closing every.single.file.

Automatically open page thumbnails view when inserting pages
I have to drag and drop alot of pages between pdfs. I keep forgetting to open the page thumbnails view in the new pdf before dragging selected pages to the new pdf. I have to stop go back, open pages thumbnail and then redrag the pages, which is unnecessary. If I hover over the page thumbnails icon in the new pdf with selected pages, it should just open in my opinion.

Standard voice on acrobat
I have noticed, that the standard voice reader has been changed/updated on acrobat. why is that? i need the old androgyn computer voice again to work with. now the standard voice is a female voice.

Microsoft recommends turning off VB Scripting which breaks the Adobe Mac Add-In
We need an Adobe/Microsoft Add-In for Macs that does not use VB Scripting.
Microsoft Security issued a bulletin stating Microsoft VB Scripting should be turned off for security reasons. When we turned it off, the Adobe Add-In on Macs stopped working.
Further testing verified that if we turn on the VB scripting that the Add-In once again works.
Other non-Adobe Add-Ins are still working (I'm guessing they don't use VB Scripting).
We decided to follow the Microsoft Security recommendation, therefore our Mac users cannot use the Adobe Add-In. Bug: Issue with tildes in URLs not converting correctly
When I convert a Word document into a PDF and there is a tilde in a URL, the URL changes the tilde to %7E in my URLs. I then have to go through all the URLs in the PDF and manually edit them to contain the tilde. I use the Acrobat toolbar in Word to create my PDFs on a Windows system. This issue has been going on for a long time.

adding different formats (pages) in edit mode
Hi, I have a suggestion for new functionality, not found it if it is there sorry. It's about an option to add files, pdf, png,jpeg (can also , psd, psb, ai, etc formats) to the pdf itself while its inside. The idea was inspired by a competitor software which has a very easy oopia to add a file into an existing and open odf. Additionally in the wiggly ribbon are also arranged, add , move to another page, crop and rotate. I'm a student of ux/ui hopefully my idea really has the beginnings of adding usability fuctionality and most of all accessibility.

Enable a way to enter line breaks for default values in a multi-line text field using text tags
Currently there is no way to have lines breaks when specifying a default value in a multi-line text field when using text tags. The web interface does allow line breaks, though. It would be nice to have this feature available using text tags.

Add an ability to determine when a batch action is at its last document
Batch actions are currently limited in the JavaScript side since you can't know how many documents your script will run against.
For context, I have many actions that have a dialog menu for options to select to customize the behavior of the actions. Unfortunately, without a way to know that the action is fully over, I have to make the user select the options for every document that they want to run individually, which prevents it from working as a "batch".
I have a few ideas for how this could be done, none of which are mutually exclusive:
1 . Add an
event.numDocsproperty that tells how many documents are being run.Pros: Incredibly simple setup, and the developer would just need to count down from numDocs until it reaches 0 to know when the batch action is over.
Cons: If the action is canceled or paused and re-run on a document, the count would be incorrect from then on.2 . Add an
event.batchIdwith some sort of UUID that would be different each time you start a batch action.Pros: Also a simple setup. When the batchId is different from the previous one, you know to reset state
Cons: You have to work in a reactive way to the change. You wouldn't be able to reset any state or anything until the next time the action is run as there's no way of knowing that you've reached the final document or that the action was canceled.3 . Add an event that can be subscribed to in the action for when the action is finished/canceled.
Pros: Gives you a way to respond to cancellations or the finish to perform cleanup or actions as needed.
Cons: Likely much more complicated setup for both Acrobat and script developers. Also, due to Acrobat's scripting for events being string function based, doesn't have a nice syntax or ability to work within closures.
I believe my preferred combination would be 1 & 2 together since that would give redundancy and the ability to do a final bit of code when the action has finished going over all the documents.
For anyone else with this problem, I came up with an initialization workaround for now that is much better than what is in the API Reference Docs. Although built-in functionality as mentioned above would still be much better.
The idea is to use time to determine whether the current document being processed is part of the same batch or the start of a new batch. Given that generally the files switch on the span of a few seconds at most, we can check if the time between the last command of the previous file and the first command of the new file is less than X seconds. If it is greater than X seconds, we assume that it is the start of a new batch.
This won't help if you need to perform an action specifically at the end of the batch, only the beginning.
At the very start of the action:

We are aware of the workflow but we are looking for automated approach not like below:
the sync is one way process it syncs the user from the Associated AD to the admin console, in case the user is removed from the source AD account, the user is not deleted from Admin console rather the status turns disabled in the Admin console. Sign with vector file
Signing PDFs with image files (handwriting) should accept vector files, not only raster files. File size is smaller, quality is better, and Adobe produces software for appearance-aware designers, right?

I have a password protected pdf. I can open it with the correct password. Then I tried to remove the protection going through below steps.

At the fifth step, I got a prompt to enter the password again. I entered the same password I used to open the document, but it says the password is incorrect.
I checked for non-functioning keys of my keyboard and Caps Lock key. I am sure I entered the correct password.

Next, who was the genius that came up with the idea to, when text is placed on an image, the app automatically breaks up that block of text into multiple blocks of text, thus making any editing or relocation a real pain **********. I can't believe this ridiculous bit of code survived the upgrade to this new version. Please explain to your customers just how this feature is supposed to be helpful because i can think of no way that text placement and editing is better affected by this feature. This feature is nothing but a tremendous aggravation and i wish you at least had the wisdom to allow the user to remove or disable it.
