Making it possible to change thickness of underlining in Acrobat Reader DC under Windows
Unfortunately, I cannot change the thickness of my added underlined or strike-through. The symbol for different thickness in the toolbar is greyed out.
I also would appreciate two different symbols for underlining; one for straight lines, the other for squiggly lines.
I used FoxitReader before and must say that the way to place comments seems to me better solved there. Maybe something similar could be added in Adobe Acrobat Reader?5 votes -

Set Defaults For Output Options When Splittings PDFs
Each and every time I split a PDF, I must manually set the folder I want the files to save to. I should be able to set the folder path one time and Acrobat will default to that same folder next time I split a PDF. This goes for all the settings whenever splitting a PDF. It would save me time if Acrobat remembered what options I used last when splitting a file. For instance, if I split a file and used the "Use top level bookmarks" option, the next time I go to split a PDF I shouldn't have to set this option again.
Another idea.. If you manually set bookmarks on a PDF, then the default split method would only then become 'top level bookmarks'.

Acrobat doesn't recognize the MAC system default printer as its default
I have 2 network printers. Acrobat always defaults to the first printer in the system printer list, not the one that is the actual default printer. All other apps, including photoshop recognize the system default. This is a bug that should be fixed!

Parallel processing in Distiller
Unless I am missing something it appears that Acrobat Distiller is only able to process one file at a time. I feel like there is a missed opportunity here to take advantage of modern multi-core CPUs and allow Distiller to at least process as many files as there are logical cores on the CPU at the same time. For example I was recently tasked with converting a few hundred files to PDF and it took approximately an hour and a half but if it were able to process 16 files at a time (my CPU has 16 logical cores) I estimate it would have completed the task in around 6 minutes which is an immense time savings.

Scan & OCR not functioning
After setting up to Scan & OCR using an EPSON Perfection 600 Photo scanner, I clicked Scan. I am trying to scan a simple medical receipt, one page only.
The Adobe Acrobat DC app did not respond.
I then clicked Cancel, but got an error message indicating Scan was in progress.
I tried to Quit the Acrobat DC app, but got a similar error message indicating Scan was in progress.
It seems I will have to Force Quit to close the app and try to scan with another app, from Epson.1 vote -

Esign - Privacy issue displaying personal email
In the email to Recipients, the email body text states and shares the senders name and Adobe ID primary email address.
This is a privacy issue, there should be an option to hide the email address and/or have option to use alternative email (such as secondary email on the account).
Using Adobe Sign servers to send the email, it is inferenced that your personal email is not shown to this 3rd party. But I have discovered they have full visibility of your personal email in the body of the email text.
This is in breach of privacy laws, as a 3rd party is given this email without your knowledge in the settings of Adobe Esign.

Acrobat - Option to change the cursor into laser pointer for presentations
I build most of my presentation decks in Illustrator and export to PDF for Acrobat. It would be useful to have my cursor act like a red-dot laser pointer for presentations.
Now that so many meetings are remote (Zoom) it would be nice to have more robust presentation features.
PowerPoint has this feature, but I hate PowerPoint.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and when trying to use the right-click context menu to Combine Adobe PDFs into a single file, Adobe Acrobat DC opens up, but nothing happens for 1-2 minutes. This will happen whether I select one file, multiple files, a small file (100KB<) or a larger file (>2MB). I need to combine PDFs as part of my daily duties, and waiting literally hours every day to combine my PDFs is horribly inefficient.
Versions: Adobe Acrobat DC Version: 21.007.20099, running Windows 10 Pro Enterprise (GC) 1803.
One would expect that the 'combine files' would work quickly for 200Kb files, but it freezes Windows Explorer and crashes if any interaction is made with it.

Hi, this is not an actual proposal, however i believe this is a very important feature for millions of users, please read carefully
i am sick and tired of submitting resumes / CVs through Linkedin and other platforms and not getting a response, and i am sure Millions of users suffer as i do . Adobe can solve this and here is how !1- A.I, where Adobe acrobat can recognize a a CV, tag it, label it, and save it on the cloud, wait thats not all, what is coming is even better

3- the hiring company opens the CV, to proceed they need to enter at least company name, or if the company already have Adobe Acrobat licenses, then Adobe should know.

Copying Page Sets
Sometimes I receive a file with a single set of different pages(Let's say 5 pages). My customer wants 31 sets. I'd like to select the five, highlight and right click and chose "Copy as set?", then once I do this, a dialog box comes up and asks, "How many would you like?" I would chose 31 and it would duplicate 31 sets. It would change the page count from 5 pages to 155 pages. Thank you!

Invisible guide lines, bug?
Work in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed version 2021.007.20096.
Now I can't see the guide lines when I drag lines from the rulers with the Marking Tool, I can only see the hair cross. When I click the spot I wanted the guide lines, then it shows.You helped me earlier today and installed an earlier version, 2020.013.20074 and the function worked again. Then when the program update it self to 2021.007.20099 the function failed again. I think this is a bug.
Work in Mac Big Sur 11.6.
In Acrobat I have extension program installed, PitStop Pro 21.0.3.0. I talked with their support and they temporarily disable PitStop Pro, and the issues were still there.

Can't save file
When I review a downloaded file or make changes to a document and go to save the file I get a blank "Save as PDF" window that never completes loading. If I use [ctrl][s] to save the file I get a message that I don't have write privileges for the document. The program worked fine until yesterday.

Export Metadata
Hi all,
We've tried to add a few metadatas to my PDF file through Indesign (1), such as the title or the author.
Title works fine, but author does not: to add a second author, I use "," which are converted into ";" right away (2). But when I want to extract pages from the file, all the infos after the first ";" are deleted (3).
Is there a way to correct this ?
