  1. Good afternoon!

When the Adobe Acrobat DC program works in Russian, the pop-up calendar does not work.

When the Adobe Acrobat DC program works in English, a pop-up calendar works.

I ask you to make a working pop-up calendar when the Adobe Acrobat DC program works in Russian.

In the attachment is a video file.

  2. OSX Catalina with Acrobat PRO 2017, and networked scanner Epson
DS-520. I have installed the latest drivers and software for both
the Adobe software and the Scanner. When I start Acrobat and select
"Create PDF from Scanner", I get a pop up window with a choice of
scanners. I then select the EPSON DS-520 from the list and click
on SCAN. The SCAN button is then grey'ed out for a moment and
then its back to its original (blue) color.

Acrobat Pro just sits there doing nothing, no Epson Software appears
and Acrobat Pro shows no progress indicator. If I…

  5. I am a medical student and i read a lot of medical books in adobe reader. Each book is around 1 GB. I read in my ipad or iphone while travel or when im at ward. When i am at my room i read from my mac pro or macbook. If i need to synchronise the highlighted/underlined/annotated portions of any pdf accross all those devices, the entire pdf need to be synced which accounts to a huge amount of data per day. It is better if there is an option to synchronise annotations alone.

  6. When you hover over "Previous" in "Find", the tooltip tells you that the keyboard shortcut for "Find previous" is Ctrl+shift+G. Apparently, it is actually mapped to pop-up note.

Ctrl+G and F3 ("Find next"), and Shift+F3 still work.

Acrobat Reader has the same problem.

  7. We can use "Enter" to go to the next result when finding text in a PDF, but there is no keyboard shortcut to go to the previous result. I expected "Shift+Enter" to go the previous result, following the convention of using "Shift+<Key>" to navigate backwards, but instead, "Shift+Enter" just goes to the next result.

  9. Please add an option of not installing PDFMaker.
I don't want it at all. Now I have to every now and then remove it from Office applications.

I have no use for it

  10. It's not an idea, it's a request to stop crashing!!
I'm trying to edit documents, it has now crashed on me 4 times and I've lost my work each time. I pay monthly, this should not be happening.

  11. Or rather, it populates the checkboxes correctly as far as the PDF side goes: it sets the /V and /AS of the checkbox objects in /Fields correctly, but it doesn't set the XFA side accordingly, whereas it does for text fields. In the Acrobat window the checkboxes show as correctly marked until I close the file. When I reopen the file with Acrobat or Reader, it gets its display information from the XFA, not from the /Fields (and that may be the real bug here), and so doesn't show the checkboxes as marked.

  16. Linux users are in dire need of a PDF reader and editor ever since Adobe discontinued the Adobe Reader (version 9.x) for Linux!

None of the currently available (free or proprietary) PDF readers for Linux has proper support for annotating and commenting PDF files. Filling forms and signing documents is also only rudimentary supported by some of the currently available PDF readers for Linux.

Thus, this is a request to revive Linux support for the latest Adobe Reader as well as the full Adobe Acrobat suite.

  17. I had a perfectly functional version of Acrobat. The Acrobat DC trial was suggested, so I tried it. But it deleted my old version and I am unable to roll back, and the disks are in storage on the other side of the world, so I now have no versions of Acrobat. This is a poor way to encourage users to purchase new product, which in my case did not work.

  18. My software environment:
    Windows 10 Pro 1909, Build 18363.900 (64 bit)
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Continuous Release 2020.009.20067
    Microsoft Excel 2019 MSO (16.0.12827.20200) 32 bit

My Problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC:
Since years I combine MS-Excel-files in one PDF via right mouse-click and drop-down menu "Combine files in Acrobat ..." in Windows-Explorer.

Unfortunately, this procedure results nowadays in an error message: "Unable to open document" and a reading permission problem (see attached Screenshot).

There are no reading permission restrictions and I think it is a bug in this Acrobat-Release since it was in the past not an issue.

    I…

  20. [Product: Acrobat DC]
I often need to select the first letter of a word in order to mark it for capitalization. If I place the cursor next to the letter and then press shift and an arrow key, the letter should be selected. However, the display does not update until I release the shift key. If I want to type a capital letter, I must then press the shift key again. Very weird.
