  1. It would be hugely beneficial to have seamless integration of the Snipping Tool and Adobe DC with one-click creation of a PDF from a screen shot or screen selection. For the purpose of this request I am using a Windows laptop with the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud. I can already create PDFs with one-click from most other Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook, but having Adobe be able to handle screen shots and even combine/edit them without going through file/save/rename/export/save will be a great enhancement to Adobe DC which is already a great product.

  2. I'm new to having permissions allowing editing with Acrobat. The "Get Started" menu doesn't fully operate. "Introduction to Acrobat" will not run at all. "Interactive tour stalls out after requesting I enter 'highlight' in the Tools search bar.

  3. Accessibility remediation of PDFs is chewing up an inordinate amount of labor, and at present, the steps required to yield accessible PDFs from InDesign are at a ridiculously unrefined, fussy, deep-in-the-weeds stage. This seems like an ideal application for AI. PLEASE create an AI tool that can handle all of the picky details of PDF remediation. I'd love to be presented with a simple set of questions to define things like reading order (in Acrobat and InDesign), then just have the AI handle giving me a PDF that passes muster and works well with assistive tech. I want an AI…

  4. Remove all icons, share, feedback, tutorials, notifications and profile and settings on one side on the other Remove HOME - TOOLS and DOCUMENT.
who in the H-ell was this idea, a person with a 2 mile monitor?
if you leave Home-Tools and Document, then remove the hidden section on the right side, this has the same as those 3 options.
here at work honestly, I hate to work with acrobat, at home I love working with Kofax.
if you think you are the best, no, you are not. Acrobat was a lovely, professional program, now I hate it so…

  5. I can't find "add text comment" (without a border) tool in August 2023 Acrobat.

When I choose another similar sounding tool called "insert text comment" and clicking on a newly-created blank page, nothing happens. (I don't know what this for in either old or new version. It may have something to do with cursor?)

Workaround is to use "add text comment" (with a border), change properties to always have no border displayed and resize the border after typing.

The old version behavior of "add text comment" appeared to add text at position clicked on a page and then flowed right…

  6. When trying to customize the Quick Tools toolbar, the dialog box opened on a different monitor than the application. I didn't realize that and force quit the application because it looked like it froze. Only after reopening did I realize what was happening.
It would be nice if it consistently opened in the same monitor the application is open in. I tried this with the display maximized and not maximized and it didn't make a difference.

  7. All the editing tools are grayed out and not accessible. This is the default no matter what type of pdf I pull up. Even ones that I made using adobe. Why is this and what is the solution?

  8. An ideal approach can help the user to get backup Office 365 emails locally. Shoviv Office 365 Backup & Restore tool has dual abilities in a single dashboard like Office 365 backup to PST files and restores. It comes in handy for all with its simple GUI appearance. This software does not impact the mailbox's data integrity and folder hierarchy.

It has many features and options such as:

    • It provides an accurate backup of entire and selected data from Office 365 to PST files at the desired location.

    • Users can restore their backed mailboxes and other PST files…

  9. I do a lot of pdf commenting, and I use a stylus/pen on a touch screen laptop to make this easier. The problem is that once I turn on the highlighter tool, I can't use my finger to scroll through the document, because Acrobat doesn't distinguish between the finger input and the stylus input. So I have to manually switch back and forth between the highlight tool and the arrow tool. Most other touch-capable PDF programs distinguish between finger input and stylus input, allowing you to scroll through the document with your finger and then highlight as needed. Is there…

  10. Simply searching for a word in a 450 page document freezes up DC for 20-30 seconds in the new interface. This new interface is junk. I remember when you could get stuff done in Acrobat and it was this amazing tool. Now it's like Adobe doesn't care about UX, but would rather try to create something that's stylish above all. Stop trying to be Apple! No wonder the secondary PDF market is picking up steam. Am happily going back to the old interface.

  11. If you type here before login/signing, once you do it, all typed text is wiped out. Really frustrating. Now, the other Acrobat bugs:

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC issues: slow scrolling - failed saving - document not found. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20069 and previous ones on macOS has some issues, which have been around for ages. They are really frustrating:

    1. Scrolling vertically becomes excruciatingly slow if "Edit - Find" (Command F) is opened. Even on powerful Macs, like iMac 27-inch Retina 5K display 4.2 GHz with 40 GB RAM and fast 2 TB internal SSD from Apple (mid…

  12. On new Adobe, when I adjust the size of the thumbnail view, it now makes the thumbnail really big without also letting me adjust how many thumbnails are displayed per row. I want to be able to see 2 or 3 rows of thumbnails at a time but I have to make the thumbnails pane really big and increase the thumbnail size a lot before that kicks in. And there's way too much wasted white space between the thumbnails as well. Please bring back the ability to see multiple rows of thumbnails or make it a separate function than the…

  13. I have been using Adobe products for Graphic Design and Publishing work for many years, and for most of it my co-workers and I have stuck to paper printouts and pencils for markup. Now that we're all working from home, we're relying on Acrobat and PDF markup tools and I'm so frustrated by how unintuitive this program is, compared with InDesign, which I use on a daily basis. I am used to switching from one tool to another with keystrokes that are deep in muscle memory, and I can use them in one way or another when I open Photoshop.…

  14. When using the "Add note to replace text" (insert and replace) commenting tool, it is impossible to edit the default color of the replacement mark using Properties. This used to be possible, and is still possible for other commenting tools. (Adobe Acrobat Pro via Creative Cloud on MacOS 12.6.7)

  15. The White Hand tool is difficult to view in PDF files since most PDF files have a white background. Please could you enable an option to change the color of the hand tool for easy reading. Thank you

  16. Adobe can do better with the Markup tool as more people are transitioning to digital. I used to use Bluebeam and mark up drawings for review. I'm using Adobe now and I cannot change the text size inside the Text Callout that I drew. How inconvenience is this?

  17. I would like to be able to disable the popup toolbars that come when you click certain tools while still being able to use that tool. As accountants we never need to edit the font or size of our comment editing so we never need the accompanying toolbar.

  18. I want you to be able to change the unit to meter in the measuring tool. When measuring in drawings that have a scale of 1:400 or greater, you do not want the dimensions in mm or cm.

  19. Get a smaller, lighter Acrobat Reader without artificial intelligence. The current one is too big and makes the computer very slow (including when starting up). I just need a PDF reader, with markup, commenting and quick search tools!

  20. Every time I draw a text callout box, it automatically deletes itself.

The only way I can add one to a file is by copying it from a different PDF.
