Read only form fields become visible when a digital signature is applied and then cleared
Environment:
Windows. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.012.20040Expected result is that the text field remains Read Only when the digital signature is cleared.
What happens is the Read Only field appears visible as if it can have data entered into it.
Unfortunately I cannot seem to reproduce it on other forms, and I cannot attach this form as it is proprietary. Not sure if this is a familiar problem with others.

Font size adjustment after making subscripts reverts subscripts to normal font size
When changing anything within a text field to a subscript or superscript, and then changing the font size of the entire field later, the subscript or superscripts are also changed to that font size. In most cases, it would be preferable to maintain characters or words that are subscripted/superscripted during an overall font size change.

Batch superscript or subscript within a field
Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.
This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

Allowing .ai files to be uploaded into image fields in pdf forms.
As a graphic design, I use the same few .ai art files per day. duplicated into new files. For over a year, I've been able to select .ai files to upload directly into a image field in art proof form (which is also duplicated and reused over and over) that I created. This is a function that I was able to do hundreds of times over the past year.
Then after running an update to Mac Catalina on 10/31, Acrobat Pro DC no longer allows .ai files (however .eps files are accepted) to be directly uploaded into image fields. The .ai files nor the pdf forms have been changed since before or after the update.
As a workaround, I either have to save out a .jpg of each .ai file, OR add a second extension to the files, <filename>.ai.pdf to get the files to upload. Both of which are tedious extra steps. I would really like to be able to select .ai directly into image fields again.

BUG: Continually kicked out of Adobe when doing form design
I've always used Acrobat X Pro with LiveCycle to create my forms. Our forms are extensive so not that easy to create in word and then convert to PDF form so i "free hand" (create New) created all the original forms. Now i'm using Acrobat Pro DC subscription. Create from New does not have the features of LiveCycle so now i'm resorting to having to create the form in word first, then convert it to a PDF form and rebuild the majority of my fields, check boxes, drop down lists, radio buttons because those don't come through. First off this is a waste of time. But here's the real problem. I am creating radio buttons on the form. That's pretty easy but the buttons are too big so i have to resize them. I can't resize the two of them together because it does moves the two radio buttons to a completely different spot on the form - it basically blanks out the top, left, right, bottom settings and moved the buttons all over the page. Of course when i create the buttons, the are added to the very bottom of the field list in the right pane. Well then the user can't tab properly through the form. So i try to move the field up the list (which is doable) but when i put it in the right spot, the program crashes on me. I have to recover the file, in some cases i have to recreate the radio buttons again. Then i save, then i try to move the field into it's proper place, cross my fingers and hope that it actually does the job without crashing again.

Resize PDF Pages
It would be very much appreciated if I could resize PDF pages in Acrobat. There's no easy way to do this in Acrobat Pro DC--really, no way except to place the PDF in InDesign and do it that way, which is laborious. This would particularly be helpful when I'm resizing books to create one PDF from multiple files.

Hide Page Controls by Default
Please add a setting to preferences to hide page controls by default on each new PDF.
I don't want page controls docked to the top of the screen because I never use them, so when I choose "Hide Page Controls" I would like it if they stayed hidden. Yet, every time I open a new PDF, there they are again. I have to choose "hide page controls" on every new document. They hide content on the PDF by constantly getting in the way. You either have to drag it around or choose the setting I mentioned earlier to see the content underneath it.

Save same actions
In the prepare feature, I can add a signature box and a drop down box but I have to create the drop down box each time. Since the information in the drop down box is the same for each PDF I prepare, I would like to be able to save it and make it a shortcut or have it remembered so I don't have to create for each PDF.

Add checkmark to multiple filtered Comments without also checking all the (unfiltered) comments in-between
When multiple comments contain the same text we can search for them and view them all, without seeing all other comments. However, if we then add a checkmark to all of these comments (by first selecting all of them and then clicking one of their checkmarks) all of the [hidden] comments (ones which didn't match the search) that appear on pages in-between are also given a checkmark. This is obvious if we have the 'Unchecked' filter selected, as when clearing the search many more comments have vanished, not just the ones which matched the search. Please fix it so that only the ones which we can see we are checking get checked!

Acrobat Pro Crashes in Edit Mode
When I select the drop-down arrow next to the bullet section (to select an alternative bullet design, like a check mark for example), my Acrobat immediately crashes. I have tried restarting my computer, but this seems to be a persistent bug.
Environment: Windows 10 Pro using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Expected result: Select drop-down and be presented with alternative bullet designs.
Observed result: Acrobat immediately crashes without saving my work.3 votes -
Acrobat program windows should be minimize itself after closing the last opened PDF file
I miss the feature that the Acrobat program window automatically minimized after closing the last opened PDF document. At the moment the Acrobat program window always stays open and hides the desktop.
I know of various keyboard shortcuts like WIN + Space + N or WIN + M, but the Acrobat program window should automatically minimize itself without additional action if the last opened PDF file was closed.
A setting in the Acrobat preferences for this behavior would also be conceivable and desirable.

Drag MS Word documents into an existing PDF - no longer works
We used to be able to drag MS Word documents into existing PDFs (in the thumbnail view), and the Word document would automatically be PDFed and combined with the existing PDF. This no longer works, and is causing certain tasks to take much longer than they used to.
