  1. Using PDF XFA forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4. Data stored in a Microsoft Access database is converted to an XML file and then imported into a blank PDF XFA form using importXFAData. My workgroup has been using this feature for over three years with huge success/satisfaction. With the recent update, the xml import stopped working leaving the PDF form fields blank. Any work around or update planned?

  2. After I open a pdf, A pop-up appears to "advertise' some particular feature such as 'fill & sign' for example. This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Also highly UNPROFESSIONAL as occurs during a potential client presentation.
Please DISABLE THIS IMMEDIATELY. We pay for the product - NOT for ADOBE advertise itself during my time.

  3. I download quite a few PDF files, typically ordinances/statutes/other regulations. Many files are quite long. Is it possible to automatically bookmark the chapter headings/articles/sections/subsections/etc? If not, it would be a very, very attractive feature to add. Even if it requires a few clicks to get the settings right. I'm sure adapting some of the redact features for this purpose would not be too big a stretch for the developers. Maybe?

  4. Each time the document is saved, the tag list collapses, losing the spot in the tag list. I also don't understand why multiple tags being highlighted means Properties is no longer available. It wasn't like that before.

  5. Hello,

Pertaining to Adobe Acrobat, is it possible to add a protection feature that prohibits files/pages from being extracted from portfolios or multiple file PDFs? It seems odd that this feature has not already been added as it freely allows for files to be saved and used for whatever purpose, which is anything but secure. I think this feature should be considered as it would allow for people's work to be better protected.

    Thanks in advance.

  7. When creating an Adobe Sign template, I need to be able to set the tab order of fields.

I can't use Adobe Sign for any moderately complex form (like an order form) because the form's field order drives my customers crazy.

  8. I would like to get a count of black only pages and a count of pages that contain color within a PDF. This is helpful as a print shop so we can charge appropriately for jobs that have mixed documents.

  10. I get too many email notifications. Suggestion: add new option in "My Events" email notification: "Agreement signed by all signers and filed" (currently the option "Agreement signed or approved" sends me email when each signer signs. I only want an email when all signers have signed and the "Agreement is signed and filed".

  11. I scan files on my phone and then download them to pc, usually as a batch, when I am selecting said files if I click outside the tiny box all of the previous files that I have individually clicked get unchecked and I have to start over before I can download files. changing that would be awesome, what would be even better is if I had the option to make a folder on my pc where the files could automatically be downloaded when I upload them from my phone. the whole binder download process works but it is somewhat clumsy.

  13. I have created a pdf fillable form and the date picker and the signature box only work when I open with Acrobat. Do these not work in Chrome or Edge? I don't want people to have to use special software to fill in the form.

  14. In past versions of Adobe, if I was saving multiple documents, the program would remember the last folder I saved the document to, so it would automatically go to that folder when saving another document. At the moment, it will only open temporary files and I will have to waste time clicking around to find the correct folder that I want to save the document to. There needs to be an update to allow the flexibility to save documents to the last folder selected.

    Hi,

Thanks for providing your feedback. The last folders where you have saved your previous files should get listed under the My computer section of the Save As dialog.

Can you please share the snapshot of your Save As dialog?

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  15. When I create a new pdf, I start scanning, the scanner scans all the pages but the adobe program just scans the 1st page. Its very annoying, it needs to be fixed.

  16. That's it. There is absolutely no reason why this option should not exist in a multipage document. As it stands you have to extract the page before you can print the current view. Another ridiculous time wasting "feature" from Adobe.

  17. Just like text boxes, check boxes, dropdown lists, etc are available controls to add to a form, it would be great to have a slider control as well. This control should be able to be horizontal or vertical, specify the default location of the slider, specify min and max values for a 0 - 100 percentage of the slider and assign a value to the percentage starting at the min to the max (IE 0% of the slider could be a value of 0 and a value of 100% could be 500 and a value of 50% would be 250…

  18. As of November 2019, Adobe "had no plans" to address the issue of comments printing on single pages instead of a summary in its truest definition - all comments on one page. 12 comments scattered across 6 pages, and contained about 1/2 a page of text characters required 12 individual pages for a "summary." ANY CORRECTION OF THIS ISSUE YET?

  19. Highlights are currently rounded at the edges, which makes it difficult for editors and compositors to tell whether the highlight applies to surrounding punctuation, spaces, and other narrow characters. Additionally, the blue boxes that appear around the highlights when they are clicked on often extend past the text that was actually selected, which can cause further confusion for those who need to edit things precisely.

Straight edges on highlights would allow for a clearer and more accurate view of what is being commented on. Please make this is an option in the Commenting preferences.

  20. I have some PDFs that I'd like to be able to draw on, either feedback on work for students or filling in templates. The pencil tool currently available doesn't do this smoothly (view screencapture example https://youtu.be/gr8UZYddzBo ). I'd like to be able to draw/write freehand like I can on a powerpoint presentation, so I can send notes and feedback to my students more easily.
