  2. In Adobe Acrobat DC Comments, the Lock icon adds unnecessary space to the already inefficient spacing (even without the lock, for some reason a lot of extra spacing was added). Is there a way to compress the spacing and/or remove the lock icon, which was never shown in previous versions of Acrobat? If not, the result of our company switching to acrobat DC is a reduction in productivity.

  4. In the new version od Adobe Acrobat (Pro DC) I can now longer show the highlight tool and other tools on the top toolbar - I need to click a few times to show the Comment tools. This wastes a lot of time.

  5. Collaborate Feature not available in Document Cloud Files, it is available in Creative Cloud files. Please include this option

Also there are no Shared PDF option, where in we can store a PDF on cloud and have a team to work on it. Just like in Foxit Or Sharepoint

Thanks for reaching out to us. For supporting collaborative viewing of PDF, Acrobat has come up with Send for Review option via the share button where the PDF is stored on the cloud and the team can add comments which will be visible to other users also with whom the file is shared.

User has not responded since long. Assuming resolved.

  7. Using CTL-E to set the Default Pin Color for the Highlight Icon is slow and requires several steps. Please allow for the creation of multiple highlight pin icons that a user can just select the required Color Highlight Icon for a one-set quick change of color.

  8. Some bug in my Acrobat Pro DC prevents me from using the Highlighter feature. Click on the button, go to text to highlight and program crashes. See attached doc for the crash report. Same kind of thing when I try to use the Stamp feature. Click on Stamp, go the the Standard Business, click the VOID stamp, go to doc and program crashes. See doc2 for the crash report. What can I do?

  9. Text Call Out from Comment Section incorrectly moves with arrow keys. While selected this tool moves down/left by all keys only. All other comment tools allow you to move items around / position by selecting the item and using the arrow keys while this one programmed different. Only solution is use the pick tool to grab and move with mouse.

  10. I don't know if it happens in languages other than Korean (at least not in English).
If I try to modify a comment, the last character I type is appended at the back.
For example, if I wrote "Hello world" and tried to add "Hi " at the front, last character "i" is added at the back so it becomes "HHello worldi". (This does not happen in English as I said)

    Hi,

Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (20.013.20064) containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.
More information about this release is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html

Please try it out and let us know your feedback!
Thanks for your patience and support!

    Regards,
    Arvind

  11. Each comment in the column on the right hast to be opened to be checked with done (check mark). But then the answer-field is opening and the answering field of the former comment will be closed. When the checkmark is not set, the comment is always shifting a bit up. That makes a work with 500 corrections really bumpy/uneasy.
The size of each comment is also too big. In the former version there were 17 comments on one screen, now there are just 9 comments!
Make one comment without opening and smaller and more clearly arranged without moving!!

The original issue reported in the main thread is resolved by giving a preference for checkbox in the latest release. The other issue reported by Ian Davis is under our radar and we will let the user know if we pick it for future release.

  12. Please create a preferences setting so that the commenting sidebar opens by default when opening a document. That's what I use 99% of the time, and it's irritating to have to open that up every single time.

  13. It would be nice if I could enter a name to use under Identity and could indicate to use this name regardless of how I am signed into acrobat. This way, comments added using my business or personal copy of Acrobat could show the exact same name. Thank you.

  14. Getting comment list to show in Acrobat DC takes way too much time. It's a drag. At least on Mac OS.

    Hi All,

We have provided a registry protected fix, some users confirmed that this worked for them.
Could you please try this at your end as well and let us know your feedback?
Kindly make sure you are on the latest DC build(20.012.20043) and then follow the steps from the attached word file: “Steps.docx”.

    Regards,
    Arvind

  15. I read ebooks always and use highlighter tool to highlight uding different colors.   I want the color palette to remain open always when I do.
so that choosing different colors will be easy

  18. I know that we need to keep the straight line on until I am finished with it instead of having to click on it every time I need to use it. I would like my three tier task bar back. Having to constantly click on the additional menu takes valuable time away from my project. Editing may be better but since I use Adobe to facilitate my bidding process, adding steps only hampers progress. Although I have Adobe Pro DC, I am going back to my Adobe Pro 9 since it was the last program that suites my business to…

  19. It would be really nice if the "Underline" tool was included in the right-click menu. Right now the Mac version has an option for highlighting and striking through, but not for underlining.

  20. This is no an idea. It is a utter disappointment that I paid for perpetual license for Acrobat Pro DC 2015 and I am getting nowhere to be able to draw multi-sided polygons. Always automatically ended a triangle after the third click. Same happens when drawing clouds. Cannot draw multiple segments of connected lines in the same line, always terminated after the second segment.
