  1. The comment markers are not resizing with the same level as the diagram and their position relative to the items in the diagram changes.

    can you make the comment boxes resize in the same level as the other object om a pdf page when zoming in or out in the future.

  2. When I set comments to only show unchecked comments, but then I reply to an unchecked comment, then check both that comment and my comment, it won't filter these newly checked comments.

    I have to choose "show all comments" then filter by unchecked again for it to work. Please fix.

  3. I'd like to request enabling the "Arrange Objects" button so that it can be used with Markup Objects (shapes & lines).

    It would be nice to "send to back" or "bring to front" on any object.

    Currently I have to:
    Copy an existing object
    Delete the existing object
    Paste a new copy of the object
    Re-align where that object should be

    This works ok if you want it in front but not easy to move it to back.

    Please enable this action button to be used with all objects.

  4. Is there a way to make this happen? I also tried exporting the pdf to Word and there was still no way to make the change happen automatically. I guess I should have exported the entire document to Word in the first place and done all my edits there. Now I have over 500 edits to insert by hand -- double the work.

  5. When changing an existing text box font color from the default color to a different color, the next time I open and use a text box, the font color is whatever color I last used.

    This is a nuisance, make it stop, if I set up a 'set as default' the font color for any 'new' text should stay that color, no matter if I change the font color later or not.

    The font color has different meanings (Actionable inputs) associated with the colors, when the action has been accomplished, I change the font color, this doesn't mean I want…

  6. In previous versions of Acrobat, in the Comments pane, there was an visual indicator of the color of the comments (comment bubble, lines, circles, highlights, etc.). But in Acrobat DC all the comments look the same. The color changes based on the AUTHOR NAME, which I suppose might be useful for some people, but not for me. The color of the comments in the comments pane needs to reflect the color of the actual comment, as it did in previous versions.

In Acrobat 9, the "comments" window displayed the COLOR of the corresponding sticky note (there was a small sticky note icon in each window that showed the color of the corresponding note).It was possible to quickly view and navigate to related pages/sections of the PDF even if the page was not directly viewable; I could quickly scan for all comments that were associated with a RED sticky note, or a BLUE one, etc, by simply scrolling through the comments -- it was not necessary to view the actual page of the PDF to check the color of the sticky note.

    I'm trying to use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for the second time. My job is to correct texts by using the "comment" function; my favourite function is sorting my comments by date, so that I can see what I did last. I love the function that the comment list is grouped by days; it happens frequently that I have 150, 300, 500, 1000 comments a day – and there the list seems to have a poblem: After a certain number of entries a day, I cannot scroll down anymore and the list is cut off at the…

  9. I highlight and annotate documents a lot for pre-production scripts to visualize filming production. I'd love to have the comment feature add more intuitive highlighting features and ability to link to a storyboard or visualization I have for that specific scene or line.

  11. I do a lot of commenting and the commenting tools used to work much better.
    Here are my top wishes:
    1. Instant 'add note to replace text'. It used to work, so that if you highlighted a word or a sentence, all you needed to do was to start writing and the text would appear in a blue comment box.
    2. When reviewing comments in a document, I really need an up and down arrow, so I can jump through all comments one at a time.
    3. Allow for ALL the commenting tools to be available in the main tool…

  12. Could Adobe add a tool for users to create, organize, and use precreated responses to common problems or questions? As a writing instructor, I would find this tool invaluable, as I respond to common problems in student writing. I expect other professionals who encounter situation where they offer similar responses to multiple documents would benefit from this tool. Thank you for considering this request.

  13. I have real estate projects that have multiple buildings on a map that get released for sale on a regular basis. I would love to have the ability to have the text box, or callout box, arrows, lines, etc. to change color based on status. For instance, I write "STARTED" in my text box and the box, text, and arrows attached to that text box turn Green. I write "FUTURE" and it turns Red.This way I can replace the underlying map, and color code the comments automatically based on criteria I select.

  15. The simple highlight text, underline and other markup tools take seconds to switch between. Do you mine bitcoin in between switching? :–) Also see requests "An Urgent Need for Better and Bolder Annotation Tools" and "Make it possible to copy highlighted text". You seem to answer only to selected comments. I enjoyed much better reception with my requests for bugs on the iPad app.

  16. I use annotated pdfs all day every day to get client edits and apply them in InDesign. I can't tell you (but I will attempt to try) how maddening it is to simply copy text from a comment box to paste into InDesign. Why can I not simply select the text?! I have to double click on the text that I want to copy, which opens a white box around the text. If I then double click again to select the text (without moving the cursor) it closes the box without copying the text! Instead of simply selecting the text…

  19. I want to be able to resize the comment list to a smaller size than currently available. Right now, the minimum width is much too big for my small laptop. It takes up three inches of the width of my screen space. The total width of the screen is 11.5 inches, which leaves not much for the actual document, especially if I'm looking at two-page spreads.

    Even when I used a huge 25-inch wide screen I need as much space as possible to compare two documents side by side. The wide comment lists get in the way.
