  1. Currently, typing ~ is assigned in Acrobat to BOTH "insert text at cursor" AND "output preview." It is completely unpredictable which action will result when I type ~.

I need to be able to bring up the "insert text a cursor" function without having to mouse all over the place.

    Please fix this bug.

  2. Please make an option to keep text formatting, like line feeds, when copying text between two text boxes in same PDF file. At the moment Acrobat DC removes all line feeds when content is copy&pasted which creates a lot of unnecessary "Enter" typing.
Maybe something like CTRL+SHIFT+V = keep formatting?

Copying the whole text box is not an options, because the text box is sometimes rotated when pasted to another page.

Alternative to this request would of course be to make the text box rotatable.

  3. The bottom edge of the comment pop-up window is measured from the letter baseline rather than the bottom of the descenders. This cuts off typographical descenders and inhibits quick reading of comments.

Different color option is available by using the color picker to change the color of the Pen.
The color picker is available in the tool bar. Please try that and let us know if that works for you.

  6. I had Adobe Pro 9. I used it at work to add stamps, and markup drawings. My machine was rebuilt and Adobe Standard XI was loaded. Very inefficient software for what I need. I searched for the comparison to XI Pro and am not convinced it is any better.
Some issues: preloaded stamps cannot be removed, each stamp has to be selected every time (9 would remember the last used), you cannot copy multiple objects using the control button, you cannot save a custom sheet sized when printing (previously you could, issue of width/length for some sizes being backwards still…

  7. I have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. For my work, I need to mark-up PDFs using Comment tools. When I style some text as superscript using either the feature available in the box that appears when I right click or the shortcut ctrl/shift/+ and then close the pop-up box the styling becomes subscript instead of superscript. I used Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for a long time and didn't have any problems. It is very frustrating that this doesn't work properly in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, especially as 'superscript' is offered as a feature in Comments

  9. When 'ticking off' comments that have been actioned on a PDF, when saved, those ticked check boxes don't show if someone else opens the PDF.

Please can the check box state be saved also, so all users can see what has been actioned (and save us all a lot of time going over amends!)

  10. Is there anyway to go back to the prior view? I understand that sometimes updates need to be done, however, existing functionality should not be taken away.

  12. In Adobe Acrobat DC Comments, the Lock icon adds unnecessary space to the already inefficient spacing (even without the lock, for some reason a lot of extra spacing was added). Is there a way to compress the spacing and/or remove the lock icon, which was never shown in previous versions of Acrobat? If not, the result of our company switching to acrobat DC is a reduction in productivity.

  14. In the new version od Adobe Acrobat (Pro DC) I can now longer show the highlight tool and other tools on the top toolbar - I need to click a few times to show the Comment tools. This wastes a lot of time.

  15. Collaborate Feature not available in Document Cloud Files, it is available in Creative Cloud files. Please include this option

Also there are no Shared PDF option, where in we can store a PDF on cloud and have a team to work on it. Just like in Foxit Or Sharepoint

Thanks for reaching out to us. For supporting collaborative viewing of PDF, Acrobat has come up with Send for Review option via the share button where the PDF is stored on the cloud and the team can add comments which will be visible to other users also with whom the file is shared.

User has not responded since long. Assuming resolved.

  17. Using CTL-E to set the Default Pin Color for the Highlight Icon is slow and requires several steps. Please allow for the creation of multiple highlight pin icons that a user can just select the required Color Highlight Icon for a one-set quick change of color.

  18. Some bug in my Acrobat Pro DC prevents me from using the Highlighter feature. Click on the button, go to text to highlight and program crashes. See attached doc for the crash report. Same kind of thing when I try to use the Stamp feature. Click on Stamp, go the the Standard Business, click the VOID stamp, go to doc and program crashes. See doc2 for the crash report. What can I do?

  19. Text Call Out from Comment Section incorrectly moves with arrow keys. While selected this tool moves down/left by all keys only. All other comment tools allow you to move items around / position by selecting the item and using the arrow keys while this one programmed different. Only solution is use the pick tool to grab and move with mouse.

  20. I don't know if it happens in languages other than Korean (at least not in English).
If I try to modify a comment, the last character I type is appended at the back.
For example, if I wrote "Hello world" and tried to add "Hi " at the front, last character "i" is added at the back so it becomes "HHello worldi". (This does not happen in English as I said)
