  1. Using Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.23 (Acrobat, not Reader), our PowerBuilder 12.5 application hangs for 8-10 seconds when an OLE PDF window is closed. The same delay is seen with Reader DC 17.012.20093 and all subsequent versions but is not seen with Reader DC 17.009.20058 and older, or Reader XI 11.0.23 and older.

There seems to be some delay in the destruction of the OLE PDF viewer object; the delay can even be seen when closing a window containing an OLE PDF viewer from PowerBuilder 12.5 IDE.

  3. Text call out tool issue . After commenting on a document , the color of the call out box is changes to blue and this property made "default" through " make current property default " option. This change is valid as long as acrobat pro application remains open . When the application is restarted , the text call out box reverts back to the original properties i.e. white in color . This problem comes for the text call out tool only and other drawings markups retain their set properties even after restarting the application.

  4. Acrobat Pro DC crashes after opening / closing some docs in sequence

    1. Open a pdf file using AVDoc.Open(...);
    2. Close opened pdf file by clicking window close button (Acrobat main window)
    3. Repeat this sequence 3-5 times without waiting too long
    • Crash will happen shortly after opening (pdf ist already visible)
    • Crash will not happen, if Acrobat main window hasn't been closed (close tabsheet instead)
    • Crash will not happen, if Acrobat Stnadard DC is used

  5. I have a comment box pop up when mousing over a page with multiple images. The Comment box was not put in by the current author and we can't seem to find a way to edit or erase the comment box. Any advice would be welcome.

  10. Adobe Sign updated today 11/14/2017 and now the SEND NOW button is gone and after chosing the only other option NEXT it opens UP the document again and I have to hit SEND again????? Serious regression in efficiency here. Please bring back the SEND NOW option, this is a very slow and tedious process now.

  11. I am signed in to Creative Cloud. When I open Acrobat DC I have to sign in to my account there as well. Then I attempt to send and track and I get prompted to sign in AGAIN. It confirms I am signed in and then I try send and track again and it asks me to sign in AGAIN. I have a fully paid subscription to multiple apps. The software just makes me sign in over and over and over again.

  12. I've got some text layers 95% opacity with drop shadow applied on Illustrator. Those Ai files are linked into a Indesign doc, exported as PDF but when I view the artworks on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version attached) there is a white box around the text. This only happens on Adobe Acrobat. If I use Mac Preview it looks fine. I can only fix the issue if I make the text layer 100% opacity in Illustrator. This bug only happens when the doc is viewed on any zooms that are 100% or less. It looks fine on 125% or over…

  13. Bug - I have up to date Microsoft Outlook for mac (subscription) as well as a subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. The idea of a subscription (which is pretty expensive) is that you get the most recent version of the software.

I have been using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for about two weeks now. My experience has been very negative. The specific issue that annoys me is the ability to email a PDF file. When I attempt to do this one of two things happen:

    1) The system just goes into Beach ball spinning mode - have to force…

    Hi Sarah

Can you please be little more specific?
Are you talking about “Change Page Size” → “Custom” option where you want this functionality?

    Thanks

  16. If you use the "Set Pages Boxes" and apply the entered correction with "OK" the scrollbar moves to the top of the side. So I have to scroll down again to check my correction. If you have to work really detailed, it's quite annoying to scroll down again and again....

Or if its specific to some files, can you please share the files with us?

  19. When printing an Internet-Document from Firefox 57 the print generates multiple errors if the title of the document to print contains quotation marks. The error box mentions: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2015\Acrobat\Intellektuelle" Diese Datei kann nicht geöffnet werden." (The file could not be opened. Verify the correct location." - should be the approximate translation.)

Where the "Intellektuelle" is the first word of the documet title inside the quotation marks. The same error appears for every word in the title and one additional time. The PDF finally generated contains only part of the document to print. You could try it with the…

  20. Hello,

in Acrobat Pro DC 2017 and Acrobat Reader DC 2017, the software often stucks during print of certain pages. Compared 1:1 to Reader XI, the old version also takes more time for these pages compared to the other ones but there is a large difference between there versions. In the attached screenshots you can see the difference between these two versions with the printing job started at the same time. The problem occurs while using Windows 7 and Windows 10.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Adobe is working with Microsoft to resolve the problem. Meanwhile, you can manually tweak the registry as a workaround,
    Steps:
    1. Open the registry by going to Run (Windows menu + R), typing regedit.exe, and then clicking OK.
    2.Do the following:

Based on your installed version of product and release, navigate to the location and create a corresponding key of type DWORD (Wow6432Node only if your machine is 64-bit).
Create the key FeatureState at the location listed below; the key is not present by default.
    For Acrobat DC 2017:

    Key: 4033257
    Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\(Wow6432Node)\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureState

For more refer to page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/prn-files-using-pcl-printing-increases-file-size.html
    Is this resolve your issue?

    Best Regards!
