  2. Good afternoon. I need to create hundreds of 1 page certificates. In MS Word I use the Mail Merge to include the participants names and signature. I convert all of them into a pdf file. With Adobe Acrobat Pro, I bookmark every certificate with the participants name. Before the name, I need to write "Certificate" so the name of each pdf would be for example "Certificate Joe Doe". I do this manually in the bookmark part. Then, in the Organize Pages part, I split them by Top Level Bookmarks. In Output Options, I wish there would be an…

  3. Starring PDFs is great but, you usually star PDFs that you use ALL the time and that you want to have displayed at the top of the Home tab. But what if you don't want to have them displayed up at the top but you want to have them in a place where the rest of the similar PDFs are, that's where a very useful feature called "Labeling" that would be great to have in Acrobat comes into play. It would be the ability to make custom labels (e.g. School or Work, or ProjectX) for PDFs so you could have…

  4. When accessing Adobe Document Cloud via the Adobe Acrobat Pro desktop version, the application is using Google Chrome (80.x) agent internally.
The current version of chrome is 92.x.

Our company does not allow chrome versions below 82.x as this is insecure and has many vulnerabilities rendering the desktop version useless for us. Will adobe look to update this in the future?

  5. There seems to be a bug in Acrobat Pro DC. Since I switched to a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020), the page transitions in Acrobat do not work. I only have an ugly cut from one page to the next. Please advise.
    Thanks

  10. Im trying to move my scanned documents from Dropbox to : documentcloud.adobe.com.
However, i cant upload files with it contents , i have to manually upload each file content separately, which will take a long time... please add an option that i can upload files (that can contain files within and documents ) to make me keep my already organized data and make it easier to copy all my data to adobe cloud service . Thank you.

  11. You should be able to set defaults for zooming and scrolling preferences that would apply for all documents so that you do not have to repeatedly do so for every pdf document you open.

  13. When importing text into Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, it often has single character errors throughout the document. In using your Find/Replace feature, it only worked once for only some of the instances. I think it has to do with your default to "whole word" being greyed out, but honestly this should be a straight-forward feature! It should allow any text string to be replaced throughout the document, especially formatting characters caused by import errors. Also, I did try the redact feature and it did NOT work as I need the formatting to be corrected. Additionally, although I did get a…

  14. Acrobat Pro Feature Request

I have a document that is approximately 6x3". I need to output this document to two different PDF deliverable files:

    1) at the 6"x3" size, for use on a tiny screen

    and

    2) on 8.5"x11" size with 3 tiny pages per sheet, for efficient printout on standard paper or viewing in PDF

I save my source content to the 6"x3" size and get a beautiful PDF file. Deliverable 1 looks great.

But, I cannot save my source content to PDF with multiple pages per sheet (from Word).

Also, from Acrobat, I cannot save the output 1…

  16. I want the ability to end a "Shared Review" (to prevent new comments from coming in) yet still have access to the comments after I've closed a review to additional comments.

Currently, I have to leave Shared Reviews open until I've cleaned up/followed-up on each of the comments reviewers have left or else the comments disappear.

I don't like the options for saving/printing/outputting the comments to paper or files; they're not nearly as useful as having it all right in Acrobat Pro with the tools I normally use.

Please add the feature to close a shared review to new comments…

  17. Unfortunately, we have found there is no current way that Adobe allows clients to track their perpetual licensing. When I found that my predecessor had not shared which devices our Adobe Pro perpetual licenses were installed on, we have no way of knowing who has the licenses without a severe amount of legwork. It would be supportive to the client to provide some means of tracking which machines perpetual licenses are currently linked to, especially in the case where a machine gets wiped and a license may still be linked to that machine. Thank you kindly Adobe Dev folks for…

  18. I am using Acrobat DC Pro Version 2021.007.20099.

My system details are CPU i9-10920x, GPU NVidia 3090 Studio driver 472.12, 256GB RAM, sveral m2 and SSD drives, Windows 10 Pro 21H1. I use two Eizo CS2721 monitors in 10 bit mode and both are calibrated and profiled using Eizo's colour navigator 7 software to produce v2 profiles.

    The issue :

I create a document in InDesign including 3 placed images each based on the same image but converted and tagged with a different profile in Photoshop (ARGB,sRGB,ProPhoto) . All three, as expected, look identical on the InDesign page as they…

  19. I would like to be able to send Request Signature documents from inside of Adobe that are password protected. It seems silly that we can password protect documents from inside of adobe for viewing but can't select a recipient to send the that same documents for them to view, sign, and return, all while being password protected. I guess if security is of the utmost concern then Adobe is not the program you should select to send secure documents. I hope they fix this function soon.
