  1. Wow. I LOVE your products, but HOLY S&*T was it difficult to get to a point where I could actually "Contact" adobe. As a professional UX designer (sorry for how that must sound...) this UX is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for a company of your prestige.

Here is my issue, I used to be able to drag .png files into Adobe Acrobat and the software would brilliantly ask me if I wanted to combine these pngs into a single file, "Why yes, Thats exactly what I want! Thank you."

This worked flawlessly for the last year. Now, out of nowhere, the program…

  4. When 'ticking off' comments that have been actioned on a PDF, when saved, those ticked check boxes don't show if someone else opens the PDF.

Please can the check box state be saved also, so all users can see what has been actioned (and save us all a lot of time going over amends!)

  5. These two icons do 2 completely different functions from one another. They have appeared the same for ages now. I think it is finally time to create a new Icon look for one or the other. Having both on my quick tools is rather daunting because they look exactly the same.

    Hi Samantha

We have raised your concern with the feature team and they are looking into this.
Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

  6. A "Print as Handouts" feature similar to the 2x6 feature in Microsoft PowerPoint. It is common for lecture slides to be released as single slide per page pdf documents, rather than the original PPT file. Because of this, you can only choose to print a number of pages per page (slides per page) in Adobe Acrobat but there is no option, like in powerpoint, for handouts (that is, have 3 slides/pages on the left side of a sheet and 3 boxes to the right that are blank with ruled lines on it for taking notes).

  7. Acrobat DC came pre-installed on my new computer at Christmas. I don't need to use it very often. However, when I do, my firewall software goes ballistic with requests from Acrobat for access to programs and resources I consider it has absolutely no business with. I am constantly denying requests. I have recently downloaded and I'm currently testing another PDF reader. Acrobat has become intolerable. Thanks, but no thanks. Sean

  11. Is there anyway to go back to the prior view? I understand that sometimes updates need to be done, however, existing functionality should not be taken away.

  12. Can we get the Acrobat XI version of the Scanning stuff back? This multiple page setup in order to get to scanning a document is horrendous. When you update things, try to avoid bloating them into more steps, more bells and whistles that are just eye candy and do little to enhance anything....I like when we go update and find out that the newer version has less garbage on it, less junk added to it for overall performance gain instead of the industry standard of new versions = more bloated programming = less productivity and horrible GUI - Why does…

  14. Google Chrome = Latest Version
    Acrobat X Pro
Observation: Had no problem prior until 7/28/2017 when I noticed I had problem printing from a webpage (e.g. eBay.com) to PDF using Adobe Acrobat print driver. The printing would stall and this Distiller error would show up each time. Also strange is, I could clear this error message other than restarting my computer. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

  16. With over 250 million speakers, Bengali is the seventh most spoken native language in the world. Unfortunately there is no Bengali language support for OCR in Adobe Acrobat Pro. It would be extremely helpful for Bengali language community if Bengali is added in OCR. Thank you.

  18. Customer sent in a business card as a pdf file. I open the file in Adobe Acrobat 10 is shows the complete card with colored background. I open the same file in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and the coloured background is no longer there and will not print as part of the card. If i open the said file in Illustrator and resave it as a pdf, it appears on Acrobat DC. This situation has occurred 3 or 4 times since getting DC approx. 1 month ago. Not very confident in Adobe DC printing what is in file.

  19. Allow an option to extract a part of a PDF page and save as a new file so it is a new file only showing what you want. This would be similar to cropping and then print to PDF the cropped page to eliminate the extra file size. The key is to keep the original file resolution / clarity.

    Hi James

You can extract complete page/pages using the pages app. Once extracted you can crop the new file as per your needs. This would maintain the original file resolution / clarity as required by you.
Please let me know if this works for you.

    Regards
    Vivek

  20. Acrobat Pro DC 2017, Mac running Sierra 10.12.6. Starting with three single-page PDFs created out of Illustrator. Create>Combine files into single PDF, Add open files creates a single page file of the second file added, ignoring the additional two files. If I do not have the files open and use Create>Combine files and navigate to the files in the Finder, nothing happens at all. No error messages, no crash. As always, these commands work fine in Acrobat Pro XI.
