  1. Compare files - text is flagging as discrepancy

    We use Adobe to compare PDF file that comes from two different system.
    Left side is our internal and right side is from another system.
    We copy over the format of the other system for us to compare it perfectly in Adobe.
    But no matter how we adjust the alignment and spacing, we still encounter below discrepancy flag.
    As you notice, the text are exactly the same.
    And also how come the font size of the PDF that comes from our internal system become lesser when convert to Adobe (from 8 to 7.98)

    Can you help us how to sort…

    Hi,

    There’s a difference in the font size between the characters in the files shared by you because the application used to create the two PDFs is different. Please try comparing the PDF files created using the same application and let me know if you’re still facing the issue.

  2. Page numbering on a contact sheet

    I would like to be able to add page numbers to a file of photos and be able to print them as a contact sheet with the numbers just next to each thumbnail.

    The file I'm printing is of an attack where someone wrenched the phone out of my hand so for a lot of the video it's impossible to tell which way is up.

    A time and date stamp would also be very useful, as I'm preparing this for a court hearing.

  3. digital signature bug coding probem

    Issue with Distinguished name having extra charterers in it. looks like the coding was added to the string as well.

    example:

    cn=name
    o=company name
    ou=title
    email=jsmith@email.com
    c=US

  4. Acrobat DC not opening pdf files on Mac

    Can't open pdf in Acrobat DC. The wheel spins and the program has to be forcefully quit. The program stops working as it prepares the file for reading.

  5. Highlighting doesn't print

    In previous versions, I could highlight text and the highlighting would print when the document was printed. Now it does not.

  6. overprint

    Add Overprint Black Feature

    Suppose, a file contains 100+ pages. It's colored, then I want to ad overprint black in Acrobat DC Pro.

    This will save us from using other software & It will save our time.

  8. Ink signature without digital ID

    In Adobe XI we were able to sign things without creating an account and a digital ID. It just brought up a box that could be drawn in, aka the Ink Signature.

    Adobe DC needs a way to use the Ink Signature without creating an account every time. Our workflow demands that hundreds of people sign documents, and every person who comes in should not have to create an account to sign a simple form.

  9. I wish I could speak or text someone about changing the credit card I had been using.

    Why can't I find a phone # or be able to text someone about how to change the Credit Card Number so the payment can come to your company.

    Adobe Acrobat / Reader currently does not support Chinese SM2 Digital Signature Algorithm.

  12. new measure tool is useless

    I want my old desktop downloaded 2011 version back with all of the functions intact. Paying an annual subscription for less functions and usability is garbage. We are a construction company that gets hundreds of project drawings in pdf format from owners and contractors. The new measure tool is one of my biggest complaints about the updated software. The measure tool basically has 1 function and it never works properly. If you do not have an original CAD or DWG file and the software to support it you cannot measure anything properly. I can no longer check or measure angles…

  16. View nested animation in AE and Flash/Animate in main composition/timeline would be extremely useful for animating complex scenes.

    With Flash/Animate for years, I've had trouble with nested animations. In order to use the nesting to its full potential, and for organization, I will animate small pieces in nested animations (Flash) and am now trying to use pre-Composite groups on the main composition (AfterEffects). For multiple items, and for many nested animations, it's extremely difficult to create a uniform animation when I can't see what's happening in the Main Composition/ Timeline while in the nested animation or pre-composite.   17. DMARC Alignment

    Send & Track emails do not have aligned RFC5321.MailFrom and RFC5322.From fields, thus fail DMARC checking as per acrobat.com policy of "p=reject", which instructs receiving MTAs to reject or bounce misaligned messages.

    Proof attached.

    Please either:
    A) allow users to change the RFC5322.From field in the product UI
    B) or, create a separate subdomain for Send & Track messages with DMARC policy of "p=none"

    This will ensure better deliverability.

  18. tab order

    Please fix the tab order. When it's set to structure, the document does not tab sequentially from left to right. When trying to correct this in the order panel, everything jumps around on it's own as you move fields. It's extremely frustrating!
