  1. If you go into a saved document and change something you cannot save it you have to save it as a completely separate document. i.e. I edit one line to be italicized and hit save and I get a pop up error that states, "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder.

    1) I am the only user
    2) I created the .pdf document yesterday and did NOT make it read-only.

  2. On "Adobe Sign", after filling in the Recipients, the Message, etc, the user is given an option to "Preview and Add Signature Fields".

However, after clicking "send" and being taken to the "add signature fields" page, there is no way to then look at the recipients, and the password before hitting send for the last time.

If the user realizes another signatory is needed, he must delete all of his work, and start over because there is no way to go back to edit the message or recipients or password after clicking "send".

The "Send" button is either a misnomer…

  3. Add option for controlling how pdfs control the fields on multiple pages. If you have 2 forms that share field names but have different data, right now, when you change one field on one page, it changes the fields on the 2nd page. There should be option to set each page to treat the fields separately. Then when you change a field on page #1, it won't change that field on page #2 also. Docusign has this option.

  4. Add option to include Name and Email on sent docs. Not just email. Then the name will be auto inserted into the signature and person does not have to type their name. They only have to click to sign. It is very cumbersome to have to type your name and sign. Docusign and many other systems do this. Adobe only one that doesn't allow you to enter name

  5. Add option to disable auto email of sent documents. It is annoying to get 100's of unecessary emails if you don't need notification of sent docs..

  6. Please add the Pinning of Bookmarks/Pages on the left hand pannel to Adobe Professional DC (Classic).
We have end users who scan thousands of pages a day and find this to be an unacceptable waste of time.

  8. Greetings, dear colleagues!

I want to use Advanced Search of the Acrobat XI in order to perform the following search query:
    cat AND "barking dog"

However by trials and errors I found that this syntax does not work in Boolean query mode of the Advanced Search.

It would be great to have such simple, but extremely useful search option

    Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback. Acrobat XI is now out of active development, but we are making a note of your feature request.
    Thanks again for reporting

    1. Since the indexing will index the all multiple pdfs. Type ahead search should be supported. Instead currently the user has to type and enter search for the search results.
    2. Since the indexing will index the all multiple pdfs. Type ahead search with number of hits found should be shown before hitting the search
    3. Searching should be as fast as google. 10,000 pdf files of 100kb each and type ahead search should be less than a second
    4. Other than scroll bar for navigating the results there should be a easier way to filter the search results.
    5. Grouping of folders wise doesn't…

  9. I want Adobe Acrobat Pro 17 to work at least half as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro XI that did the jobs I needed wonderfully well for me. I NEED TO CLOSE THE RIGHT PANEL JUST LIKE I COULD IN XI!!!!!!!!!!! i SEE OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT TOO. If something wasn't broke in older version why "fix it" with this one. It interferes with my ability to follow through on searched text and read same with the split screen capability Windows offers! PLEASE FIX IT SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I download the acrobatproDC_dlm disk image on my Macbook Pro running 10.12.5 using the Chrome browser.
    This download proceeds normally.

After mounting the disk image and starting the installer app, it fails as 29% saying: "Safari must be closed in order to proceed". This comes up in a dialog box with Retry and Close buttons. Retry always fails with the same error message. Close, of course, closes the installer.

The trouble is that Safari is not running!

I finally figured out that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC was running and this was the cause of the installation failure.

    Please correct the…

  11. In previous versions of Acrobat, it was a LOT easier to see which comment on a page was selected. There sue to be marching ants. Now, there is just a thin blue line that doesn't march. Please bring back the marching ants so it's easier to see what is selected. Our eyes aren't getting any younger!

  12. Currently, you can restrict print and save, but cannot restrict Save As. Would like to see that restriction added as well.
    Thanks for your consideration.

  14. I have filled up a form using Foxit Reader. When I tried to open the form with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC I got error "The document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document".

I tried some other PDF programs, no issue when opening this form.

  16. Create shortcut on Home page to "Create PDF from Scan". A lot of users primarily use Acrobat to create pdfs from paper. It shouldn't take 4 mouse clicks to get this done. Also, there is now no way to use keyboard shortcuts to effect a scan. Alt-F-R-S is as far as one can go because the new blue Scan button does not have a keyboard shortcut.

  17. I think Adobe Acrobat Pro DC should work as Acrobat Reader after the trial period ends. This way, like in my case, people that want to buy a monthly subscription on and off can still use it as Acrobat Reader and don't need to install Acrobat Reader separately.

  18. I'm trying to deskew a PDF in Acrobat Pro DC, but it will only work when compression is on at the 3rd lowest setting.
When trying to go higher or turn compression off the deskew fails.

  19. I don't know how this happened, but I exported a print out of a web page that was sized at 8.5x11 as a PDF, and when I opened the PDF in Adobe DC, somehow the page size turned into 13.17x16.78, and now when I print the PDF, it cuts out everything on the page that is outside of the 8.5x11 paper size. I have been trying and trying to just resize the PDF to 8.5x11, but I can't find this feature anywhere - and I've really been looking hard! So if there was a way you could add a feature…
