  3. When you create your Digital Signature thru the Sign With A Digital ID Wizard that say you like how your first name looks but then when you get to your last name and you make a mistake that instead of clicking the Clear Button to start over that you could Click a Button that says Undo instead as this would really save a lot of time in the long run being that it takes quite a while and too long at that to do that if you like it to look just right both ways both first and last name.

  4. When you click the Signature Field to put your Digital Signature there it would be nice after you put it there that you could stretch your signature to make it larger to fit the Signature Line because it's way too small looking when you print the whole document out.

  6. Acrobat CC has suddenly started using excessive amounts of RAM to the point that it is paused and has to be quit and restarted. This also happens if left alone with no files open.
Having pitstop plugin open or not makes no difference. This is on an imac retina 5k late 2014 with 16gbs ram and only started happening Sept 1 2017, Acrobat CC has been installed for at least a year with no issues (and other versions before that have not had this issue).
The RAM usage seems to increase much more quickly if it is an image heavy…

  7. Brand new Win 10 Surface Book with everything updated including Acrobat. When highlighting and adding comments to a scanned handwritten document, DC PRO crashed and hours of work were lost as the file I was working on was not in the temporary saved files. In troubleshooting, I found that auto-save to temporary files was not turned on in preferences. I am used to working with MS Word which automatically saves every document you have opened and changed and I assumed Adobe would do likewise. I have not had a crash like this on DC PRO like many others have reported…

  9. Hi Team,

The functionality of PDF comparison that was available in Acrobat Pro 8 was great and would like to use the same, could you please guide, if we have license for Acrobat Pro DC then we could use the earlier version.

Especially for textual comparison of pdfs.

    Thanks,
    Raj

  10. Whose stupid idea was it to make drag and drop also copy pages when in the organize pages tool? And then why doesn’t ctrl z undo that copy and reselect the pages? This is literally how everything else works.

But somehow a slight slip in this program means I need to close the file, don’t save and reselect 200 pages again to delete them because of this.

    Hi

We tried with several files and dragging does not copy the pages.
Is it specific to some files or is there a defined way to replicate it?
If file specific, can you please share the files with us?

This would help us investigate faster.

    Thanks
    Vivek

  11. Several of our clients who use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC have complained of issues printing PDF's. After troubleshooting the issue we found the cause to be the Enhanced Security option located in Security (Enhanced) in the Preferences. If this option is enabled, disabling it allows our staff to print. We even came to a point where we had to enable it and then disable it to fix printing. This issue seems to have started several weeks ago.

    OS affected:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Windows 7 Pro

  12. The banner (top of the frame) is too large, as is the Find box when you ctrl+F. When you try to fix this in the properties area, this area is also too large. I am assuming this is making an apply button run off of the visible area of the window. When i try to fix the resolution (from Auto-Detect, which I'm assuming is also part of the problem) to 100% it doesn't fix it when I close the window (which is why I assume there is an "apply" button that I cannot see or use - See Bottom of…

  13. The tool sidebar is too close to the scroll bar, and make it difficult to use and select the scroll bar, which is almost always used. Make the position and/or the visibility of the tools sidebar a preference, since this redundant control is available using many other existing ways. This is the must frustrating, duplicative, and unusually located user control I have seen in many years.

  14. Trying to select which pages to extract by clicking on thumbnails is next to impossible. Whoever thought of this system has never tried to extract multiple non-consecutive pages from a large document - they all look the same when shrunk to 1 inch tall. Can we just extract by highlighting bookmarks?

  16. If I want to print a file from any program (anyway Microsoft Word or any picture or any drawing from my CAD Programm) with the printer "adobe.pdf" as pdf, it always produces a portrait format-pdf, even if the original file is in cross-format. Attached files as sample.
    Maybe it is a bug?

    Hi,

While printing you have to select Landscape mode.
Go to ‘File>Print>Printer Properties>Layout>Orientation’ select Lanscape.

    Best Regards!

  17. The "Find" Pop-up on the right-upper corner obstructs document viewing and it's very annoying. Whenever I need to see what's behind that pop-up, I need to esc to close the pop-up and Cmd+F again to commence with search.

I'm using the Mac OS version of Acrobat DC.

  18. An option to track changes to a fill-able pdf by the signer. Docusign has this option. You can download a sprea sheet and it shows the original values and the final values. So you can compare and see what was changed.

  19. I created a nice form, loaded it to the web, tested it and when I clicked the "Submit" button - nada! Researched, tried other methods and when I finally called support, I was told that Acrobat DC can't/won't email completed pdf forms from the web! But maybe it would work if I could find someone who could code the javascript for me. So I found the javascript (I can do some coding) and this.maildoc() doesn't work.

Why bother with this? It was a huge waste of time. There are on-line pdf form companies that charge less and claim to offer…
