  1. For the love of dog, I want every. single. PDF. to open "Fit One Full Page". Always! Why is there not a default, and if there is a way to default it so I don't have to do it manually every stinking time please someone tell me!

  2. DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
    The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

    If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

    Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
    Let me know if that solves your concern.

    Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  3. Enhance scan w/text recognition wipes out important image feature in Acrobat DC. After scan figs 1 and two are nearly missing. very bad - this is new problem since last update.

  4. As you are well aware, the users of Adobe Acrobat (or similar products) usually apply ‘Highlight Text’ to highlight or summarize parts of the text or the book that they are reading in PDF format.

    After finishing to read the text, if the user can have the ability to extract (in one step) all the highlighted parts in the format of a MS Word or other PDF file; this can be very handy and helpful; since this way the user can easily make an outlined summary of the read text or book ready for future references.

Please allow the digital signature options (and the comment, specifically the dynamic stamp (who came up with that unintuitive name and why??), options) to remain in the toolbar from document to document so I do not need to go through the same multi-step process over and over again when approving or signing a number of documents in a row. I see that you've noted that "streamline digital signing" below has been resolved - nope, it has not. In the attached I've shown the steps it takes to put a dynamic stamp on a PDF. Each. Time. Please fix. Thank you.

  6. In the previous version of Adobe Acrobat DC, in Organize Pages, I could select a thumbnail and move the page to a new location. What happened to that feature? I am beside myself as I used that feature ALL THE TIME!

    PLEASE BRING IT BACK or tell me how to move pages now that it is gone. I don't have a select page range option which I saw on different forums. WHAT AM I MISSING

  7. Auto update feature cannot be turned off. This is a fundamental flaw in your software. No software should ever update without permission of ownder.

  8. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC and MadCap Flare 2018 r2 on a Windows 10 operating system.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Build a PDF in Flare.
    2. Open the PDF from inside Flare.
    3. Double-click on a different PDF in Windows Explorer.

    Expected result: Second PDF opens.
    Actual result: Second PDF does not open. The error message that shows up sometime later says: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

    MadCap support has been unable to resolve the issue.

  9. The new way is very long winded. sometimes the Share window doesnt open. PLEASE allow 1 click to send via default email client as in the last version.

  11. I have set scheduled runnig a batch file whcih indexes over 65,000 PDF files every weekend.
    However CPU utilization is over 95% when index creating.

    Is there any way decreasing CPU utilization when index creating?

  14. The "To" Column on Shared files index is a very important reference feature that was lost in updates. Would very much appreciate having it back. Makes reviews and finding reviews much easier and quicker, especially when same doc might have gone to different groups. Thanks so much for great tools!

  15. There is a bug in this software that does not allow you to save the document. A blank window pops up and nothing shows, i.e. where the file could be saved. Only after several attempts does the "save as" window fully show up. What is the solution for this bug?

  17. Acrobat DC. since the update on 10.23.18, will not open files, making it rather useless. I have tried uninstall/reinstall; this will get one file opened one time. On a second launch, it again will not open any file. Am I going to have to uninstall/reinstall EVERY time I want to open a file?

    2) Which OS are you on.
    3) What happens when you try to open Acrobat (Any error message? or Acrobat doesn’t launch?)

  18. I am working, and do not have time to invest in accepting or rejecting your popup leads for new Adobe products or tutorials. Send an email with this information. Adobe has lost most of its dignity as a solutions provider. There is a new ambulance chaser in Software City.

  20. When my team uses the updated Shared Review, they do not have access to all of the commenting tools as they did prior to the update.

    The REPLACE TEXT, INSERT TEXT etc. are vital to our review process. Not having these tools available prevents us from updating the InDesign layout using the new PDF COMMENTS feature.

    So, to sum it up, we were excited about updates that are not working because they were not fully deployed with the features we need.
