  2. "box" around highlighted text cannot be removed; once a section of text is highlighted the text is "separated" from the rest of the text and cannot be "normalized" even if the color is removed using the properties function

  3. In Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    On "Add an Account". I can add a PDF file through public clouds (i.e., Dropbox, Google Drive, Sharepoint, etc).

    What about private clouds (Synology, QNAP, etc). Many small businesses use these as essential tools to share files and access their documents.

    Would kindly request that private NAS units -- or a user or businesses private cloud such as a Synology or QNAP cloud, be added the program. So users can get their PDF files from this private cloud.

  5. I use Word 365 of a main docment to generate a PDF, and remediate in Acrobat DC. I have to add in pages in the fron an back of the document that comprises the front and back covers (also from Word). (The cover PDFs also pass accessibility check).

    However, when I drag one page into the Main document PDF and run the accessiblity checker, all the hyperlinks that tested OK in the main document now generate a 'tagged annotations' error.

    Normally, remediating such errors is easy: you show in the content panel, find the unmarked links/annotations and tag them appropriately.

  6. In Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 10, a text annotation could not input in 2 page layout with scroll.
    Firstly, input text with text annotaion tool to left page. Secondly, input text to right page. I could not input text to right page.

  7. I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.
    Users have been asking about this issue for at least seven years now – what's so hard about changing the highlight color for the document (again, NOT my personal settings)? I can change the text and box color once the field is selected, but the default box…

  8. I am creating a PDF by combining multiple separate PDFs into one document. It will be used as a handbook, combining many different types of guidelines from contact lists and text to maps and graphics. PDF will allow people to download the full handbook for offline use but edit it often, replacing old versions of the combined documents whenever necessary. A automatically updating table would be extremely beneficial to this project as I anticipate people will be removing, adding and replacing pages often.

  9. When I specify in the Acrobat DC Preferences a HiDPI definition (163 dpi for a 27" 4K monitor) and when the OSX Mojave is adjusted on a logic definition of 2560x1440 pix, Acrobat mistakes at displaying actual size of PDF: the application displays documents as if the definition was lower. As a consequence the documents on screen appear bigger than they should.

  10. There is nothing more frustrating that being invoice in USD when we are in Canada! It is a doable thing to add another currency to an accounting program. SO DO IT!

  11. My old adobe used to keep the comments tab open. This updated version closes it constantly, anytime I press escape out of one of the comment tools and it's a pain. I do a lot of markups using adobe and it makes me want to just print and hand-redline the drawings instead. PLEASE bring back the "always open" option for the comments tab...

  12. There should be a way that you can drag/drop an email into Adobe so that it converts the email (Outlook) into a PDF, and ALSO converts and combines the attachments onto the PDF. The way I know to do this is extremely clunky and includes having to download each attachment separately to later have to use the combine feature to add each one.

  14. In the Acrobat DC program there is no function “select the same fill / stroke color. Such a function exists in the program Illustrator and I often use it. The ability to select an object by color can help me remove unnecessary markup from a PDF file without opening the file in Illustrator.

  15. Adobe reader is too simple and Adobe DC is too powerful.
    You need to be meeting businesses to have an Adobe where you can create forms, add stamps, combine pages and sign but not edit the document. Just to focus liabilities on people who have editing capabilities.
    Editing capabilities should be a feature that can be turned off at installation.

  16. When creating a Binder that includes the same underlying PDF/pages multiple times, it would be great to be able to turn off the feature that puts the same text into the same fields in each PDF. For example, if someone using my Binder has 3 children named John, Jane and Robert, I'd like the ability to say whether when they fill in John on the first page/pdf, it appears in the 2nd and 3rd pages/pdfs or not, without having to create different underlying PDFs with different field names.   17. I want to search for a particular word throughout the document excluding the header and footer. This feature is helpful when you are trying to get rid of some words in your document and only first instance of the header/footer shows up and is ignored going forward.
    For example, I want to replace XYZ in the topic "Installing XYZ". I would like only the first instance of the header/footer to show up in that topic. The next search should not highlight the header/footer instances. This saves a lot of time while searching and replacing!

  18. Please give an option to disable or set as default 'me' for your new tool which you have forced everyone to use 'fill and sign'. You obviously have not considered your users who have to open hundreds of forms and having to select this unnecessary option every single time.

  19. When Autotag is run in Acrobat Pro, it puts hyperlinks on all numbers, such as numerical data in tables, page numbers, and random numbers within the body text.

  20. new update broke outlook when using the share via email option. after doing that, outlook hangs until exiting completely out of Acrobat DC.
