1. Error saving when destination folder name is changed

   Changes are not able to be saved when source or destination folder name of document is changed while editing. Changing folder names is common on Mac OSX and applications typically do not have issues tracking folder name changes while the application and document is open.

   1. To reproduce on OSX, open a PDF document and make edits. Change the name of the folder the PDF resides in. Attempt to save changes. Acrobat shows this error "The document could not be saved. The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." Choose another folder on the system that has not been changed and attempt to save the document. Acrobat shows this error on any other folder "The document could not be saved. A file error has occurred."
   2. Mac OS 10.12.6. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2018.009.20050. No plugins installed
   3. Expected result is changes to document can be saved in any location without being lost.
   4. Changes to document are lost due to this error.

   The error is expected since you are changing the source folder name while the file-inside is in Write-mode.

   You can try Save As to not lose any changes.

   Just for information, on windows – you cannot change the source folder name while a file, is in write-mode.

2. Problems faced while using Dc pro.

   Sir I am using Adobe acrobat Dc pro version and I have been able to just export three pdf files to word files and it is not working .

4. Acrobat is invasive, like spyware now. Why does it install a "helper" in my startup items?

   It would be nice if Acrobat was not so cloud dependent, not always needing updating, not always trying to install "helpers" on my computer, etc. Given Adobe's track record with security, I don't want my computer constantly tethered to your mediocre service.

5. Acrobat DC can not sign document.. stuck in retrieving information

   how about being able to sign documents without connecting to a cloud service or being completely disconnected from the internet.. heck I can't sign it when i am fully connected..

7. Exporting to jpg format excludes markups and comments

   In acrobat XI, text boxes and other markups added in adobe are excluded when exported to jpg format.

   Exports to tiff format work correctly.

   Workaround: export to tiff and then convert to jpg

8. forgotten my acrobat password to edit

   I somehow have put a password on acrobat where it automatically puts paswords on all of my documents and i cant remeber what the password is.... this means i and others can open documents but we cant edit them????

9. Filter comments by color

   In a previous version of Acrobat (I believe it was version 9) it was possible to filter comments by color. Please bring back this feature, it was one of the most useful features of Adobe Acrobat. As a technical author, I need to add lots of different comments that are directed to different people. Some are only relevant for the illustrators, some for the developers, others for fellow writers, etc.
   Sometimes I also categorize the status of comments by color. E. g.:
   - green --> done
   - orange --> needs some clarification
   - red --> can't/won't be done

   Without the filtering feature, it is very hard to not get lost in the sometimes hundreds of comments.
   It would be great if you could bring back this feature, we used it a lot!

12. Messages from Adobe setting not respected

    When I have 'Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat' DESELECTED, I STILL get an ANNOYING message from Adobe about completing my profile. I DO NOT want to get any message about the Profile!

13. Combine Emails and Attachments

    I'd love for Adobe to add support for combining and convert email attachments. We use Adobe Acrobat for bulk printing, and it would be wonderful if we could load email messages (.msg) files in the combine files to Adobe box, and then print them.

    Hi

    This is already present in Acrobat – Combine menu.
    1. click on File>Create > Combine Files into Single PDF.
    2. Click on Add Files dropdown and select Add Email.

    Alternatively, you can drag and drop emails on Acrobat’s combine window.

    In previous versions of Acrobat, it was possible to copy and paste not only written (text) comments, but it was possible paste lines, boxes, ovals, clouds and other comment features from one page to another page.

    This is of importance because we use Acrobat to mark up floor plan drawings and send those comments back to the Architect for review and correction. The current version of Acrobat, as far as I am concerned, is broken because it no longer permits this behavior.

    This is a bug. This feature needs to be re-instated.

15. More direct 'Submit' button

    I have a pharma client that I've been working on a Sales Aid for. It was created in InDesign Interactive. At the end of this 8 page (or so) document, there's a simple form for people to request a patient starter kit. No signature is required. We would like to have people submit the form directly to my client, but in Acrobat Pro, the form goes to the end user's email address and they need to forward the form on to my client. This is a 2-step process and not ideal at all for user experience. Client wants the form to go directly to her (vs. first having form come into the user's email as an attachment). Is there a way to do that in Adobe in the future? Thanks!

17. Time sensitive PDF files.

    To use a time scale to limit PDF files being used or viewed even if they have been uploaded to a Web Page.

    We have a very High Profile Client who has requested that we provide a service whereby he can stop people viewing his PDF files after a specified time scale. At present they have to monitor the numerous websites where their PDF file have been uploaded to and request that that are taken down. They want this function to automatically stop the PDF from being viewed.

20. Problem: cannot check the box in pop-up when trying to sign in for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC any ideas???

    Just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed. When I open a pdf and try to merge with another the program says I am only using a trial version???
    When I try to sign in through the program I get a pop-up with terms of use and license agreement but I cannot check the box to agree to the terms and conditions so I cannot sign in...tried to contact them by phone but nobody answers...
