  1. The newest version of acrobat reader does not show the full file name at the top, only on the tab. When you have multiple tabs you can't see the full file name of the tab you are currently on and I think that is a step down from the previous version.

  2. I want to remove some of the tool or change their order but the «default» tools cannot be change. For example, for me I never use the signature tool so it is annoying to always have this tool in my bar.

    I also agree with other comments I saw that the tool bar should not overlap the content of the PDf.

  3. Expand tab width to display full document title.
    This was available in the previous version but was changed in the latest update.
    Instead of seeing the full title in the tab, I am now forced to click on the Window Menu to see it.

    1. Right click menu rework for tagging.
    2. I work primarily in tagging documents for accessibility, and I frequently use right click action menu to create a new tag. Sometimes over 100 individual uses on a document. There have been countless times where I accidentally click "auto-tag document" instead of "New Tag". I don't believe anyone auto tags a document from this right click menu and I believe it would be good to either remove it from the menu, or create some distance from regularly used features in that menu. This action cannot be undone with control + z and I always…

  4. The most recent update to Adobe Acrobat Pro is awful. The worst. You can't barely update and fill in PDFs. Creating text is impossible. And the program runs so slow it's not worth using. Please revert back to the former version that was actually useful. Or at least let me download a former version. This is just terrible.

  5. See attached image. This toolbar that adds nothing new or useful other than to make it more difficult to access or read documents needs to be easily removed/minimized/docked by the end user. I can't imagine what made anyone think "obstructing access to the document is what users want!"

  6. Absolutely HATE the new Adobe Sign. It takes me at least 3 times longer to send a document for e-signatures. Before the update, Adobe knew where I wanted text, signatures, and the date signed. Now I have to change the field type every single time I insert a field, the date is some crazy format that I have to change every time, and even if I click "Date Signed" it always just puts a "date" field in that I have to delete and insert the date signed field again. Please change it back!

  7. The new update makes setting up e-sign document much more time consuming.
    It doesnt read the fields like it used to and auto create the fields or assign them the correct type.

    Now i have to click to create a field and also change the date format on each field.. there isnt a default setting i can switch to

  9. What in the world were you thinking? Let's see... How hard can we make it to use our once-productivity-enhancing product? This is simply change for evil's sake. I'm going to stop using AAP altogether. What a disaster.

  10. Simply searching for a word in a 450 page document freezes up DC for 20-30 seconds in the new interface. This new interface is junk. I remember when you could get stuff done in Acrobat and it was this amazing tool. Now it's like Adobe doesn't care about UX, but would rather try to create something that's stylish above all. Stop trying to be Apple! No wonder the secondary PDF market is picking up steam. Am happily going back to the old interface.

  11. I wish I could have a simple usage report.
    In order not to damage privacy there could be a tool that indicates the last use with large variables:
    less than a month ago;
    more than a month ago;
    more than three months ago;
    more than 6 months ago; etc. as happens with the console of the non-competing software Autocad.
    Thanks best regards

  12. Bug. In Fill & Sign I cannot delete / change the signature. The side panel shows the "X" to delete the signature, but when I click nothing happens.
    I have to restart the program each time I want to delete a signature

  13. The toolbar on the right is a horror show! I need full screen width. I want the old version or at least the option to set it up however I feel comfortable. Not forcing this nightmare.

  14. There should be a way to move the tools back to the right, it adds time to my work to keep moving across the screen, why the change? Also what's with the floating tools bar that cannot be hidden or changed? I have no use for it and it's in the way

  15. Tabs have an empty area above them, meaning you can't take the mouse all the way to the top of the screen to quickly select a tab.

  17. The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".

    Acrobat Version: 2023.003.20269
    Platform: Windows 11 22H2

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open a PDF and then open the Document Properties dialog. Click on the "Initial View" tab, check the "Hide tool bars" option under "User Interface Options".
    2. Save the PDF and then close it. With Acrobat using the new UI model, open the PDF a second time, the "All Tools" side bar is displayed. Expected behaviour: the All Tools toolbar should not be shown as per the User Interface Option settings.

  18. the new Acrobat is so slow - there is a 4-5 second delay when typing before it shows the text - scrolling is also slow. I get a beachball every time I add a letter

    the older version was superior

  19. How can this be reverted back to horizontal? An example pic was included, showing the now vertical toolbar. This location is extremely inconvenient and I have users complaining to me.
