  1. Sometimes PDF files contain fonts that is not currently installed, so I have to use another font which doesn't look nice. It is a good idea that Adobe Acrobat can extract those fonts for editing or adding new text in the same font, which is inclued in the PDF.

  2. Added to the many annoying notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups/ advertising messages that Adobe has recently built in to Acrobat are notifications about "New Tools", whether in the quick access tool panel, on the application home page, or when viewing my online account/ profile at acrobat.adobe.com.

It appears to be some kind of "tour" of new features that is commonly used in other products, but (1) most of the places this notification appears will NOT trigger a tour when you click on it (it just opens the 'All Tools' menu), and (2) there is NO way to opt-out of it.

  3. Adobe Sign templates should be replaceable. There's currently no way to upload a new PDF file and replace an existing template. The only recourse is to delete the previous template, upload the revised PDF form as a new template, and then track down all of your workflows and web forms that utilize that template and update them. This defeats the main purpose of a template, which is to allow you to update a form in one place and expect that update to appear everywhere the template is used.

  4. A huge issue would be resolved if users could create (and save) their own "Signature Blocks" for documents requiring execution, like contracts, using the options already provided by Adobe (ex. mine would include signature, title, date, name) and each has to be "dragged: into the document every single time. For me, each contract is unique so "Forms" is not an option to solve for this.

  5. It should be clear with the countless posts of users wanting the default to be the Hand Tool and others wanting the default to be the Selection Tool.

In both cases, there has been countless work arounds and fixes to make it work one way or another. Since this latest update none of the fixes appear to be working now and it seems everyone is forced into having Selection as the default.

Simple feature request - have a Preference setting to select your default tool - Hand/Pan or Arrow/Select.

  6. Please let us allocate RAM to Adobe Acrobat. I have 32 GB of RAM and when I open a few heavy documents (the OECD transfer pricing guidelines in different editions), one of them comparing 2 heavy documents, everything slows down considerably. I subscribe to Creative Cloud, everything is up to date.

  7. Before you decided we'd be better off with "Take a snapshot" nested behind 2 layers of menus, it was simply Alt, E, A to use the Edit > Take a snapshot tool. I've seen enough of the ignored forum posts asking for it to be added as a hotkey item that we could put where we want, but I'm not even asking for that... I just don't want to have to navigate through yet another nested menu to use a tool that should be so much more accessible to begin with.

  8. It is still an issue in 2022. It is almost impossible to work on a file with more than 1000 comments; it is very slow, lags, and freezes. When you open 2 files with more than 1000 comments, Acrobat can't handle it anymore. It will stop working; it leads to: "(Not Responding)" forcing the user to quit Acrobat.

I have tried all the possible fixes/solutions and workarounds, but they do not work.
Our office uses fast laptops: Intel i7, 32GB RAM, and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 for the graphics card.

When could we expect a resolution for this?

  10. Page transitions in macos do not work, work fine in windows. This issue has been going on for well over a year so I can only assume this has not been fixed because it only affects mac users, and then only those few who use this feature?

  11. I am disappointed that your company has decided to remove the read allowed option. As a dyslexic masters graduate who is now studying for a degree in a different subject you are actively discriminating against people with protected disabilities. I am very angry and upset by you discrimination and prejudice because you have a monopoly in the market place. You are using peoples disabilities to make money so they have to buy an advanced product. I hope that the media runs a story about this and your disregard for legislation concerning disabilities. I feel upset and angry at your biased…

    Hi Caroline,
Thank you for connecting with us. Can you please tell me where are you not able to use Read Out Loud.
Read Out Loud functionality is still available and is in use. There is not decision to remove it.
Please share the steps and the OS details where you are facing this issue.

  13. I work with a lot of floor plans and need to compare them between different documents. What would save me a ton of time is being able to match the pan and zoom actions between two tiles windows. So that when I zoom or pan to an area in one window, the pan/zoom is duplicated in the other window. This should work weather the two windows are of the same document of completely different documents. I realize I would have to have both windows looking at the same area and at roughly the same zoom level before turning this feature…

  14. Please add keyboard shortcuts to reorder items in the tag panel.

Currently, a user must drag and drop tags in the Tags panel to change the reading order. It is easy to drag and drop items in the wrong place.

    To recreate this problem:
    1.) Open a tagged PDF
    2.) Open Accessibility Tools
    3.) Open Tags Panel
    4.) Attempt to re-order items

It would be extremely useful to be able to do the following
With a tag selected, I want the ability to do the following with the keyboard:

    -Move the tag up
    -Move the tag down
    -Move the tag…

  15. Hi Team

To whomever may be competent to solve the problem....

There are several incomprehensible bugs with accessibility in Acrobat.

    1. We can't create multiple tags in Tags pannel. Please create option for creating multiple tags just like when we create forms there is an option for do you want to create multiple forms. Screenshot pdf attached for your reference.
    2. We cannot delete Tag ID under Object properties at once. Some time its client requirement that they dont want ID, IDs come when we autotag the document.
    3. While working on a big files and creating tags, tags wont come in sequence,…

  16. I would welcome efforts by Adobe, including coordination with Nuance, to fully integrate Dragon Naturally Speaking into Adobe Acrobat DC. In trying to fill out editable forms in DC, it does not take my dictation directly into the space provided in the form. It requires me to use the Dragon Dictation Box, which is slow and cumbersome. This improvement would be greatly appreciated by disabled people such as me who have to rely on voice recognition to use their computers fully. I was able to dictate directly into this Comment Box. Thank you for considering my Feature Request.

  17. Every day I have to click off a pop up about sharing my work. I appreciate that I have been notified of a cool feature, but this should stop showing up after 3 times or maybe be put on a 6 month timer if you really feel like I need a reminder again.

Highlight non users and allow the recovery of wasted licenses.

  19. When I right click on a word or excel file and "convert to pdf" it would be better if the new pdf could save to the same folder as the original file by default. There should be an option to allow this, which I found to be a huge time saver when using Kofax Power PDF. The current adobe saving options only allow for using one pre-defined folder, or the last folder that something was saved to. This results in files being saved to the wrong location, or time wasted navigating to different folders every time.

  20. When converting a .pdf into a fillable form ('Prepare Form') please create an option to set properties so that Acrobat will always apply my preferred properties as the default.

It is inefficient to always convert the font and other properties to the settings I prefer for the forms I design.

I am aware I can set defaults for fields once the form is prepared and then duplicate this in a given form. I am also aware that I can multiple-select fields and change the properties for a group. However, I'd like a more efficient default-setting option, please.

    EG: I use…
