  1. Please please give us an option to remove the terrible "Try Acrobat PC Pro" blue button in the tabs bar. There is already more than enough ads for it everywhere: in the tools sidebar on the right, on the home screen, etc.

This button is taking up so much space that could be used to show more tabs! I'm so used to using Adobe and I like it but I think I will switch to another reader if this button is not removed. I even tried installing an older version of acrobat (which was a pain just to find it)…

  2. Adobe does not convert OCR characters when converting a PDF to a Word document. This is an important feature to many people. Other PDF software offers this. Adobe needs to realize the importance of this feature that has been offered for over a decade by other software companies.

As Abbyy states "Optical Character Recognition, or OCR, is a technology that enables you to convert different types of documents, such as scanned paper documents, PDF files or images captured by a digital camera into editable and searchable data."

If Abbyy can do it, why can't Adobe? I will have to use…

  5. I do a lot of pdf commenting, and I use a stylus/pen on a touch screen laptop to make this easier. The problem is that once I turn on the highlighter tool, I can't use my finger to scroll through the document, because Acrobat doesn't distinguish between the finger input and the stylus input. So I have to manually switch back and forth between the highlight tool and the arrow tool. Most other touch-capable PDF programs distinguish between finger input and stylus input, allowing you to scroll through the document with your finger and then highlight as needed. Is there…

  7. For people using Adobe Acrobat PDF forms for schedules, breakdowns or quick lists, having a form's fields link when pages are duplicated poses a huge issue for usability. Having an option within the program to unlink form fields across pages would be a great help for these uses.

    For example:
I have a single page form with 20+ fields to help organize shot lists for film scenes. It contains check boxes, drop down menus and input image fields related to a specific shot in a specific scene. I want to be able to duplicate this page within the document and…

  8. I am having the same issue as described in this 'Resolved' post, except that the issue has not been resolved:

    https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/20464111-how-do-i-add-new-fonts-to-adobe-acrobat-pro-dc

Namely, I have 'activated' Adobe Fonts through Creative Cloud, but I can't get it to show in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.

In the 'resolved' post, the 'solution' was a series of Microsoft links that only explain how to install fonts when you have a specific font file on your machine.

However we are talking about Adobe Fonts through creative cloud, there is no font file to use as per the link instructions. (This appears to be an Adobe issue,…

  9. Adobe DC 20.9.20067 crashes when zooming, using CTRL+Click wheel (on mouse).
    Windows 10 Enterprise machine 10.0.18362 Build 18362

    We have:
    - Verified there are no updates (Adobe)
    - Reinstalled the program
    - Ran all existing Manufacturer updates (Lenovo)
    - Ran all available Windows updates
    - Altered NVIDIA (Quadro K4200) settings per article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/scrolling-problem-acrobat-pro-dc/td-p/7700173/page/2?page=1

Nothing has stopped this from happening. Please advise what can be done to correct this issue.

*This is an intermittent issue that cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes Adobe is the only program opened when a crash occurs

  10. I don't understand why the icons in the top toolbar have to be so big and there appears to be no option to show labels. It's frustrating to have to hover over each one to figure out what it's for.

Icons alone don't work for everybody. I've worked in Adobe products since PageMaker and the move toward stylized, cryptic icons makes me feel like suddenly I'm not welcome anymore.

Creative cloud gets in the way of my workflow. It always wants more of my attention than I want to give it - too many clicks, form over function, and fewer…

  11. Worst UI since Acrobat Pro 11

Very glitchy and crashes when i want to measure (which is what i use for work)
All the different symbol color changes inhibits productivity as everything is now gray scale.

Where can i go for a refund and can i be hooked up with a fresh copy of acrobat pro 11. I don't care if it's no longer supported, just let me have it so i can retain fluidity in productivity.

  12. the ability to actually DELETE and agreement within adobe sign is currently burried benieth 3 or 4 submenues and then an explicit search must be performed to find and agreement. THIS IS A BASIC feature that must be accessible at the agreement home page list. If you believe there is a privacy issue then let it be a popup notifying.

trying to find these features is frustrating and internet searches/support are not knowledgeable about how to accomplish.

SIMPLE FEATURE THAT MUST BE ACCESSIBLE

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out on this.
We’ve reported this to our Engineering Team and we’ll plan to work on this in our upcoming updates.

Let me know for any further concerns here.

    Thanks
    Ayush

  14. was working on v.10.1.14 - it was easy to use, clean interface, didn't take pressing many buttons to do common tasks. current version a pain to use, just like MS Office, you have taken an excellent product and made it clunky and awkward, a real shame

  15. We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017. Our management uses Fill & Sign feature frequently for signing various documents. The default color of signature is black and Acrobat Pro 2017 does not allow to change the color of drawn signature. We would request to please introduce this feature in Acrobat Pro 2017 as is available in Adobe Acrobat DC,

    Hi,

Thanks for providing your feedback. We have shared this with the engineering team and will let you know in case of any updates.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  16. Older versions (prior to text recognition) allowed you to type onto a pdf and edit it later without any interference. The new DC software while still allowing you to type and edit more than often enough recognizes the original text of the document making it editable and causing tons of interference with the user entered text. There should be a feature which locks text recognition and doesnt allow the editing tool to recognize the base document script which will allow for easy editing if you have to save and come back to a document and make changes.

  19. Currently, embedded links which use the Data URL schema are blocked by Adobe Acrobat even when adjusting security settings. Adobe Acrobat doesn't need to support reading these links as they're simply opened in a browser, but we need Acrobat to stop blocking these links. I've attached an example PDF with an embedded data url.

  20. I want to upvote "Reopen PDFs Launched in previous sessions on Opening Acrobat/Reader".
Although you implemented reopen pdfs from last session, it would be INCREDIBLY useful to be able to save sessions. e.g. 5 specific pdfs regarding research on wastewater management could be saved as a session and 10 different pdfs (or some of the previous 5) as a session regarding Mn removal from water with an option to recall whichever I need when opening Acrobat. That would speed up a lot of people's workflow, especially those who have to jump through multiple topics with various materials.
