1. Issue with copy-paste option in multiple languages

   With the new version of Acrobat, the copy-paste process between a PDF document and other text field, doesn't work properly. The special characters (i.e. French accents like é è à) don't show up anymore when we copy-paste without formatting. 3. Give back the text box

   I want the framed box back. I put all kinds of status notes on PDFs and with the true Text-Box I could see them when browsing in Explorer.

   Hidden comments or hidden sticky notes are useless for this purpose.

4. email phishing

   Background:
   I'm an IT Administrator. We have an administrative Adobe account and issue accounts/licenses to our users.

   Summary:
   The problem is being unable to determine if emails from adobesign@adobesign.com are really from our staff or outsiders (since all AdobeSign documents send from that address) and I've found no points (email headers, body content, metadata... etc.) from which to filter these emails in our email security system, Mimecast.

   Details:
   I know of at least one person who has created an AbodeSign with a display name that matches our company's name. When their AdobeSign emails come to our users, I want the email system to block it; however, I need to allow AdobeSign emails from our staff.

   Goals:
   1. Determine if the email is malicious or not
   2. Determine if the email was sent by our staff or not.

   Technical Limitations:
   - Because emails are sent by Adobe servers, emails from bad actors are considered legitimate.
   - Because Adobe account usernames/email addresses are omitted from the email body/headers, emails from bad actors and our staff cannot be differentiated.
   - Because the contained link resolves to Adobe Document Cloud (a login page), the link cannot be used to filter content from bad actors.
   - Because the recipient must log in in order to see the content on the Document Cloud website, our scanners cannot determine if the document contains malicious or phishing content or if the text or hyperlinked URLs within the document are lead to a malicious website.

   Workaround:
   The only workarounds I can think of are to add some kind of template text to the email body or to add a special character within the display name of every user account. These workarounds can be copied by bad actors and it would only solve problem 1, knowing if the email came from an account that we provisioned.

   Request:
   Please add the ability to configure header information or something that a user cannot see but that an email system can actionable filter on. I believe this would help aid admins and business owners defend themselves against hackers who utilize your platform maliciously.
   If there's any other option that you have to allow any non-Adobe system to monitor the opening of content hosted on your systems, please reply with that.

5. How to disable "Export PDF" option in "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC"

   • We have password protected PDF file and it is still allowing users to export into word file.
   - When we open that file in "Adobe Reader" and try to export the pdf in word, system is showing an error saying that "The file cannot be converted because it is password protected"
   - However, the same file when we open it in "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC", it is allowing the same file to exported in word file.
   • Our customer wants to prevent their legal pdf documents from being exported in any other file.
   • So is there any way by which we can disable the "Export PDF" option?
   • We have also noticed the document properties are getting compromised in "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC".

   • We have password protected PDF file and it is still allowing users to export into word file.

6. Acrobat - Option to change the cursor into laser pointer for presentations

   I build most of my presentation decks in Illustrator and export to PDF for Acrobat. It would be useful to have my cursor act like a red-dot laser pointer for presentations.

   Now that so many meetings are remote (Zoom) it would be nice to have more robust presentation features.

   PowerPoint has this feature, but I hate PowerPoint.

7. Set Defaults For Output Options When Splittings PDFs

   Each and every time I split a PDF, I must manually set the folder I want the files to save to. I should be able to set the folder path one time and Acrobat will default to that same folder next time I split a PDF. This goes for all the settings whenever splitting a PDF. It would save me time if Acrobat remembered what options I used last when splitting a file. For instance, if I split a file and used the "Use top level bookmarks" option, the next time I go to split a PDF I shouldn't have to set this option again.

   Another idea.. If you manually set bookmarks on a PDF, then the default split method would only then become 'top level bookmarks'.

8. Digital Signature Problems

   I've been using digital signatures in Adobe Acrobat for YEARS. Just got a new PC for work and digital signatures are not working properly or consistently. Documents that need signatures always need two. The second person (no matter who it is) always has problems and the experience changes each time. Sometimes, the certification toolbar won't come up. Sometimes the visible signature option is not available. Sometimes the software goes completely black. There is never any error message. The software just doesn't work for the second signature. Both brand new machines. Both have exactly the same software versions. Both use the exact same method of creating the digital identity. Both use the same tool (certify document) to apply digital signature. I've done more than my share of troubleshooting on this issue and can figure out just about any problem. Other posts here say that the issue is resolved. It is not resolved.

9. Make Template Text Editable in Adobe Sign

   Using templates is an extreme time saver. However, you should be able to edit the template text before sending for signature. Adding things like pertinent dates and names to documents is essential.
   If this feature were available, I'd be able to use 20 templates opposed to the current 5 that don't need to be edited first.

10. Stop annoying Quick Actions popup editor in Adobe Acrobat

    Please please please allow turning OFF that annoying editing popup that appears constantly in the way of my editing. It is unnecessary and time consuming to deal with. A BAD idea—get rid of it.

11. Completely Useless Software for Editing

    This software is completely useless for editing pdfs. It glitches on all my computers and makes the worker frustrated and rightfully think that Adobe should do a much better job than they have in this context. You claim to be amongst the best software companies, so let your products demonstrate your claim!

12. Video not working on Acrobat DC

    Tools for Rich Media work fine for development when we add a video. It fails when we try to view the video added on Acrobat DC for Windows.

    Acrobat Reader can play the video fine on both the PC and Mac

    Acrobat DC Pro on the Mac version # 2021.005.20048 can create and play the video correctly.

    Acrobat DC Pro on Windows can create the PDF with Rich Media tools but it can not play the video. It may crash or it may do nothing. No video can be seen. I tried it both playing in the document or in its own window. The version we are running is 2021.005.20155. I do not need to upload a file since it happens on any file with a video. We had 7 computers creating and viewing the file and it worked the same on all the systems. I believe this is a bug in this version on the Windows side.

    Tools for Rich Media work fine for development when we add a video. It fails when we try to view the video added on Acrobat DC for Windows.

13. Disable Creative Cloud for Enterprise

    Our company needs the ability to disable Creative Cloud Storage due to restrictions on where we are allowed to store and manage our customers information.

    We have employees working remote from all over the US and the "firewall" fix is not sufficient for our employee base of over 600 users. We need the ability to disable creative cloud and cloud storage functionality from the admin console and ONLY have the capability for local storage.

    Hi,
    Thank you for connecting with us. Please follow the below steps to change the speed of Read Out Loud:
    1. Go to Preferences. (Ctrl + K)
    2. Go to Reading in Left hand navigation bar
    3. Under Read Out Loud Options heading, Uncheck Use default speech attributes and enter the speed in Words per minute field between 50 to 450.
    4. Click Ok and use Read Out Loud

    Similarly you can change other attributes as well. Please confirm if this resolves your issue.

16. Remove rounded edges on highlights

    The rounded edges/sides of highlights have got to go. It boggles my mind that this doesn't seem to be more of an issue to others.

    If you highlight a portion of text, the left and right sides of the highlight are shaped such that it both visually and functionally spills over onto the adjacent [un-highlighted] text.

    Because of this, the adjacent text is extremely difficult to select; 9/10 times, you end up selecting the highlight element. The resulting markup just looks cartoonish as well.

    I’m guessing that implementing a rounded shape for all highlight objects in acrobat, is far more difficult than simply having a rectangular one. So someone put in some effort into this for some reason.

    Keep it simple; I know it’s hard.

18. Assign shortcut keys to all menus and options

    Not only is the DC interface confusing and more time-consuming to use than the old one, but it does not comply with Section 508 of the Americans With Disability Act, which requires that the federal government, in its software procurement process, consider accessibility. Adobe Acrobat does not take into account the needs of users who rely on voice recognition software to accomplish actions that fully abled users accomplish with the mouse. When using voice recognition software, it is quick and easy to dictate a shortcut key or sequence of shortcut keys, but extremely slow, cumbersome and error-prone to get the software to click on a particular location. In the older version of Adobe Acrobat, most of what I did could be accomplished by dictating shortcut keys. In the new version, very few commands can be accomplished with keyboard shortcuts (or even with a series of them, as in Microsoft applications). As a result, I do almost nothing in Acrobat with my voice recognition software. Using the current version exacerbates the repetitive stress injury that I rely on voice recognition software to minimize. 19. Ability to Use Bookmarks to Reorder Pages

    It would save me hours a week if I could arrange bookmarks the way I need in the file and then have the pages be reordered to follow the bookmarks. I deal with files that are thousands of pages and rearranging large quantities of pages in thumbnail view tends to crash the program. Thanks for your consideration!

20. Portfolio PDFs open blank in Protected View

    Steps to reproduce:
    Set Protected View to "All files"
    Fully Close Acrobat
    Open a Portfolio PDF by double clicking on the file.

    Environment:
    Windows 10 Enterprise version 1909
    Adobe Acrobat DC Pro 20.013.20064

    Expected result:
    Portfolio PDF opens without issue. The "enable all features" button appears at the top and can be clicked. The list of files is shown at the top and the document at the bottom. This is observable in version 20.012.20041

    Observed result:
    Acrobat opens with both the list of files and the document completely blank. The "enable all features" button appears, but does nothing when clicked and does not go away. On the Home tab, the Recent section is empty.
    When Acrobat is opened before the PDF is, the PDF displays properly.
    If Protected View is temporarily disabled, the PDF opens as expected.
    If Acrobat.dll is replaced with a copy from 20.012.20041, the PDF opens as expected.

    Protected View cannot be disabled due to V-79381

    Steps to reproduce:
    Set Protected View to "All files"
    Fully Close Acrobat
    Open a Portfolio PDF by double clicking on the file.

    Environment:
