Changing form field size distorts text
When I have form fields that I created and that are filled in, I can't change the field size or shape without it distorting the text completely. I have to drag it to distort, hit undo, then do it again. The first size change screws up the text, but the second time does not. It's very aggravating when I need to adjust numerous text box sizes and have to do everything twice to avoid stretching the text.
1 votePlease share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with. You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..
Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.
Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.
If this still doesn’t resolve the issue, please share the test file and a video of the issue via
https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further.-Bhavna

Custom Stamp unavailable in Acrobat for Mac
Custom stamp isn't populating the Stamp icon in Acrobat DC Pro for some Macs even when it is in the Stamp Folder. The custom stamp works on all Windows OS and all Mac OS but a few Mac users are having that issue.
1 voteHello,
Most likely this seems to be an issue with the permissions with a user profile on the system, please try the following steps and check if that helps.
1. Create a new user profile on the affected Mac machine, and test the scenario again.
2. Check the permission on Adobe folder and Sub-folders, match with non-affected Mac machines:Location of Adobe folder:
It’s in your user (Home) > Library folder. In recent versions of Mac OSX, this is hidden by default.
In the Finder, hold down the Option key first while choosing Go > Library so you can see it.
Then find it in:
Library > Application Support > “Adobe” > Acrobat > DC > Stampslet us know how it goes.

Cloud Based Digital ID
Cloud based digital IDs are getting common, convenience (applicable for use between different devices), cheaper and my desire feature - 2 factor OTP (One-Time Password). Why Acrobat Pro DC does not allows cloud based digital IDs? I don't feel there's a competition to Adobe Sign if this is included. More importantly, tag line for Acrobat is "complete PDF solution", it will be ridiculous to switch between 2 Adobe software just for signing with cloud based digital ID.
P.S.: Took me quite a while to realize the difference between token/certificate digital ID and cloud based digital ID. My effort was wasted…

View/page display/enable scrolling - doesn't work when selected
When I open a PDF, and select View/page display/enable scrolling - it doesn't work. I have discovered (trial and error) that if I change the window size (click on bottom corner and drag/resize diagonally a little, larger or smaller) that that seems to correct the enable scrolling issue. It is frustraitng to have to do that with each PDF I open, since I review multiple-paged PDFs a good bit of the day. Please fix it. Thanks. (iMac user)

What happened to the % view in the top of the PDF window?
I view PDFs on a 27" screen so two open PDFs fit side by side, making review easier. I no longer see the % field in the tool section at top of each PDF. While I can, with multiple steps (4), change the view % size, it used to be so easy to just change the visible % field as needed—1 step. Usually, I need the annotated PDF at 75% and the revised PDF at 100% (this allows for the wide comment column to be seen.). I have searched all the tool preferences that I can find, but can not…

Unapplyable comment, and import FDF file to PDF file
Could not find the menu for import FDF file to PDF file. It was next to Export all the comments to FDF file. Sometimes I need to merge some different reviewers' comments into 1 PDF file, I need this.
Also, online review is not available for some kind of commenting? but it didn't say detail or how to solve the problem, I could not do anything. Is it possible to show us what was wrong?

When exporting to excel it is auto merging cells now.
Each time I export to excel the format is not like the previous versions. There is far more work to format the document. Cells will auto merge or additional columns will be added. Past versions have allowed me to export the exact document with no format issues.

Unknown location if available for the crop feature. To crop documents.
Older versions I was able to quickly locate the tools to crop an image to make it smaller. I was also able to break down a document and extract one page if needed as a pdf file. Manipulate files is what this was useful for. No longer is this a user friendly program.

[Solved] Acrobat Pro DC 2019.0008.20071 crashing
Windows 10 Pro 64, Office 365 Home
I use an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of and open with links most of my pdf ebooks. Last day or two, Acrobat began crashing when I used an Excel link if there were any documents already open in Acrobat. Very frustrating because I'm just trying to do what I do every day of the week, multiple times in a day. I discovered that the problem was restricted to one desktop and to one of the two monitors on that machine, the extended display. Cut story short, the issue was solved after I…

Print to PDF
Dear Adobe team.
I'd like to mention that for some reason, when I am on any app and I want to print as PDF, the quality of the file when I choose Microsoft Print to PDF is much better than when I choose Adobe PDF printer... That's very strange to me, given that as long as I know, you are the creators of this standard... Same thing happened when I had a mac. The built in PDF printer was much better than the Adobe one. I never went deep into settings to try to fine tune it so that I…1 vote -

Show Fillable Fields Again
The previous version of Acrobat clearly indicated which fields were fillable by having them highlighted in blue. And now there simply isn't anything, and it's suggested to simply just click and check? Not effective, efficient, or clear especially for forms that are aimed towards less tech savvy people.

Was able to share Adobe XFA form for review, but ended up with funny situation.
When using the latest Acrobat DC to share Adobe LiveCycle Dynamic Form for review on the cloud, I was able to receive the document on the participant side, but the document didn't show, instead I see a message as usual because it is a dynamic form, which is expected. But, I was able to use commenting tools online to draw and add comments, which seemed very strange. When I opened the document from the originating reviewer using Acrobat, I saw the comments and drawing, which is shocking. I tried to add comments, it didn't let me, which is expected. Please…

Certifying pdf's over network fails with disk space error
When trying to apply a certificate and save a pdf on a network drive, I'm presented with:
]
The document could not be saved. The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk.I am using Acrobat Pro, I saw on some forums the solution was to disable "Enable protected mode on startup" but this seems to be an Acrobat reader option.
I have full access to the network drive, there is plenty of space both locally and on…
